Ray Hockaday is a center-men for the Medicine Hat Tigers in the western hockey league. He was spending his whole hockey career hiding from the fear of being afraid of the rough side of hockey. The Medicine Hat Tigers were assigned a new player from Russia on there team. Vlad was the new player and Ray was told to help Vlad get used to Canada with English speaking people. Vlad was hiding something from Ray that could get them killed. I recommend this book to people who enjoy reading sports and realistic fiction.

Tiger Threat is an outstanding book written by Sigmund Brouwer. This book is about a kid named Ray Hockaday who plays hockey for the Medicine Hat Tigers. There is a new player on the team from Russia named Vlad. Ray has to teach Vlad some English and some things about America. It was all fun and games until Ray took Vlad to the Dentist, Ray found out something that was life threatening and could end any of Vlad's friends lives. I would definitely give this book a 5 star rating and I recommend this book to people who love sports. The theme of this book is that you don't always deserve what happens. Read the book to see what happens next.

Tiger threat has to be one of the best books that I've ever read. It is targeted to hockey players and people that don't play will not really understand much of the hockey terms. But besides that, this book is a mystery book. There is this Russian guy named Vladislav that immigrated to America to play in the WHL. He moves in with a guy named Ray Hockaday. They are on the same team and live together but Vlad doesn't speak English. that's all I'm going to tell you so you have to read the book to find out what happens.

Hockey is Ray Hockaday's life. He has dreams of the NHL - serious dreams. Known for playing smart, he's the center for the Medicine Hat Tigers. Unfortunately his new coach seems to know his secret. Ray is scared. The brutal, physical side of hockey terrifies him, but according to the coach it's all part of the game and he better show he can handle it.

It turns out that the scary, physical stuff is not going to be isolated to just the hockey rink for Ray. Vlad, a Russian teammate, is suddenly the center of some frightening, unwanted attention. Vlad also has a secret - one that seems to be hidden in his mouth. Ray finds himself in the middle of international intrigue including thugs, car chases, and secret documents.

TIGER THREAT is edge of your seat, hold on to your hat action. Written in the high interest, lower reading level style, Sigmund Brouwer takes readers into hockey action and mystery/spy thriller adventure all at the same time. This quick read might be just the thing to hook reluctant readers and get them ready for more.

I read a book called Tiger Threat by Sigmund Brower. It was about hockey. Ray Hockaday plays for the Medicine Hat Tigers. He had to take care of a new player named Valad. He was from Russia. Valad's teammates called him La-Dee-Da. In the book Ray gets hammered by a tire iron. It was a very good book. I would recommend this book to people who like hockey.
