A hot cop showering me with attention? Yes, please.
Opening a yoga studio in a small town has been a challenge, but things are finally looking up. Instantly falling for the sexy cop who did my fire inspection isn’t a hardship either. Until I discover that we share a connection beyond this intense attraction.
Even the best of intentions sometimes backfire.
Confiding in Mike should be the perfect solution when I suspect that a student is being abused, but doing so might put her in greater danger and my business at risk. Will Mike believe me over his family? And if my suspicions are correct, what will it mean for the future of my studio?
I’ve never been a believer in love at first sight .
Until I meet Leah while moonlighting on a special fire inspection task force. One chance encounter with the gorgeous new yoga teacher, and I fall hard and fast. She makes me feel seen in ways no one has before, and I trust her with everything—even my deepest secrets, like how I want to join the fire department as an inspector—until I don’t. My split second of mistrust may cost a family friend her safety, and me the chance for love.
IGNITION POINT wasn't too bad but it was a straight forward plot and a little bit forgettable. I liked Leah more than I did Mike but they had good chemistry together. The story is focused more on external factors than any relationship issues and there's a good introduction to the side characters who will clearly be getting books in the rest of the series. Overall, an easy read with some spice but I don't think I'll be reading the rest of the books.
As a note, the Kindle edition of this ends at 83% so that surprised me a bit.
Not a bad read, super quick. That being said there are a lot of heavy topics introduced for such a short book and I feel as though adding some additional content would have allowed for more depth and understanding instead of the quickly tied up ending. With the way this book is written I don’t anticipate those topics to be further fleshed out through additional books as the side characters truly have a supporting role in this book.
This is such a sweet and heartwarming read. I love that Mike is so head over heels for Leah from the very beginning, and Leah is such a sweet, caring, and wholesome woman. We love a Queen who will stand up for her man, you go girl!!! And the spice 🥵🤭…did I mention the spice? I can’t wait to read more about the men of Newman FD.
Enjoyed this story immensely. Have to admit I read these books in reverse order. And I wanted every one of them to be longer! Rae doesn’t great job of pulling you in and has you rooting for these couples from the start. Read this one and quickly on to the next…they are so worth it!
This was a fairly good read. It had lots of chemistry and spicy scenes but for being about mem who protect and serve. It was missing the action. I was left a little disappointed. It was more of a high school romance book with adult sex scenes.
Very middle of the road romance for me. Very hallmark esque, but I don’t think the instant love trope is my vibe. Also it was a cop lisason with the fire department. Cops aren’t my cup of tea 🤷🏼♀️😂 Overall a short and sweet read.
