"Residue will scare you-that's its primary goal-but along the way it will touch you, shock you, make you laugh, make you cheer, and make you think. Horror has been waiting for Steve Diamond." - Dan Wells, New York Times bestselling author of the John Cleaver Series and the Partials Sequence
I liked it as an ending to this series. I'd even say it's the strongest book in the trilogy. I think we got some really good character development and interaction. I liked how it ended, unlike the (so far) only other review showing here right now. I'm not saying I don't see the other reviewer's point, but this ending suits my preferences better than the alternative likely would have. If you're really into hardcore horror, you might not like it; I'm not much of a horror reader, so I liked the ending. Though I do wish we'd gotten a bit more of a denouement.
The series was great! Steve Diamond you did a fantastic job! Totally immersed in the book. Loved the paranormal mixed with in my opinion superheroes / elements of horror & mystery. I would never had thought that would have fused so well together, but it was an incredible read. Well done!
So it’s not that I didn’t like the book it just seems way too easy, like a marvel movie. Impossible situation … time travel and just undoing everything. I still liked the book but I thought the end was just too easy.
