Warnings: This title contains erotic situations, graphic language, a steamy threesome and a hot girl on girl scene, satisfying hidden desires. It is however a MF erotic romance.
USA Today Bestselling Author Lacey Silks writes seat-gripping romantic suspense with heat and spice. She’s married to most of her characters and tortures her husband with quirky book roles. Lacey’s two kids and her dog Kygo fill her time with homework questions and sweet licks all over her face (the dog not the kids).
When she’s not writing seat-gripping and heart-throbbing stories, Lacey enjoys camping and skiing with her family. She’s an early bird by nature and drinks coffee instead of water, because that’s how her busy billionaire heroes do it.
Lacey’s flawed and relatable characters fill the pages with laughter, snark and tears. She judges men by the size of their feet, loves sexy lingerie, and can’t live without her “boost juice”: coffee.

Welcome to Fuckland where you'll get extra special two-for-one offer! Lacey Silks doesn't waste her or your time. Her heroine Samantha looks for one night stand and she gets it after five pages. It is completely different matter who is" lucky winner". Last time I read f/f scene that was hot like that was when I had read Selena Kitt (who else!).
It's all about passion. Dazzled by Silver is pure erotica. There is a story behind all the steamy scenes, but it is quite obvious that main focus of the story is sex. A lot of it. Insanely hot and in all possible variations you can imagine two women and one man. Looking back, it was the best part of this novel - Lacey Silks knows how to get all hot and bothered. Background story on the other hand wasn't too convincing. General premise of the story is interesting - Sam's friend, Kendra, gets in some serious trouble with bad people and Gabe is there to help her out. Sam hooks up with Gabe, ends in the wrong place at the wrong time and he has to protect her and Kendra. Gabe has his own issues and all of this brings back some bad memories. This part of the story should have been more detailed - it's the most interesting part of the plot.
It could have been better. Dazzled by Silver had a potential to be great book. If it was mor a romantic suspense and less trashy erotica. I have noting against trashy erotica, but not everyone can pull off their inner Selena Kitt. Other than that, main male character is cliche - a bad, strong man with millions on the bank account and all kind of James Bond moves. But, that is something completely normal in this type of novels. I just wish there were a little bit more depth and story development.
Trilogy. Story about Gabe Silver is just prequel to the, let's say, main story of the Layers Trilogy. Central character will be his cousin Tristan Cross. I really hope that novel will be better.
I hate when I don't like a book. I held out hope though until the very end -- just to still not like it after it was over.
There were a few key issues for me that I just could never get past. The first 4% of this book was all that I read for a good month or so before picking it back up. And what caused that???
The main character was not identified as male or female. There was attraction to the hot male bartender described and then attraction to the hot female friend described... but still no description of who was the one getting turned on. Where were they? Why were they there? Nothing. Then suddenly the lead character clenched their thighs together to ease the ache.... BINGO! Now I knew it was a chick, because men don't purposely squeeze their balls between their thighs...
The start of this story seemed so jumbled - content on describing nothing but the shivers & aches that it failed to start the story. Then when I picked it back up and decided to stick it out and see if things would come together I found myself at 10% and I just could never get over the descriptions used.
She pressed onto me, locking the last breath I took inside me as I sucked on her tender flesh. Her muscles shook, and her warm juices squirted on my face as she screamed. I'd never seen so much fluid come out of a woman before so I licked her until her muscles tightened again.
Beyond the above mentioned items there was a lot more sex than story line. A lot of repeating lines and phrasing, even some less than dramatic dialogue during what should be an intense situation.
The story had a decent plot and if some of the other issues did not exist I might have been able to fall into. So here is a little peak as to what the story was about (once I got there).
Samantha is newly out of a relationship with a guy that treated her like crap. She has an attraction to a good friend Kendra and also the hunky bartender Gabe. She gives into her desire to experience sex with Kendra and then decides that a no-string relationship with Gabe is just what she needs.
But as the story progresses you find that Kendra has gotten herself into quite a pickle, Gabe and his partners are Investigators and are working the case to keep Kendra safe - find the bad guys and seek a bit of revenge for what happened during their last run in with the bad guys. But in the midst of all this they fall in love. And then it ends with a cliffhanger.
After reading the other reviews, part of me feels like I read a different book. But we all have our own tastes and find different things interesting so I hope that others find something in this story they can enjoy.
The first person view of Samantha takes the reader on a sensational ride. I enjoyed this characters firsthand account of her adventurous return to dating. This author let’s the reader experience every type of emotion through Sam – simple, complex, but especially unadulterated.
Within two weeks of meeting Gabe, I was on his plane, flying to New Zealand, half-naked and sweaty.
The only reason this didn’t get 5-mugs was the secondary character Kendra. She had the tendency to be needy and annoying. The author is going to have to do some major rejuvenation on her character for the next book.
Disclosure: This ebook was provided to me free of charge by the author for the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments, and ratings are my own.
I was given a copy for an honest review. Aahhh I finished it. This book just started off...off, and didn't get really any better. Even though I read the blurb before I got the book and saw the main characters names, when I started reading the book for quite a while I wasn't sure if the point of view was coming from a man or a woman named Sam. Sam was turned on by both men and women so it was confusing-until it wasn't anymore. It has lots and lots of potential it's just not what it could be. There is lots of sex and a little bit of a story line. It needs to be more in depth with the story line and have less sex. Actually the book isn't that long of a book so the amount sex could stay with the addition of more detailed story. It ends with a cliffhanger, but because the story was so not there the connection to the characters (for me) was not there either. I could care less if I find out what happens to Kendra. I'll just say, I hate to give a less than wonderful review when the author gave me the copy of the book. I'm sorry! :(
This is my very first ARC book so I want to do this review justice. I love the way this book opens up and draws me in. I am baited, hooked, and headed to my demise. “ What are you drinking” “a Virgin Mary” “Virgin’s are fine, but not in a drink” Oh how we can all relate in this book to Sam with bad boring lovers, thinking we will end up with a reward at the end and left so clearly unsated. The lesbian attraction is something that dreams are made of … it enticed me more than I imagined Mystery erotica seems to be my new nitch I love it! You have an extremely sexy PI who’s looking out for the bar’s owner (Kendra) while Sam falls for a “one night stand” Mr. Silver can make me an orgasm any time he wants! I love a protective man and Mr. Silver (and the sexy male POV given in this book) deliver! Gabe wants Sam and he wants to explore every avenue of the word..make her squirm blush and …. Well “ I liked the way it rolled off his tongue, feeling more precious than gold but somehow as toxic as arsenic” Holy hot sexy oh my Mr. Silver is the only thing I can say… I would kill to be in Sam’s shoes!! Gabe is the sexiest tease of a man: funny, coy, and can charm anyones panties off I am panting like a dog as I read this! Whats this plot???? ….. there is a good story surrounding this hot love affair good heavens tell me more…and I wish it were told while Gabe was still naked… oh myy Would you save your friend…with a threesome offer??? SAY YES SAM!!! …story gets a little fuzzy here… HOLY HELL OF A PLOT TWIST OMG!!!! ( CHAPTER 9…you are going to want to read it) I love sam and Gabe!!!—I can’t wait for more!!! Sultry read…could use some editing work overall 4.5 hands down!
Sexy- sexy- sexy! Mr. Silver my oh my does he dazzle! This book packs one fun filled sexual punch from beginning to end. If you have a prudish side.. Don't read it. If you like your chapters a little on the risky with a high chance of orgasmic sparks. Read it! Hell read it twice! (F/F- M/F/F - M/F) Samantha has had a terrible relationship. The sex was awful and the guy was all about "him", our girl is single and wants to know the other side. She wants a no strings, let your freak flag fly fun time. When we first meet Gabe we meet him behind the bar at her friend Kendra's club. (I wanted to smack Kendra and felt she was a selfish bitch) It really bothered me that Sam was always worried about her, when she was the trouble maker. I loved Gabe. He is sexy-flirty and seems like the perfect cure for her itch.. Hmmm some things are not at they seem. Gabe is way more than meets the eye. He had a alpha male feel that I love... just enough control, perfect mix of dirty mouth. Murder plots- drugs- hit men/mafia- it's all crazy and the story takes on a whole different route. I was a bit overwhelmed with the pace of story and how it all tied together. I would have liked a bit more back story. In the end we have a good sexy romp that leaves you wishing for your own Mr. Silver... Now if only we knew what happened to that trouble of a friend... Book two will tell.
So this was an interesting story. A few issues with word misuse (when you're taking someone away, you're stealing, not steeling... there was another one, but I can't remember now). And some punctuation issues. But generally, well written. And it was sweet... neither Sam nor Gabe were looking for anything long term. They both had reasons to be wary of love, but we all know you can't choose who you fall for. And interestingly, even though Sam kept trying to remind herself it was short term and Gabe would say things that implied he was trying to remind himself as well, neither of them really tried to fight it. There was no real running away by either party from how they felt. It was an interesting setup for the next book.
My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts as I went with the book...
Lacey Silks’ Dazzled By Silver was an interesting erotic suspense with a love story between a sexy Private Investigator and one proverbial ‘damsel in distress’. I enjoyed the storyline a lot and Ms. Silks’ writing style. It was flowing and kept me hooked most of the times. However there was one detail that I didn’t like and it hampered my enjoyment a lot. I’ll try to elaborate as I go.
Samantha’s love life has been in shambles for too long. Very recently, she got rid of her boyfriend of 2 yrs., a jerk, with whom she had a relationship that at best can be called ‘awkward’. She thought she loved him, and so stuck with him. Anyhoo, to make matters short, even though it has ended, it left Samantha which a very low self-esteem. But she’s willing to pick up the pieces and move on which is why, right now, Samantha is not looking for any relationship with commitment. So when her BFF Kendra asks her to join her newly opened nightclub, which would surely provide enough ‘diversion’ for Samantha from her break-up blues, she jumps to the opportunity. The story actually starts when they’re in that crowded nightclub, together and Samantha zooms on the sexy, tanned bartender with the beautiful gray eyes.
But then, I found Kendra saying things in her ears and Samantha reacting to it sexually. Next they go private and pleasure each-other. It’s revealed that Samantha and Kendra have had itch for each-other and acted on it before. Umm. Ok.
Either way, Samantha is interested in that sexy bartender called Gabe and wants to have some unattached flings with him. Kendra encourages her. But in a nutshell, soon Samantha finds out that Gabe is not a simple bartender but shares half the ownership of the nightclub with Kendra. He’s very rich, has his own ‘business’ and is called Gabriel Silver.
One encounter with danger, and Samantha later also finds out that Gabe is a private investigator. He doesn’t give her the details for a while. Samantha gets to know that Kendra does drugs and has courted danger with some local mafia (or so I thought) that involves a huge amount of money for the nightclub. One guy called Martinez is keeping tabs on her, and now Samantha is also a target because she’s close to Kendra and has been seen with her and Gabe. What Gabe tells Samantha that he’s keeping an eye for Kendra on behalf of Tristan Cross, her ex. Now, Samantha is also added to his list, not only because she’s in danger but also because he has wanted to protect her since the first moment he saw her. When, however, Samantha tries to talk to Kendra about Tristan, she’s evades by groping Samantha but it’s plain that she still harbors feelings for that guy.
In between, Samantha and Gabe become intimate because, duh, they wanted to do each-other since that first day! For Samantha’s sake, Gabe keeps saying ‘just fling, no commitment’ but I felt that wasn’t what he really wanted with her. I liked that they just didn’t jump into bed together on the first day but took some times to know each-other. But when they finally start having sex, problem arises. Samantha discovers she’s becoming addicted to ‘her P.I’, as she starts calling Gabe affectionately (which I really liked BTW). And why won’t she? I found Gabe not only sexy and handsome with dark hair and silver eyes but also intelligent, caring and understanding. Bonus point, he has a wicked sense of humor too. A total package a girl could only wish for! It was also apparent that even though, he tried to stay neutral and enjoy whatever they have to offer to each-other, Gabe is not at all a player without substance. He seriously begins caring for Samantha and saves her a couple of times from danger because he had prior information.
Kendra and Samantha engage in their own sexual escapades quite a few times in the story. Even when Samantha and Gabe were sleeping together, she had couldn’t let her itch for Kendra go. Kendra only fueled that thing because she was always a willing participant. I actually knew to expect of the F/F interactions but I thought it’s something random and wouldn’t be mentioned once Samantha is with Gabe. But it didn’t. And I didn’t like it. Gabe knew about it, and becomes jealous of this relationship to some extent. Umm Samantha, when you have a hunk like Gabe on your beck and call, how can you obsess over Kendra’s various body parts? If this was a straight-out lesbian thing, I would see the point but here, I simply don’t. Sorry. I was bummed every time Kendra and Samantha were rubbing on each-other and more. F/F interactions never turn me on and I found myself skimming the pages with Kendra and Samantha and that’s quite a bit of the story, almost 2/3rds of it.
When the danger escalates as the threats from that gang begins to become way too obvious. Gabe proposes that he, Samantha and Kendra leave for a remote area in New Zealand on a hideout, until he figures out what to do next. This turns into a sexual escapade too. Between Samantha and Gabe, oh sure (which I expected)! Also, one time between all three of them because Gabe and Samantha made this vague promise to Kendra about a ménage-a-trois so that she stops making scenes for being locked inside the house under surveillance. *eyeroll* I didn’t think this part in the story was really necessary. I just shook my head when Gabe tells Samantha that she’s his and he won’t share her with Kendra anymore (poor babe!). So, this will be the last time she’ll take part in anything sexual with her; in this ménage. Umm. Ok. I also skipped this because it was M/F/F. I don’t read many stories with ménage but I prefer ménage with M/F/M.
Besides, I couldn’t help thinking that after this indulgence would Gabe and Samantha be able to manage a straight M/F relationship?
Samantha already knew that Gabe is rich and has come to learn more about him ever since; that he and Tristan works for the Cross Enterprises, which is a big company in every way. Work is Gabe’s life more or less. But his business with this gang is not something new. One day, a bit out of the blue, Samantha discovers that Gabe has a wife…. Or had a wife, to be precise. She’s mad that Gabe never told her something this important. But he assures her that he’s not married anymore. When he doesn’t elaborate much, Samantha gets to know from Kendra (who was also the one to break that news to her) that Gabe’s wife died some years ago. It was a premeditated murder by this same gang. Gabe still feels guilty over her death because he couldn’t get there in time to save her… Kendra also tells Samantha that Gabe’s was a love match. This depresses Samantha who has come to care for Gabe deeply. And she knows if she delves even deeper, she’ll know ‘the truth’; that she’s already fallen in love with her P.I.
At this point, Samantha does something idiotic. I was always pretty suspicious of Kendra’s motives, she being a druggie and all that. Then she pursues Samantha to do something on her behalf since she herself can’t go out (Gabe has put a tracking device on her). It made me annoyed that Samantha gave in so easily, even when she knew there was danger involved and that Gabe won’t be happy about it at all.
Yep, she gets herself into big danger and thanks to the bracelet aka tracking device that Gabe gave her, he was able to rescue her yet once again. On that scene, we also meet the sexy Tristan, who made some vague notions about Gabe sharing Samantha with him but backed off seeing the truth on Gabe’s face; that he’d never share her with Tristan, or anyone else for that matter. Everything he did since the beginning only proved that he also cares deeply for Samantha as well. I totally adored this guy, seriously. I don’t know how Samantha let Kendra manipulate her that way.
Totally loved how, instead of being angry with her, Gabe takes care of this with a beautiful gesture; all to tell her to put her trust in him. I’m glad that she saw what a gem she’d found in Gabe and they were able to sort everything out at the end. When Samantha’s life is put in danger (again), Gabe had no trouble recognizing the finality of his own feelings for her.
But be warned!! This story ends on a big cliffhanger.
When I started Dazzled By Silver, I didn’t know it was connected to the new Layers Trilogy in any way. So if you’ve finished with this, you’d want to start Layers Deep, which is Tristan’s story, right away. I’m off to read that now. 3.75 stars.
I was given this ARC thru netgalley in exchange of an honest review (as requested by the author). I’d like to thank her for it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Two🐺👸 for One💃 This is a Well written and edited book, but I found the plot unbelievable and the relationship between the three main characters didn't make me very interested in their problems. Would have been better with a lot more story and less sex.
In The beginning, where the character Samantha💃💔 loses the love of her life to leukemia was the best part off the entire book. THAT was emotional and wonderful and sad. The Author used this part of Sam's life to try to shape all the rest of her life into a woman afraid to have an emotion💔.
The male character, Gabe🐺🍆🌋 has an even more horrific tale of personal loss, yet he seems ready to try to 💘love again. His business as a PI, gives him many business opportunities to save people, something he was not able to do in his personal life.
The third character was Kendra👸, a lost 💉drug addled soul who never loved anyone and is willing to have sex with both men and women. She draws in Samantha💃, her only friend, into a ff sexual one night stand.
To me, the character of Kendra👸 was a third wheel, but her 💉drug and 💰money problems are what gives the book📙 it's story.
The book📙 has f2f sexual scenes and fmf scenes. I guess you could call it erotica. At least the book📙 has a story and a plot, I just found it pure fantasy.🐲 Adults Only!
The book ends in a cliffhanger. Its Another negative for me and a manipulative tactic by any author that employs them.
I thought it was slightly familiar but it wasn’t until about 64% that I was sure I had read it before. It wasn’t memorable enough. The writing was alright, it could use some editing. At the beginning of a paragraph something happened a week earlier, but at the end of the paragraph is was a memorable night last night. Ugh
Lots of drama, sex, and some story line. I’m not interested in more of the story.
The first book, Dazzled is what has me hooked me on this series. We are introduced to Gabe & Sam, you could tell they were meant to be from the beginning. The first quote that had me giggling to death was said by Sam:
“I’ll give him a tip if he can make my orgasm last longer than a swallow”
This book gives you sizzling hot scenes, from girl on girl action to getting down and dirty with Gabe. Which make you wiggle in your seat just a bit to get warmed up. This book keep me on the edge the whole time. Gabe had lost his wife to bad guys in the past. So he fights to stop the bad guys so “History won’t repeat itself”. Will Gabe give in to his heart desires and actually want Sam to be apart of his life? Will Sam admit her feeling for Gabe?
The next book Layers Deep, was about Allie & Tristan. Allie is a cop that is looking for revenge in a man that kept her and her mother scared for their lives all of their life. Then A Job opportunity comes up with Tristan’s Company and she was persuaded by Tristan into taking the job. Tristan is a brilliant man that knows everything about everything. He is a true Knight in shinning armor! Strong and very sexy as well. Allie is very strong and confident women. Instantly feels connected to Tristan. Then this book leaves you hanging and you must move to the next Which is Layers Peeled. Reviewed Together Tge Trilogy This is a continuous book about Tristan & Allie. I loved both of these book love story makes you want to yell at Tristan to grab a hold of Allie and never let go. This one showed more of who was responsible for the horror of Allie’s mom’s past and which caused her and her mom to move around a lot. Book 3 Made me exhale because it didn’t leave you hanging. It also offered tons of Heat, Romance, and Super sweet scenes. So is Tristan going to Be with Allie. Or will Allie’s past end up a deadly scene for her?
The 4th book in the Series is Layers Off. This story is about Julian (Tristan’s Older brother) and Kendra. Kendra past month before she was rescued was beyond traumatic. Plus to try to move pass her pass addictions. Can she truly ever recover from something so horrible. Julian has loved Kendra all her life. Even when she dated Tristan (which tore Julian’s heart out). Now he is trying to love and help her regain the women he fell in love with. I was constantly Cheering for Kendra to get better. She has truly always loved Julian but telling him is a different story. Will They get their Happily Ever After either? Julian was introduced in book 1. Instantly I loved his character. He was flirty with Allie. Will Julian win Kendra’s heart? Or Will Kendra end up repeating her past mistakes?
All 4 books offer you Romance, Tons of Suspense, Drama and Sizzling Hot sexy scenes. Tristan is my favorites in all the books!! He is super yummy and how can you resist persistence! Book .05 & Book 1 Leave you Hanging … So make sure you buy the full Series so your not left hanging
Fantastic read. We start with the zap of chemistry between Samantha Connor and Gabriel Silver. Gabe is a mystery to Sam. She first met him when she went to her friend Kendra's opening night of her new club called 'Kissed'.
This was also the night that Sam & Kendra had their own little sex scene. Great to have a bit of girl on girl action. They are not gay, but the attraction is so strong that they have their moment of lust fulfilled. Wonderfully written, came across very hot.
At first Sam thinks that Gabe is the bartender, but then when we go further on and they start to get to know each other, Sam finds out he Private Investigator. Both of them have had heartbreak and both are not looking for love. Sam is quite happy with the thought of a one night stand and of course Gabe being male is up for this to.
Yeh right, we can feel the chemistry leaping from the pages. We follow along while Gabe who is actually running a secret service type agency. He is investigating a drug cartel. The story is more involved than we first think. The history between him and the Drug lords goes way back.
Kendra is in a load of trouble and it is now starting to threaten the safety of Sam, who he has started to care deeply for. This one night stand is turning into a fantastic, passionate, hot & steamy full blown affair/relationship. No matter how many times they both say it's not serious, they are both hooked.
We get an adventure, the bad guys are chasing, the love scenes are scorching and the romance is growing into love. We get the thrill of lives being threatened, fantastic erotic sex scenes and the introduction to the focus of the next book. Sexy women, hotter than hot men and another alpha male hero to place up there with all the others.
If you are into passion, sexy alpha men, hotter than hot sex, adventure, romance, love then this story is for you. If not then why are you reading my review?
Total and utter BUNK!!! This story left me speechless...Not because it was good, but because it was absolutely horrific. It was all over the place. A case of trying too hard and failing miserably. It tried to be erotica, romance, suspense, and drama with no plot, no climax, and nowhere to hide the steaming doggie-doo it turned out to be. It's filled with cheap, unimaginative sex. Since this was the prequel, I will stop here and read no further. The characters were poorly written and one-dimensional. The biggest thing that's missing from this take....Focus.
Thank God this was an Amazon freebie, so I can delete it and forget it. 0.2 stars.
This book was not at all what I expected. The opening chapters go in depth highlighting a sexual scene with the main character and her best friend. The rest of the book describes a three some but mainly sticks describing sexual activities between Sam (main character) and Gabe. The development of there relationship is unrealistic and at times ridiculous. In a matter of weeks the couple goes from sex with no strings to engaged. Hmm... Ok. The plot was just ridiculous. To be honest, I'm surprised I finished the book.
O.o Already.. I gotta take a break from this Trilogy set... This one was just lacking... alot of somethings' for me. Maybe book 1 &2 will be better. But I need to step away for a bit, before returning to this Author's style of writing.
I needed a quick read to get out of a funk—this one worked (I hope) because it was short, steamy, and had a decent plot.
Was it the best book I’ve ever read? Nope. But it was exactly what I needed and because of that, 3-stars feels fair.
There’s a little confusion when I started reading, unsure if the narrator is male or female, but that was cleared quick enough (I mean, clenching isn’t really a guy thing). I enjoyed the exploration between the female characters as well as the development between Sam and Gabe.
I will admit, Gabe comes off as a little too protective right off the bat—it makes him seem more like a stalker than a love interest.
There is a fair amount of cheese in the dialog, clichés we’ve all heard a million times in a million different ways…but, the suspense element was intriguing enough that I may actually pick up the series and read it. I would’ve liked a little more back story on Gabe’s past, and because Kendra and Tristan felt like more than just side characters in this story, I would’ve liked to hear a little more about their history too (I guess that’s where book one comes in). Also, Kendra and Sam’s history…that storyline seems quite interesting as well.
Overall, good story. Easy, quick read. Part of me is glad I waited so long to pick it up, but the other part of me wishes it was sooner so I could move right into the series as it released (that is, after all, part of the fun of reading…the anticipation).
I wanted to give it up after the second chapter, but I held out because (#1) I don’t like to quit books and (#2) I kept hoping it would get better. Let me ease your suspense a little bit:
It didn’t get better.
The main female character was so wishy/washy with what she wanted out of life. Sam and Gabe fell in love within what, 2 weeks? He asked her to marry him before they even technically went out on a date. Come. On. That’s just not realistic. I understand it’s a story & it’s all make believe, but I just couldn’t wrap my head around the story in this book. If you even call what was going on a story.
The metaphors in this book, don’t even get me started. The ways the main female described what was happening to her body would never come out of someone’s mouth or go through their head. Ever. In a million years.
Oh and don’t even get me started on the fact that on 1 sentence the housekeepers name was “Carla” and in the next, it was “Clara”. The spelling and punctuation marks were atrocious.
You want me to believe that in the beginning of the chapter, Gabe was all alpha “no one else will ever touch you! You belong to me!!!” And then Sam mentions 1 things about wanting Kendra again and suddenly Gabe is all “fine but you only get this one time” 🙄
This was certainly so much fun with Samantha and our possessive and hot Gabriel. Start of the book and it gets 🔥🔥🔥 but then the book is so much more. There's danger, thrill and action, too. There's just an instant connection and chemistry between Samantha and Gabriel. He's tenacious that's for sure when it comes to Samantha. There's this thrill of the unknown between them. Until they give into their connection. But danger lurks around as Sam's friend is involved into something. But Gabriel takes it upon himself to protect her at any cost. Thus begins their adventure until they are safe. Also Sam is super curious having being with her friend initially but Gabriel is unwilling to share her with anyone let that even be her female friend. But he gives her just once and that scene is definitely fire. I loved that ending, it was so fast paced and I was so scared as to what was gonna next. Loved Gabriel and Sam. ❤️❤️
I truly enjoyed reading this Book. Gabriel Silver & Samantha Connor's Story was Good. I just wished the Story was longer in the sense that they were together longer. How can someone fall in Love with another without truly knowing their partner? Seriously, in the 3 weeks Samantha Connor was with Gabriel Silver all they did was have sex. I can see they were infatuated & Lustful of each other but Love? This is 1 of the reasons I don't care for CRN. The relationships the Characters have are within 1 - 3 weeks time. Not really realistic.
maybe this would have read better if I had started with the trilogy and went to the prequel afterwards? somehow I doubt it. I've read a lot of bad smut, and granted this was good enough to finish, but I think I was due to morbid fascination, rather than any desire to know what happened. not going to read the rest of the series, even though I bought the whole series. it would have to get orders of magnitude better for it to be worthwhile.
