MADDIE AND JASMINE will take off beyond the sea and stars. This is such a sweet children's picture book about the main character, Maddie, being bullied by some of her peers. She goes on a journey of self-discovery in finding what matters. During this journey, she gets the idea to search for a pet in an animal shelter. This wonderful book for children of all ages, will stay with readers, long after many readings.

I can't wait to purchase and share this book with my grandchildren and other young relatives. I also look forward to reading future books from this series by Sherry Dunn.

"Maddie and Jasmine" is a sweet story about two outsiders who find happiness in each other's company. In this case, Maddie is a little girl who never gets picked for anything and who is teased by her peers. Jasmine is a somewhat scrawny-looking cat who greets Maddie with a purr as she places her paw on Maddie's arm. It's love at first sight for these two, a satisfying ending to a lovely story.
