When I first started reading this book I wasn't too sure if I would continue and read the whole thing. The first chapter or two the author keeps saying how lots of us don’t know what to do with our 401ks and that he is going to teach us all about 401ks. I wished he would just get to it and tell us about it, instead of saying that he was going to tell us about it. I stuck with it though, and was glad I did. I would consider this a 401K book for people who know absolutely nothing about 401ks. This book really dumbs its down for you. The way he spelled everything out about the stock markets really stuck with me. I wish it went a little deeper into the details, but it doesn’t hurt to get the basics down first and then move to the details later. There are books referenced for further reading at the end of the book. After When I first started reading this book I wasn't too sure if I would cont

This is a great book for someone like myself who knows nothing about the stock market and investment world. I appreciate the very straightforward and clear language the author uses to explain the basic terms and rundown of how the market works. I feel that I know more about what I should do with my 401k but still have some questions and am in need of some guidance. I am still overwhelmed by the sight of my 401k statement. I have even re-read the book and took notes to refer to so I can remember what the terms mean. The author does provide a list of recommended readings in the back of the book that I intend to look into. So, overall I think this is a great starter book that is easy to read, short and quite helpful. The book has inspired me to seek more information and continue educating myself in regards to my financial future.
