Intro to ADHD not a guide.

More words about ADHD than anything else, which makes sense because it is a key word in the tilte.
A lot of information to understand why we can't get organized.
The a guide? I'm not convinced yet. I expected a step by step tool on what to do, not just take a picture, set up a timer, think positive, self-affirmations, etc.

I already do all of the above, but when I see what needs to be organized, none of it helps to take one item at the time and figure out what to do with it. Then, another item, and another, and another, but then what? I have no idea. I just pick them all up and put them back into any box, and leave the organizing project until I find another source for real organizing help.

As an ADHD-er, I appreciated the fact that this book was short. However, I did not feel like I gained insightful knowledge through reading. Most of the tips that this book gave were ones that I was already aware of and practice. If you think this book would be helpful, you can get away with reading just the chapter summaries at the end of each one as it is the condensed version of what each chapter suggests.

This was harder to get through than the previous 2 in the series and felt like a big to-do list that I’ll forget about.

Very useful tips

I recommend this book, as it is well written and gives a practical and realistic view of the pitfalls of the challenges faced with this neurological disorder.
