I found this book at a local ACMoore or maybe a Michaels (Can’t rmemeber which). And since I’m a sucker for little crafts and using up remnants, and since I had a coupon, I snatched it up.

I absolutely love it.

I’ve made two of the little critters so far (a fish, and a cat) but I crochet them, using the same basic body and shaping methods. I want to knit the ninja for my sister and the bowling set for my mom.

The characters and toys are adorable and enchanting. Each one is photographed and adorably named (Nitro Ninja, Olive-sized Owl, Weensy Woodland Friend, etc) and the patterns are really easy to follow.

Got several ideas for things I would like to try but not sure my knitting skills are up to challenge.

Very cute patterns that can be easily customised to give you even more possibilities. I always have scraps of yarn leftover, so that was what drew my attention to this book. My only complaint is that all the patterns are laid out using the Magic Loop Method, which is something I've actually never done. However, I consider myself to be a seasoned knitter, and the book comes with the links to the author's online video tutorials, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Really clever book with endless possibilities. The book is separated in basic body types and then she shows you multiple variations one what you can do with each. With just a little imagination, you could create anything you were looking for. As a bonus, the whole book is a stashbuster - far more accessible than a stashbusting blanket.

Patterns written for magic loop method. Would have been nice for translation into double-points.
