I love these novellas!! Scarlett and Camilla, a sapphic shifter romance?! SIGN ME UP! I loved this pair so much. Scarlett is a female Alpha, while Camilla is a female omega. The lack of experience on both when they come together is really refreshing. I loved that they could learn together.
Scarlett’s personality shone a so bright. I felt like I connected with her really well. Strong and tough, accepted as a member of the hunting party, a sought after spot, until she’s not, and a few of the boys really rib her. She stands her ground, and doesn’t take give their efforts even a little of her attention, but she feels it. That really resonated with me. It felt like, Scarlett is aware of how awesome she is, but would it just be easier for everyone if she were different? Heck no! You’re an absolute QUEEN Scarlett!!
Camilla is younger than Scarlett, so they decided to take their fated mates relationship slow, and that was such a nice change from the usual aspects of the trope. They didn’t immediately change their entire lives for each other. They grew as a couple, and became something strong together. Just beautiful.
Of course, Elle has to throw in a little heartbreak for us with this one, because of course she did. I held my breath for a few dozen pages, a tear leaking out here and there. It was obviously well done, as Elle has been known to do.
In the end, I absolutely LOVED this one!! It’s so full of love, and perfectly spicy 👀 Another home run for me!!

I love The Cypress Ridge novellas, they are short reads and I read this in one go. Needless to say, I was very interested to read about Camilla and Scarlett. A shifter, sapphic love story, sign me up! 🩷

While the Cypress Ridge novellas may be short, there’s plenty of room for fun characters, a world that is described in a way that makes me want to live there and plenty of spice. I really like how all the novellas are connected and how some of the main characters from other books make an appearance.

I won’t spoil the story for you, you just need to get into these novellas.

This was such a good book I loved it!! I really love the whole series and would give it all 20 out of 5 stars lol. I really enjoyed this Saphic love story of Scarlett and Camilla. I also like the age gap and the grumpy sunshine theme going on with these two. They are a cute couple. My heart drop when the tree fell on Scarlett and Stager made it seem that she dies. I was mentally yelling DONT YOU DARE Lol this series have been one of my favorite to go through ^_^

I love this series the more I keep reading. Camilla and Scarlets story is endearing and just as cute as the others! The way book 5 ended had me SHOOK. I was so worried about what happened to Camilla and where Scarlet was that I couldn’t WAIT to jump into this one as soon as I received it.

Scarlet is the lone female Alpha in the Cypress Ridge Pack so she knows she’s different, but she also feels it on a deeper level. She doesn’t wear her hair long like Female Alphas normally do and she dress more androgynous than feminine cause it just feels right. With Omegas being so rare and no one catching her eye, she assumes she’ll be alone forever. That is until Alpha Maya and her sister Omega Camilla come to town…..then her entire world is turned upside down. Omega Camilla is her mate, but she ignores her? Scarlets unsure if it’s because she too is female or maybe Camilla just doesn’t like her? While Camilla is navigating being in a new pack, experiencing her first attraction to ANYONE, realizing that attraction is to her MATE, and trying to figure out a way to tell her older very protective Alpha sister all this….while she is also newly mated. Book 6 is a sweet look at the way these two navigate their different worlds and expectations and ultimately learn to just trust that everything will be alright.
