Quarterback: MM Nerd Jock Short Story
Grading the nerd on how he kisses? Easy. Or so I think.
I am a jock. The star quarterback of college with his scholarship on the line. The last thing I need is for a nerd to distract me. Okay, no. The last thing is another guy to distract me.
There's something about Ben and his innocence, though. He's cute. It wouldn't be a bad thing to show him how to kiss. Help the scrawny nerd get his confidence. Maybe then he would stop looking at me with those puppy eyes.
But when he tries to prove a point, and his fiery kisses are tearing me apart everything turns upside down. This is wrong. I shouldn’t be begging to pin the nerd’s quivering body to the wall. But man, it feels so right. No, I can't get ideas in my head. Damn, though. I just want to be near him.

Blake has worked very hard to earn a football scholarship.
Currently attending college, Blake is large and muscular.
But he’s been partying too much, and a vindictive professor is out to get him.
Ben is a skinny nerd. He’s trying to help Blake out with some difficult assignments.
Blake is also attempting to come to terms with his attraction to Ben. We quickly learn that this is hardly Blake’s first same-sex attraction; he’s just been swimming in Da Nile.
Studying in the library. Kissing lessons soon lead to…more.
Conflicted feelings. Doubts. And insecurities.
The football game. The injury.
Nice dirty talk.
Shockingly goes to so much cuteness.
Ben, the shy nerd who finds the means to voice his desires…and who he’s always had a crush on.
Very questionable condom usage. Some typographical errors also detract. Action could use more descriptive detail.
Gay awakening/realization done well.
Sweet ending. Somewhere between HFN and HEA.
He growled. Every single part of Ben was going to be his. His to love and care for.

eh. Written from a third person perspective. Could have been more. Typos that irritated me and made parts hard to read. Storyline was decent. Steam was ok, kind of like flashes of it instead of a continual arc.
