Catch my gaze means your eyes better always find mine. Isn’t that what you told me? Regardless, if we’re beefing or we’re good, it should always apply. It’s a symbol of our bond. If you can’t respect that, how can you respect me?

Kellz Kimberly 24, fell in love with urban fiction after reading 'Baby Girl' by Jihad. The was only the first of many urban fiction novels she fell in love with. Eventually Kellz took her love for reading it and redirected it to a pen & paper. Dropping her first book in 2014 Kellz Kimberly has been building a name for herself ever since. With 27 books under her belt & 9 of them being Amazon Urban Fiction Number One Best Seller, Kellz Kimberly is just getting started.
She is slowly but surly taking the Urban fiction world over by storm. She recently took home the AAMBC BreakOut Author of The Year award, solidifying her as a force to be reckon with. This is only the start for Kellz Kimberly, she is always working and coming with new material to give readers then same feeling she got when she read her first urban fiction book.
Not only is she an author but she is a publisher as well. She works with her authors to help them pursue their dreams and encourages them to tell their story in a form of another story.
At only 24 she has accomplished a lot but she's nowhere near done with her list of goals. For her writing is so much more than just telling a story. It's about being able to have a reader full in love with a set of characters so much that they feel invested in the book. For her that is the greatest feeling of.
The best way to sum up Kellz Kimberly is 'She Writes, She Grinds, She Slays"
Loved getting more acquainted with both Divine and Mo. They both have fears and insecurities, but the love they share is fierce and cannot be denied! Looking forward to more of their story. 👍👍👍
The bonus scenes gave me exactly what the main book was missing. Where the story originally ended on a big cliffhanger, the epilogue tied Mo and Divine’s arc together in a way that felt satisfying. Their relationship finally came in for a landing, even if the larger business problems and shady moves from the brother are still unresolved.
I loved these two so much that I hope they don’t get sidelined in book 2. I know the focus will shift, but they deserve a strong resurgence because their story is what kept me dialed in.
The typos were still noticeable, but the characters and storyline once again outweighed the distractions. A solid 4 stars.
I am recanting my first review and simply say, people if you do not get this book/series, you are missing out. It’s that good specially with this 2nd book that could actually be portrayed as a very LONG epilogue. Thank you MS. Kimberly. I am definitely going to be binging your catalog and you just got another follower.
I feel like this book went quicker than the first one lol. I loved it but I was a bit confused because it didn’t start where the first book ended. So many questions.
What happened to brim? Is D’Aire alive. Did he find out bout their sister?
This definitely could’ve been an epilogue in the first book. It was pretty much a waste of time for me. But I guess, I didn’t see bonus scenes in the title I just saw book 2 and DL it.
Nice way to play catch up!!!…I’m happy for Mo and Divine!!!…Kioni needs someone to entertain her!!!..Nana Remy and Devout are definitely going to encourage and spot their minds!!!…I hope Jodi finds her a piece of happiness too!!..
I loved the bonus scene! Before reading it, I wondered if it was necessary but it definitely was!! It really solidified what they felt for one another.
