4.5 stars 🌟.
An entertaining read. I have new respect for Army Wives and Girlfriends now. This was a mildly emotional read with depth. I loved the characterization. The baby was adorable. Even though I didn’t like Cameron’s immaturity, I felt for him in the end. But I’m happy that everything fell into its places.
Recommended.

This was quite a sweet read. I loved Radley and Olivia and thought they made a wonderfully sweet couple. I didn't care at all for Radley's brother, Major Cameron Knight, who was the biological father of Olivia's baby. He wanted nothing to do with either of them and decided not to take responsibility for his child nor the mother of that child. Unfortunately, I strongly disliked Cameron so therefore I also had a problem with the next book in this series, 'The Army Doctor's Wedding' which is Cameron's story. That book I could not get into.
I highly recommend this story as the hero was such a loving, sweet and caring man. Olivia was perfect for him and I loved how he loved her baby as his own. That takes a real man!

I have always been a sucker for a good military romance. This book was a pleasure to read. I've had it on my wish list for awhile, and I'm glad I bought it. I'm hesitant when it comes to the books for .99 cents. Most of the time the books for that price is not the paper they are written on, and I walk away feeling cheated. This book was nothing like that. It left me with a smile.
Olivia, and Cameron dated in college. He left her behind when he went into the military. He did not believe the baby was his when she told him she was pregnant. Olivia had a hard pregnancy, and delivery. It was Cameron's parents that stood by her, and gave her a place to stay.
Radley, Cameron's bother, came home for leave, the military's word for vacation. He was shocked, and surprised to see a stranger, a young mother breast feeding her child in his parents' home. Olivia was not able to lift anything including her own child, because of healing from the c section. Radley and Olivia got close with Radley helping out with the baby. Radley feel in love with this beautiful young mother, and her baby boy. She also feel in love with him. She realized what she thought was love with Cameron, was not love at all. She knew he would never grow up. It was with Radley that she found true love.
I know this review sounds strange with brothers, but the story flowed smoothly, and told a wonderful story. Sometimes you find love the second time around. What if the second time around is with your ex's brother. One brother will never grow up, and the other brother is always there for you. The parents loved and accepted her into the family. They were happy to have their first grandchild, and happy to have a daughter in law, no matter how it happened.

I recommend this book.
I enjoyed this book by Helen. This book includes passion, laughs, heartache, and sweet romance.
After returning from Afghanistan he finds Olivia, his brother’s ex-girlfriend, holding a baby in his parents’ house. He is wondering what she is doing there. Does she want the family to support her? Is the baby really Cameron’s and how can they be sure without a DNA test as Cameron told him there was no way the baby was his. He calls Cameron to find out if the baby could be his. Cameron states maybe it could be. Radley tells him to get home and take care of the baby and Olivia.
As Radley gets to know Olivia over the next few weeks he realizes that she is a beautiful woman inside and out. That she was not trying to trap Cameron. Radley and Olivia fall in love. Radley also loves the baby “George” named after Cameron and Radley’s father. Now after weeks of no word Cameron is on his way home to see the baby. Will Olivia go back to Cameron when he returns home?
Radley goes away for the time Cameron is home but while away he gets called back to Afghanistan. What will Olivia think with him gone and only a few text’s every once in a while stating I Love You. Will she believe that they can be together or will she lose faith in him since he is gone?

Contemporary English romance about an abandoned pregnant law student gets taken in by the family of the soldier that knocked her up only to fall in love with the oldest brother who was horribly rejected by his first wife when she had the baby of her lover. Wow. That was complicated alhtough it made sense when you read this cute clean story about two people that want love but have only been abandoned by the people that they had dated/married in the past. Doctor Major Radley Knight is hurting even five years since his divorce so when the ready-made family moved into the room next door, it is all too easy to start dreaming and making plans. Miss Olivia and her sweet baby George are in the middle of transition as she finishes her law degree and heals from a difficult birth. Radley is everything that her ex-boyfriend (his brother) should be to the vulnerable young mother. Cameron was a total young selfish jerk and didn't deserve Olivia's second chance so I'm glad she stuck with the solid and dependable Radley, even when he sort of disappears for a while.

I must admit that I’m a sucker for military romances. So when I saw this book, I was excited to read it.
To start off, ih ave to say that this is a novella. I always get nervous reading novellas because they can feel rushed. Helen Scott Taylor did a good job of making me care about the characters with such a short book. I really liked Radley. We got some info about Rad’s past and it made my heart break for him. Even though we never met his ex, I hated her. I just kept hoping that he wasn’t going to go through that again. I also liked, and respected Olivia. She was a strong woman that was doing everything she could to provide for her son. And the scenes between Rad and little George were just adorable.
I found this book to be really enjoyable. It was a sweet, fluffy romance with no angst or dark hidden secrets. It was a nice change of pace compared to everything else out there.

This story started my love affair with this series. Bradley knows he's in love with Olivia but tries to hold back as she's his brothers ex and the father of her baby. True love prevails tough and these two get together only for the army to separate them for a time. Beautiful story that I would totally recommend.

This was a great short story. Usually when I read short stories I get saddened because the authors don’t put enough into the story and it just stops. Helen however did amazing! I was happy with how it ended and knew that any questions I had would most likely be answered in the next book.
Radley comes home from war and couldn’t be happier to be back where there is peace and quiet. That is until he hears a wailing sound—it’s not a cat or a dog—is that a baby?! Radley sees Olivia through the doorway and is struck by her beauty. Who is this woman and where did she come from? More importantly why is she there with a baby? Watching Radley get to know Olivia and baby George is so sweet and heartwarming.
Olivia is living with the Knight’s while she is recuperating from her emergency C-section, which I feel the author could have gone into more detail as to why one was needed as I am curious what caused this. She is such a sweet woman who was wronged by Radley’s brother Cameron. I loved seeing how she interacted with Sharon (Radley’s mom) and Radley.
I was very happy that I got the chance to read this book. It was a short, sweet read and I can’t wait for the next book!

I found this gem of a story when I was playing on Amazon and I was drawn in. The title alone caught my attention. I love military romances in general. This one is actually set in the UK, which was different for me, but still I loved it.
I truly enjoyed the hero and the heroine. It is amazing that in such a short time someone can fall in love with someone else and to have it be reciprocated is something that I dream about having, but haven't found that yet. This story was different in that the father of the baby is the hero's brother. The brother, well, I don't like him, even though he *tried* to redeem himself. In my eyes, he didn't.

Olivia needs help and the father of her baby has refused to contact her believing the baby's not his. But when his mother takes her in, just before Radley the brother of the baby's father an army doctor returns home from Afghanistan on leave, he soon comes to see that Olivia isn't the deceitful dishonest woman he tarred and feathered her to be. That was his ex-wife, and Radley soon regrets how he encouraged his brother to ignore her. As Radley helps her and the baby, he soon discovers that Olivia is the woman he's been looking for and her baby, his nephew, is the child he's always wanted. This is a sweet romance with a wonderful happily ever after. Highly recommend this read!

The Army Doctor's Baby by Helen Scott Taylor is an easy shorter read. The characters are believable and well defined. It starts with Olivia being helped by her exboyfriend's parents when she was pregnant with Sandra and Brig. Gen. Knights grandson. Their son Cameron fled and refused to talk to her. Cameron's brother Radley helps her since Olivia had emergency surgery when she had the baby George. Radley gradually falls in love with George and Olivia. How will he handle his brother who wants to be a father with nothing to do with Olivia. Sandra already loves them too. How well does Georgie Pottier endear himself with all the adults in his life?

The story is set in the UK, with British characters and most of the time the language is as you would expect, e.g. the characters using mum instead of mom. Yet every so often Americanisms crept in and it jarred. For example, having the grandmother talk about changing diapers instead of nappies and using stroller instead of buggy.
Unfortunately it grated enough that I dropped the rating from 3 to 2 stars.

The Army Doctor's Baby by Helen Scott Taylor is a nice romantic read.
It's a short story and you can easily read it in one setting.
The story has some great characters and if you like reading classic romance stories this one is a good one.
It's my first book by this author but I'll be picking up another one of her books very soon.

Even if this is good story about acceptance and loving another person unconditionally, it still doesn't sit well with me when the male lead marries the female lead who is a single mother and a former flame of the male lead's brother or best friend. It was like receiving and settling for hand-me-downs. I wouldn't mind if the female lead got pregnant by another guy who was not related to the male lead, but someone close to him? I find it between awkward and unsettling, probably even disgusted.

I wish I could have given this book more stars. The book and story line were good but the ending just left everything hanging so I'd have to purchase another book. I hate that.

This was a wonderful book. The first I've read of Helen Scott Taylor. Well worth taking the time to read it and I'm looking forward to reading more of her books. This is the 3rd book in the Sweet Christmas Kisses collection.

It was an okay story, it's too bad that Cameron couldn't get it together and be a man and the father of the baby. However his brother Radley was pretty awesome!
