What a strange, morbid, and beautiful collection. I met the author and got this book for a great deal at Midwest Press Festival in Milwaukee, WI. The stories are full of unusual and at time grotesque fables. I highly recommend to lovers of animals in literature, to fans of the macabre, and magical realism.
