At the end of Hawthorn Close, there is a charming park which boasts two magnificent magnolia trees, and an assortment of houses and apartments. As part of the local council's commitment to a more diverse tenancy in the area, several new occupants are moving into the neighbourhood. Amongst them is Brett, a former foster child; Natalie, who is escaping an abusive ex-partner; and recently widowed Reid who, at 75, is trying to find happiness again. From the cottages and farms to the local shop, pub and old manor house, residents' lives are set to intertwine, relationships bloom and both romance and heartache lie ahead.

Anna reads 3 novels a week. Happy reading, everyone.
Another good solid story! yet the words thumping and capturing continue!! Dictionaries are there to give us alternative words yet Anna chooses to use those same two words in every book!?? Thumping or Capture.. Why? I personally find those repetitive words totally distracts me from her great stories… it’s such a shame for me anyway. Does anyone else agree?
I challenge Goodreads to have a no prize competition including five or more authors with short exerts from one of their books.. I reckon I could easily pick Anna’s books from the others! What say you Goodreads ?
Love Anna Jacob’s books such realistic writing. Once I pic them up I find it very hard to put down. Magnolia Gardens so true to some people’s life with such encouragement, to turn your life around.
Yet another story I couldn’t stop reading. Anna Jacobs books are now my favourite read. Each book has brilliant stories of people’s lives, troubles and happy endings.
Good afternoon Everyone, I am going to do a couple of reviews the first one is Magnolia Gardens 3rd book in the Larch Tree Lane Series by Anna Jacobs ......this story is about a charming park that has 2 gorgeous Magnolia Trees that everyone comes to love there are some new units that have been especially built for people in desperate situations that don't have anywhere else to go and their is a trust to help them get back on the feet and try and move on .........there is so much more to this story but I will let you enjoy this book a real page turner I didn't want to put it down or for it to end ......so you know what to do ........enjoy😀
Really enjoyed this book, I loved how all the new residents got to know each other quickly and looked out for one another. I especially liked Brett's story. I was a bit disappointed though to find that the main characters from previous books, weren't in this one. Also, I thought the ending was a bit rushed. All in all though, it was a nice read, it was hard to put down for me. I borrowed this from the library. I think I have a long wait though for the next one in the series, don't think it's being released until later in the year, sadly.
A lovely story about hardships and hope and eventually happiness.
I love reading this author’s books. Within the first few pages it is possible to be hooked on the story, they are all very different but there is always something that ties the story to Anna Jacobs. I am now reading some of the stories for the second time and they get better.
Wow like all of Anna's books this one was a sure fire winner didn't want it to end. I would love to live in a place like magnolia gardens a perfect place 5 STARS
