Enjoy a comical look at Mrs. Claus as she goes through the night sweats, mood swings, and other issues that women of a certain age will identify with. A perfect gift for your moody girlfriends, who all have something in common. .
Bobbie Hinman holds a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and is a former elementary teacher. She has applied her knowledge of children’s literature to the creation of a series of fanciful fairy books that have received 26 children's book awards. Bobbie’s premise is simple - Who better to blame it on than a fairy? •The Fart Fairy is responsible for embarrassing sounds and odors. •The Knot Fairy tangles our hair while we sleep. •The Sock Fairy is responsible for lost and mismatched socks. •The Belly Button Fairy makes sure every child has one belly button and it's "always in the middle". • The Freckle Fairy visits sleeping children and gives them kisses that magically turn into freckles
Highly recommend if you're in the stage of life where most of your Christmas attendees are adults. You can read the story to the adults, instead of having one read to you. Grandma was dying of laughter and Mom was trying not to laugh.
From the very first page, I was rolling over laughing at this story. Mrs. Claus has menopause and Santa is at his wits end! His wife is bouncing off the walls with hot flashes melting snowmen, mood swings that shake the workshop and now the elves are revolting. Remember that this picture book was designed for adults. The pictures have many clever details and there is a great twist surprise at the end. The text contains a few mature words. This picture book is fun for all adult readers ages 17 and older. I am a younger adult and I got a kick out of this book.
This was a Christmas gift from a sonority sister. I highly recommend it as a gift for yourself, sorority sisters, girl friends, female family members or White Elephant gift exchange. The pictures are as funny, vibrant and beautiful as the comedic narrative from the perspective of Mrs. Claus.
I love a children’s book that’s clearly written for an adult!! Poor Mrs Claus…she has menopause. The doctor tells Santa not to worry…it only lasts 10 years! Haha
