“Part of living in the now is doing what’s right in the moment.”
First thing I have to say is that this book was equal parts sweet and fun. I read it so fast I couldn't believe it, and I couldn't stop until I was done with it. I love Jessica's writing and am slowly making my way though her catalog.

“Guy math. One and one equals I’m an idiot.”
Brannon may have an eye for business, but when it comes to matters of the heart he is absolutely clueless. Half the time I was laughing at him, and the other half I wanted to slap him. He is so caught up in living in the moment that he doesn't realize it may just cost him his future. Until someone calls him out on it.

“I don’t think you’re calamari.” *LOL*
Addison is such a great character. She's her own woman and so independent, but she's been lusting after Bran since she first saw him. Not that she would act on it, being professional and all – he's her boss after all. But life has thrown her a curveball in the form of car trouble, and Bran comes to the rescue.

“I do like you, you idiot!”
Once they're out of the office, and spending a weekend away, their mutual attraction kicks in, and ends up lasting a bit longer than just the weekend. But Addison thinks they have a relationship, while Bran is still living in the now. They're definitely not on the same page here, and that almost costs them everything.

"'There is no moving forward without you—not if I ever want to be happy again.'"
Once Brannon (finally) realizes what he may be missing out on, they get their happily ever after. Not a moment too soon.

One Wild Kiss by Jessica Lemmon is the second story in her Kiss and Tell series and features a sexy workplace romance.

Executive assistant Addison Abrams has had a crush on her boss, Brannon Knox for a while but when it seems clear that he’s not going to be interested in her that way, she resolves to put it behind her and move forward. Except just when she’s ready to do that, Bran suddenly starts to pay attention.

When Addison’s car breaks down on the way to a friend’s memorial weekend wake, it’s Bran who comes to the rescue. And with the heightened emotions of the event and Bran playing the part of fake boyfriend it’s easy to slip into a sexy and heated weekend affair. Initially promising to keep it to their time away, being back at home and back at work doesn’t lessen the attraction. But are they ready to make it something more?

I really enjoyed the first in this series, His Forbidden Kiss, which introduced Bran and Addison as secondary characters. You don’t have to read it to enjoy this one, though I recommend it as well. Other people have noticed Addison’s attraction to Bran even if Bran himself is oblivious until it gets pointed out. At that point he has to make up for lost time since Addison is intent on being professional and putting her crush behind her. That all changes with their attendance at the wake weekend, an unusual affair meant to celebrate Addison’s friend Joe’s life with a masquerade ball and other events designed to show people that life is for living. They take full advantage of that and it leads to some passionate love scenes.

Back home, Addison thinks they are on the same page, developing a relationship but Bran is the one who gets cold feet. He has to make it up to her with some epic groveling before they can get their happy ending. I liked the uniqueness of this plot (Joe’s life celebration is epic) and the character growth. It’s an entertaining and enjoyable read.

Who Runs The World? Girls!

This was such a good book! I honestly thought at the start that it just wasn’t going to be for me, that the heroine was going to be meek and a walkover but hoo-boy was I wrong. This was the first M&B book I read where I really saw the woman take control, especially in the bedroom! When they were together she just let herself be free and in charge. The night of the masked ball and the boardroom anyone? I loved that she was fierce and I was so nervous because I could also see what was going on in our hero’s head and I was NOT happy about it. There’s one scene that’s big and important and he just botches it completely, I mean honestly I could’ve strangled him! And the way he continues in the immediate aftermath had me reading in disbelief. However he is not without redemption and I was so happy with the way that the book ended, everything really did happen for a reason! I also cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

An awesome story. In this book wE learn more about Bran and his assistant Addison. When she breaks down on the way to a friend's celebration, Bran comes to the rescue and takes her there where they end up spending time together. Addison was originally going to get over Bran. It does that backfire..when they are back working together Addison decides to take a leap of faith that blows up in her face. Hurt she quits but quickly learns she loves working for ThomKnox so how's back. From there it gets even better. You need to read. I can't wait to read Gia's story..

Both Brannon and Addison were likeable characters who had an attraction to each other, although for Addi it was actually more like love. When the opportunity arises for them to forget they are boss and subordinate and spend the night together, things change. Brannon finds himself wanting more and they agree to continue having sex, but with no strings attached. And everything is fine until one of them decides they want more.

Addison Abrams has been in love with her boss, Bran Knox for the years that she has been working for him. She finally decides to get over him, when she finds out that her best friend Joe has passed away. Bran ends up accompanying her to the celebration of life, and they end up celebrating each other. Overall an enjoyable office place romance.

Second in a series, that can be read as a stand alone. The first gave us a glimpse of both characters, so personally I like having the back story before starting this one. Jessica Lemmon is one of my favorite authors and this one didn’t disappoint. Delightful, quick read. Hot billionaire, personal assistant with a few twists along their journey. Definitely recommend!

I have once again been teased by a masquerade ball and had it be a small part of the over all plot. That being said, this book took some wild rides I was not expecting at all but I also enjoyed them so allow me to give you a more accurate description of what this book is about than the back cover does….

Addison is Brannon’s secretary and has major hots for him. Everyone kinda knows this and is ok with this and Brannon even likes her back but doesn’t want things to get awkward. Addison doesn’t have a lot of friends because she had a falling out with her family awhile back, however her good friend planned a whole weekend getaway in the woods for all his friends and family as a celebration of life for when he passes that Addison needs to go to. Some car trouble causes Addison to ask Brannon to drive her to this getaway and then be her emotional support. There’s a lot of fancy events, pasts to confront and a just because over the top masquerade ball because the dead friend wanted his funeral to be memorable. Seriously the masquerade had zero purpose other than to serve as foreplay for what happens after the ball. Naturally what happens in a resort in the woods…also happens in work place conference rooms afterwards.

I’m writing this review so long after reading this book that I don’t remember why the third act breakup happens but it happens and then Brannon has to make everything right and the epilogue is…well the epilogue didn’t really do it for me but they are happy and that’s all that matters.

One Wild Kiss- Oh my!! Our Brannon Knox who recently wanted and failed to be engaged to Taylor Thompson in order to look like a more serious candidate to become CEO of the THOMKNOX company looks for a fling affair. Enter Addison Abrams his Executive Assistant with great looks and efficient skills…one who has had a mega-crush on him, connects to do more than just business. Did I say that her dream was to be part of a real family. He rescue’s her when her old car breaks down.. getting a good look at his backside without getting caught…and then rescues her again at the funeral of an old friend…one where they had to dress up for Masquerade funeral party and he looks really hot. But..it takes Brannon time to understand he was being short-sited when he thought he was just looking for fling…when what he ended up really wanting was a real fiancé..and that fiancé was Addie. Fun enjoyable read…something we all need more of.
