Being responsible for magical women isn’t just a duty, it’s a pleasure.
Earth might not have magic, but it does have the PlanesWatcher. Born with the power to open portals to other realms, Derrick is chosen by a deity to wage a secret war against an ancient force of entropy. To keep the last remaining worlds safe, he chooses to help a party of beautiful champions empowered by the goddess herself.
But when the realms are suddenly invaded, Derrick must travel between dimensions to find and strengthen the women he’s chosen to protect…using a method only a goddess with a one-track mind could bestow.
Leveling up has never felt better, but will it be enough to prevent the end of all things?
Meh. About what I expected really, but sometimes books like these surprise me. This one didn't. Literally "magic dick", and way more sex than makes any sense. Whatever you're thinking when you see the cover art is likely accurate.
Written for teens. All the onomatopoeia didn't help (like "woosh" or "ratatatatat"). The MC is a bit of a douche so it was hard to care. The dialog was unbelievably unrealistic but that's easy enough to sidestep. The magic(s?) are never explained but basically everything is magic. The journey was still kinda fun so it gets 3 stars.
Conversations are good. Battles are a bit long-winded and boring. MC has to be told by others how to use his skills. I have to force myself to finish this at about 80%. Author’s other book, Cosmic Progeny, is way better.
