Dr. Fethi Mansouri lectures in Middle Eastern Language & Culture Studies at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. He has conducted numerous studies on the learning and teaching of Arabic as a second language, and has also pioneered research on the mental and psychological aspects of learning Arabic. He has published many books on foreign language pedagogy and multicultural education. He is also the author of Arabic in a Flash volumes 1 and 2, Making out in Arabic , Essential Arabic Phrase Book and Pocket Arabic Dictionary.

This book has a good basic list of useful expressions and it's small enough to carry with you.
