Many people struggle to understand the Word of God. This book is intended to be a resource to help them. We subconsciously recognize the rules of interpretation when we read other literature but then struggle when it comes to reading the Bible. The rules for reading a fiction novel are different from the rules for reading a newspaper. We don’t give thought to the differences but understand them naturally. This book seeks to help people properly apply the appropriate rules of interpretation to the Word of God to aid in comprehension. This book will be a help to anyone seeking to understand their Bible. About the author

Bill Delperdange grew up in upstate New York. In 1984 he enlisted in the USAF and served 22 years. He was stationed at RAF Mildenhall in England, where he trusted Christ as his personal Saviour on April 15, 1992. Bill graduated from Bethany Bible College in Dothan, Alabama in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in (Pastoral) Ministry. He spent a short time working as a missionary in Tokyo, Japan, and then was on staff at Maranatha Baptist Church in Lyons, NY, under the ministry of Pastor Rodger Bottrell. In 2015, Bill and his lovely wife, Elaine, moved to Louisville, KY, and became members of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Shepherdsville, KY. At the end of 2022, Bill left secular employment to accept a position of Director of Lighthouse Institute of the Bible and Lighthouse Baptist Missions Field Director (under the leadership of Pastor David Jordan).
