Lucie's Hope: George Levy Mueller's Memoirs Of The Holocaust

Rate this book
Lucie's Hope juxtaposes Nazi Germany with Germany fifty years later. Immediately, I was captivated by the horrific events of George Mueller's survival and inspired by his return fifty years later to free himself of fear, shame, and even guilt. Lucie's Hope is a remarkable book about a remarkable man. Michael Murphy, School Superintendent Frankenmuth, Michigan

How wonderful for George, and what a privilege for us, that George decided to write this book and tell us what he witnessed and experienced at the hands of the Nazis. It is so important that we have these truths documented so that more and more people can be aware of this awful atrocity. There is a saying, “our secrets will keep us sick”. I have experienced this first hand and I’m happy that George has started his journey of healing. The only question left in my mind is what became of Ursula? She is part of this story and some of the reason he kept himself going.

Thank you George for writing this important book. I salute your courage!

Powerful. A survivor's journey through the Holocaust and beyond. I enjoyed the different timelines where George reconciled with his past alongside telling his story of survival.
