I enjoyed the mini books to read with my little one every day during Advent. Some of the retellings were very silly with the original lessons completely gone. Silly as in “This, then this happened, then this. The end.” Almost like a child made up the story (ie. Pinocchio, The Gingerbread Man). But even with a few “flops” it was an absolute delight to have and I would recommend!
We turned each mini book into an ornament (using a hole punch and craft hooks) to decorate a small artificial tree. We plan to read the books every year!
