All work and white-hot play makes this boss very, very happy.

Collin Marshall, owner of Flash Racing hadn’t planned on jumping back into the dating pool. He’s been burned one too many times by guys only wanting his money and relative fame. But even the boss gets the blues and there's one man he'd like to get to know a whole lot better--Sam Richmond.

Sam Richmond loves his job at Flash. Chief mechanic for both truck teams is a sweet job. Having Collin as eye candy? Even better. When a shipment of parts derails the team’s finishes at Iowa, it’s up to Sam to work with Collin to find a solution. Spending time with Collin forces Sam to see his boss in a new light--a sexy, dominant light.

Can these two continue running hot in and out of bed, or will their differences get the best of them?

The first volume in this series let us peek into the world of car racing as seen from a crew chief and his driver's perspective. In this second book, we get to see the mechanic, Sam, and the team's owner, Collin. They've known each other for a while, and Sam has lusted after his boss for years, but only now that Collin's ex has moved away does Sam get his chance.

Two hot, mature men and cherried out trucks!

Throw in some kinky fun and this should have tickled me pink. Alas...not so much. First and foremost, the awkward shifting of gears in Collins and Sam's relationship. Fast, slow, fast, faster...unrealistic speed to the rate of their commitment to each other--from zero to collared. Way too fast. Add in some less than appealing language, and no...I'm not going all girly here, but seriously--does "deflating cock" sound reasonable for a post-coital state or a situation that requires medical attention?

I liked the setting of a race team crew. I liked the more mature character ages--good to know men over thirty-five can still get lucky. I liked the idea of making them kinky. Unfortunately, this did not gel for me.

For me, this was the weakest of all of the Track Domination books. The storytelling was solid, but I didn't feel a connection to Collin and only minimally connected to Sam.

I was also a bit uncomfortable with the way the relationship between Collin and his daughter was portrayed. The things they discussed seemed to cross the line of father/daughter conversations. That said, that's my issue and should in no way influence your opinion.

If you've enjoyed Slayer's other work, you'll like this one too. It follows the standard Slayer formula of a dom happening upon a sub that he quickly falls in love with. If any other writer were to be so predictable, I don't think I'd be so generous with my review, but it works for Slayer.

This is the second book in the Track Dominance series and we get the story of Collin and Sam. Collin is a strong man, dominant in bed, and in his job.

Sam wants to be Collin’s submissive. He’s willing to do whatever the bigger man wants, within limits, and he’s delighted when Collin finally notices him. Until Collin says something that pushes Sam away.

This is a very short story, and I don’t want to give away too much. If you’re interested in D/s stories with a good amount of sex in it, you’ll likely enjoy this story.

(BTW, the daughter is right. Gary WAS a turd.)

This kinda turned into a D/s mess. Couldn't finish. Too bad, enjoyed the first one.
