"When I woke up hours later, I wasn’t in the same garage. In place of snow mobiles there was an old-fashioned motorcycle with an old-fashioned sidecar and when I turned around the 4x4 was gone, replaced by some old-fashioned roadster without a top like the kind James Dean had died in. I blinked but nothing changed. I checked my Swatch-Watch but it was stopped at 1:32 pm."
