These are the journeys of Miel, the Keeper of the journal.

The workings of heaven are shrouded in mystery and myth, leaving us to only theorize as to what awaits us when we pass.

There are those among us however, that are special cases.

These are good people that have committed a horrendous crime, such as murder.

What makes their cases special however, is the fact that by committing these egregious acts, one could argue that they have made the world a better place.

A heavenly court of Archangels is forced to consider these special cases, holding in their collective hands the fate of the souls that come before them, but only one among them, Rashnu, recognizes that these souls cannot be judged on just the outward details.

Miel, the lowly angel assisting him is tasked with traveling the world to gather the real facts, facts that will hopefully lead to their salvation.

The Miel Chronicles is a collaborative effort created by J.T. Lewis to work with other authors on a special project. Yolanda, co-authored with K.R. Jordan is the first of these stories!

Mystery abounds in the books of Amazon Best Selling Author J.T. Lewis.

Living in Southeast Indiana, J.T. has always loved a mystery. Striving to bring readers a story packed full of action, adventure, and suspense has led to his current selection of titles.

His first full length novel, Murder! Too Close To Home, has been voted #1 on Goodreads Best Debut Mystery Series list. Since then JT's many novels have taken off, bringing readers action and adventure at every turn.

Also look for JT Lewis' Pepper and Longstreet YA mystery series. Having been compared to the old Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries, Pepper and Longstreet at first seem an unlikely duo.

Having discovered Jacob Longstreet standing in her kitchen one day, the ghost of a Civil War solder soon becomes Pepper's friend, as well as her partner in solving mysteries. Together, they find themselves in the most unlikely of situations as mysteries unfold around them.

An electrician by trade, at night JT Lewis morphs into a fictional detective with a keyboard, a transition that suits his need for creating exciting stories very much.

i think its a very cool book with a very promising future to go far in the book world! the story is about Miel who is an angel and also the keeper of the journal.. her job is to collect facts about special people who have done bad things but for the best reasons and present their cases in front of the archangels who serve as judges and decide the fates of people whether they go to heaven or not! i like this story its different and new from everything else out there and Miel is a really neat character who i look forward to reading more about!

This book has a really interesting concept, where people in special circumstances (such as murder) get "reviewed" by a court of angels for admittance to heaven. Using an angel named Miel as like a private investigator, one of the archangel's delves into the actual circumstances surrounding the act in question.

These author's did a great job of projecting the emotions of the accused, as well as those of Miel, who does her best to see that those that need redemption are granted it.

It's a highly interesting concept! (this story)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!

Miel is an angel that is charged with keeping a journal to see if some people deserve to be forgiven for despicable acts.
Yolanda is one of these people.

This is an interesting story about the need for revenge, the guilt that follows it and God's capacity for forgiveness.

Yolanda and her family pay to cross the border illegally and are double-crossed. Yolanda is the only survivor. She seeks revenge. Is it enough? Can it ever be? Can God forgive her? Can she forgive herself?

Great story line for a series! Can't wait for the rest!
