Sutton and her family move to the quiet town of Marksgrove where there is a dominating supply of were people. Just about everyone she meets is were except for the three humans and few patrons in the quiet coffee shop mentioned throughout the entire book. This is due to the fact that one if the biggest packs happens to reside there, one of the reasons they're moving. Making friends really quickly, becoming popular, having everyone think she's hot and finding her mate almost instantly makes this book a bit to cliche for my liking. For a first draft from an inspiring author it was creative and kept me interested, however, there were a few filler chapters that you just kind of skimmed over, a need to be edited (not really an issue just forewarning for any grammar nazi's) and a somewhat overused plot line.
The characters were all kind of overly nice with only one "mean girl". Also, Sutton's little sister, taylor, was annoyingly territorial. Like she was strangely jealous of sharing Sutton which was a recurring theme through to it the entire book...
It would have been nice to see that it wasn't the alphas sons (for once) however I see the appeal. I also found there were a few subplots that just kind of fizzled out without any resolution to them. Also the timing of the piece jumps around a bit, we jump forward and back in time to see two parallel viewpoints to see both perspectives which gets a tad annoying after the third time, as well as skipping forward a few months, then the next chapter skipping forward another few months. I feel there should have been a better way of letting the reader know this, perhaps a flashback? Without mentioning in the comments as a side note that that was your intention. You shouldn't need to tell the reader, you should be showing through your work. Overall I think it needs a bit more work but after a bit of editing could turn our to be a good story :)

I found this book in Wattpad, this is a first try novel but after reading it I'm surprised that is hasn't been published yet, this book is better written than some published authors.

Sutton is an adopted werewolf and has moved into a new pack with her family but when she finds her mate he's not exactly what she hopes. It's not that he isn't good looking but he avoids her completely after refusing to be her mate.

Evan is worried about Sutton, after her incredibly creepy meeting with Luke (the hunter), he is worried that because he is an Alpha that the hunters will go after his mate Sutton.

There is also two other books to this series that I have read and both of them are at exactly the same standard simply amazing!! This book, I would be aim it at young teens maybe 11-15.

Book 2 and 3 in order:
I'm sorry, did you say mate?
I'm sorry, but we're not mates

Ok so i looked for this book everywhere seems the reviews where good, finally found it for free on whattpad. So far iv read three chapters and well its to predictable. Already the mate has been found and already the girls know they are going to he the best of friends. I think this book will be more for the age of 12 and under, but for older readers :/ i think will be turned off at the same time i have. Sorry for whoever wrote this book i understand its not easy to write a book that captures older readers, but i couldn't even get past the third chapter.
