Creepy and engaging

Haunted houses aren't usually my thing, but I'm glad I gave Willowbrook a chance. A mostly sympathetic protagonist drew me in and the engaging mystery kept me along for the ride. The house's history kept me guessing and I was rooting for the kind of redemption the end of the book brought about. There were a few word choices I questioned, but for the most part, there was good flow and several nice turns of phrase. I would strongly recommend this book for those who enjoy supernatural thrillers or a good ghost story. I don't want to move to Willowbrook anytime soon, but I enjoyed spending a few hours there.

This book is now among one of the top five books I have ever read, and I have read VERY MANY books!!! The characters are extremely well developed and believable. The storyline and plot never drag, but they don't move too fast either. Finally, there is just enough scariness to keep me interested while still enabling me to read the book at night! Highly recommend!!!

I truly enjoyed this book from cover to cover. This is the first book of Daniel Beers' that I've read and it was great. I loved how the back story tied in seamlessly. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good ghost story
