Something ancient and knowing and powerful. You cant see it. You cant feel it. Not unless it wants you to. An evil so great even time has forgotten it exists. It lives in the shadows, waiting with infinite patience for its next victim.
Shadows brings a unique twist on the power of evil, and the helplessness of humanity in the face of that which we don’t understand…
Paul Levas is the author of several short stories. The Lost Child is his long-awaited novel coming out in 2017 as well as his first collection of stories. He has appeared in multiple anthologies and has written since he was a young man living in the Chicago suburbs. He has since relocated to Tucson, Arizona.
I love this story. However, my rating is 4 stars because I love Paul Levas' "The Shed" more.
I think that the plot of Shadows is unique. It reminded me of my childhood fears whenever I walk alone in a dark, deserted area while I was growing up. ^__^ That something unseen will eat me or something. Lol. ^__^

I didn't like the story. Repetitive and not very intriguing, in my opinion. Never heard of this author. Maybe their first book?? If so, I would say that it wasn't really bad. Just kind of boring. 😞
