Love this book so much! My favourite part is “there will be someone who’d end your holiday...” - “pasti akan ada seseorang yang akan mengakhiri liburanmu..”

I honestly don't remember most things from this volume so I assume I either read it too long ago, or I've never read it before. I'm choosing to just mark it down as a book I first read in this year.
There is a funny and unique thing happening here. The novel was written a long time ago, and the anime is made earlier than manga. So there is a filler pool episode in anime, which didn't exist in the novel at all. The mangaka took inspiration from the episode and wanted to draw a pool scene, so they asked the original writer to write a new mystery. So instead of the usual route, we instead get a new story in a roundabout way. Everyone say thank you to tasukuoona, the mangaka!
There aren't a lot of overarching mysteries, just small ones. Most of the manga is about the four from Classics Club. For the first half, they're at a pool. After that, there's just a section of four of them not being able to go to bed due to the Kanya festival. Then the Kanya festival arrives! It's really fun to see them go around the culture festival doing a lot of activities while trying to sell the club's "hyouka" anthology. The art is very lively and pretty.

The overthinking gets a bit boring with time, but the story is still quite enjoyable. Lovely art as always.
