كقارئة غير متخصصة في اللسانيات وردت كثير من الشروحات والتفاصيل والنظريات والجدالات التي لا تخصني ولا تعنيني. ولكنه بالتأكيد كتاب مفيد للسانيين خصوصاً وأن المترجم هو لسانيّ سعودي أي أن مواضيع الكتاب في صلب تخصصه.
