I'm on the fence with this one. I usually don't mind insta love stories as long as I feel the connection between the characters and here I really didn't. The sex came way too soon for my liking and Vicky (h) just bugged me with all of her insecurities while Jason (H) conventional forgot he was engaged.
The story was not all bad actually. I did like the fact the (H) not only fell head over heels in love with the (h) but her child as well. I only wish the sex came later and I felt more of a connection between Vicky and Jason.
Even though I felt Vicky and Jason's relationship came out of nowhere, the ending was promising so I will continue with the next two books. Out of Nowhere gets 3 I wonder what's next stars!
ENJOYED this UNBELIEVABLE fairy-tale romance...Jason and Vicky's IMMEDIATE MAGNETIC and FIERY encounter is off-the-charts...but who in their right mind brings a complete stranger around their child and gets CAUGHT UP in heavy petting on your first meet...it wasn't even a date...I'm just saying as once upon a time being a single mom it NEVER would have happened...but if you can get past that...and the WEIRD formatting of the dialogue and the editing errors...then this couples WHIRLWIND romance is quite ENDEARING...even though Vicky came off a bit WISHY-WASHY at first...after her background was explained I kinda understood her ANXIETY...but she was ANNOYING at times...BTW...cliffhanger book...so I'm looking forward to the follow up.
That lack of confidence was her undoing and frankly a little nerve-racking. Jason Rutherford fell in love with Vicky on their first meeting. He instantly knew that she was what was missing in his life. He felt as though his relationship with his estranged girlfriend Bridget was more of a business arrangement than anything else. They had great sex but there was no connection and no love between them. His first time with Vicky Martin, all of the missing links in his life fell in place. He just had to convince her that their relationship was worth fighting for. Furthermore, everyone loved her three-year-old daughter Angel, including his parents.
LaShaun wrote a sweet heart-wrenching story about a young struggling single mother who found herself unexpectedly in love with a man so far out of her league, that she doubted her ability to be in his life. And that man, seeing her as the beautiful person she was, inside and out, trying to make her see that their relationship was worth fighting for.
What do you do when you realize the woman you are supposed to marry is not the one? Jason finds this out when he sees the most enticing woman he's ever seen on the company elevator.
Vicky has had the worse day. Her boss has just cut her overtime for no known reason. She has to pick up her 3yr old daughter from day care and its raining cats and dogs.
As Jason pulls out of the garage, he sees an opportunity to aide the damsel who is in distress. He takes her to pick up her daughter and takes her home. They discover they don't want their time to end but to Vicki's dismay, her light are off. Jason asks her for some candles and their evening begins. The attraction between these two is off the Richter scale. These two are the most unlikely couple but could this be the start of something beautiful?
Great read by Ms. Vasser..on to part two see what more this series will hold..
Jason and Vicky's story was magical and beautiful. You can't help but pull for them, especially when everything was working against them. This story proves that opposites attract. Character chemistry was on point. I've been waiting to bump into my Jason in the elevator at work, lol. LaShawn is a very talented writer and I can't wait to read more of her work.
Loved the book, but I am biased as I thoroughly enjoy all of Msn Vasser's books, I have yet to come across one of her books that is not page turning. My reading circle thoroughly agree and enjoy also. Apart from being an extremely good read they are a great discussion topics too. Keep up the good work
Wow.....every page keep my attention. The love journey Vicky and Jason shared was amazing. It explored the heart of a powerful woman with strength and courage. Awesome job LaShawn!!! Get your copy today!

This was really good! This is the first of three and I felt for the female lead (Vicky) in her struggles (been there as single parent) and understand her doubts about the male lead (Jason)'s sincerity. But, as the story went further, I became a bit frustrated with her a bit for jumping to conclusions a bit too quick. Anyway, it had a nice ending for the first book and continues in the next one. Plus, little Angel is so adorable! A good read!
I like the story. It’s cute. But my goodness, the amount of errors. I would definitely advise proofreading each chapter in the future. There were so many words missing, extra words where they shouldn’t be, grammar, misspellings of names, etc. However, if you can get past the constant feeling like you have to reread sentences to make them make sense, it’s an overall nice story.
This was beautiful love story, at first I thought how could Vicky feel so insecure. But when your dealing with someone that makes way more money then you and a different race, it’s easy to feel. I love that Jason showed Angel so much love, it’s like he knew that old saying, love me, love my child.
This was LOVE at first sight...not lust...which I was grateful for. Lust is all about sex. And Jason was searching for some type of emotional fulfillment and he found that with Vicky.
This story was amazing! I loved the chemistry between Jason and Vicky. I enjoyed the friendships, family and even laughed at Bridget! I am so looking forward to reading the next story! Thank you LaShawn Vasser, you are amazing!!!
I love a good sappy wallflower romance. This was very cute just felt a little rushed. I also didn’t like that Vicky was so insecure a woman who’s been through what she has should be so much tougher
This story moved so fast how didn’t I know it was the beginning of a new series of heartfelt events and I would eventually end up on the edge of my seat. Loving this chapter of happily ever after 💯
It's just to strange and unsafe how careless the fmc was. By herself, I would have been more graceful but with a child involved, absolutely not.
- She took a ride from him to pick up her daughter from daycare and it was storm downpour raining, fine, cool.
- Let him drive them home so that they don't have to be out in the storm, cool.
- But to let him inside your home, absolutely not - To let him stay with you inside your home bc his flight got delayed with your daughter in the house, absolutely not (They even set up a little date like picnic in the living room where her daughter was sleeping) - Kiss him (A complete stranger, sparks or not), absolutely not (Mind you the mc is also in a whole other relationship) - Tongues him down and almost have sex w said stranger while her daughter is in the same room, disgusting - After that does he leave, no, he stays even longer, Let's a random stranger stay and play with her daughter??? - He gets contacted by his GIRLFRIEND but he ignores her and keeps playing house (Stand up guy) - He later on arranges for her and her daughter to stay at a hotel for the weekend bc their power is out bc she couldn't pay the bill for it. (So what was stopping him from leaving to go to a hotel room before). And I understand the situation at hand w the storm and her power is out but that is still VERY dangerous bc he is still a STRANGER and she has a CHILD but what does she do, pack up her and her daughter to go stay at the hotel for the weekend?? - At the hotel, again a moment happens and they do or don't have sex (Idk that's where I stopped reading) bc why are they having sex so suddenly, they are COMPLETE STRANGERS.
Out of Nowhere is a story of a struggling single mother with an adorable baby girl who is barely surviving check to check and a billionaire who meet and have great chemistry together. They meet in the company elevator, but she doesn’t know who he is and he when he sees her in her vulnerability, something calls to him to want to protect her. This is an insta love story, but the connection between the characters was weak and they didn’t handle their drama very well. They would both mentally shut down so I honestly don’t know how they would be able to realistically overcome their issues. I didn’t hate the story, but I didn’t love it either. It was something that passed the time.
okay I'm going to start out with something I dislike. You have arthurs who start a new series of books . The first book will be in kindle unlimited, then the next book(s) you have to pay for.
This was a story about a very shy woman who lacked confidence in herself.
Vicky and Jason had attraction when they first looked into each other eyes.
Jason was in a love less relationship with another woman. The way Jason started his relationship with Vicky was slick and not smart.
Vicky was a woman who though very little of herself. That was something I dislike
I loved this beautiful story of a single mom who found her prince. The characters was fleshed out throughly and the supportive characters added to the flow of the story. Throw in a beautiful child and you can not do nothing but hope and this author delivered a HEA. I took a chance as I have never read anything by this author and I must say I'm glad I did. Great job LaShawn.
This is my second novel by Ms. Vasser and it was a very good read. I loved the immediate chemistry between Jason and Vicky! It was a beautiful Cinderella story.
Ms. Vasser has stated that this is her first book...I find it hard to believe!! Her stories will only get better,I'm sure of it!!
I really don't like shorts or half stories (abrupt endings just aren't my thing) but I enjoyed this one. This book made me very emotional at times, which is a good thing. I love when authors can make me feel certain ways with their writing. I'll definitely check out Ms. Vasser's other works.
I thought it was a nice story. Jason seems to be a great guy. Vicky I feel reflects well on a single parent who is just trying to make it for herself and her daughter. I'm anxious to read the next segment in the series.
