沖縄出身である作家のエッセイ集。池上は沖縄姓ではないけどなと思ったら、本名は又吉らしい。時に毒舌で、全体的に皮肉っぽく、沖縄や作家生活を書いている。沖縄あるあるネタは、特に沖縄人読者にとってはおもしろい！
