A rehash of concepts I read and listened to ten thousand times. Most of the 21 "counter-intuitive" ideas are sound, bu they add nothing to someone who already read a lot of Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill and all of their contemporary derivatives. This looks more like a freebie some personal coach would put as magnet on their site, rather than a book. There's no editorial effort in painting these ideas with images and examples. And there are also grammar mistakes. I read it in 1 hour and - after validating the ideas - used it as a checklist: am I doing it? Do I have the right approach to this area of business or life? What results do I have to show?
This book is guilty of trying to address too many subjects at once and hence failing to do so. The author is right though - network and invest in yourself!
Being Successful analyses the behaviour of successful people towards business and life and teaches the reader how they can behave the same way to achieve success.
This book shows the reader that there’s more to being successful than they imagine and dismisses some of the most frequent misconceptions about reaching success.
Being Successful is quick and easy to read and contains a lot of useful information if you want to succeed not only in business but also in every aspect of your life.
