Nora Wildes couldn’t be happier after getting engaged, but planning a wedding is harder than she anticipated. Little did she know that getting a wedding planner involved would make everything even more complicated.
Nora and Ryan soon learn that there has been a number of murders at weddings recently, they all seem to be connected to one person that is, naturally, protesting their innocence. Nora is determined to figure out who the mystery killer is so that she can get married in peace, but is it going to be that easy? Of course not.
All she has to do is plan a wedding, graduate from her witch studies, catch a killer and keep her talking cat happy. Will she get her happily ever after? Or is an old grievance about to ruin everything?
Mara Webb graduated from a child with a vivid imagination and a love of all things magic, to a professional writer. Mara writes cozy mysteries with a paranormal twist, and delights in concocting new and unusual ways to murder characters in her books.
A funny free for all with snarky talking cats, murder, and wedding cake. Nora Wildes is planning her wedding but this seems more cutthroat than most. A group of wedding planners are trying to convince her to use them, telling her that the planner she’s with is no good. Nora begins to wonder if there isn’t some kind of wedding planning cult of white pantsuit wearing women. She soon finds out that three people have died at wedding planned by her planner, and the planner is the main suspect. As she’s being evaluated for her witch’s license Nora has to prove herself a capable witch, avoid getting murdered, and find homes for six lovely familiar kittens. I’m not a huge fan of cozy mysteries but sometimes you just need something fun to read and this book does that. I really want to get the rest of the books in the series just so I can learn the story of how a cat came to own a café.

Nora Wildes is over-the-moon after getting engaged to Ryan, but as we all know, planning a wedding is harder than it looks. Getting a wedding planner involved should make things easier, but she quickly discovers that three people have died where her wedding planner was invovled, and her planner becomes the main suspect. Can Nora find the killer in time to have her own quiet wedding ceremony? Can she juggle finding the murderer, finishing her witch classes, and keeping her “chatty catty” (sorry, couldn’t resist) happy? Or is her perfect day already doomed to failure?
Cozy mysteries are so much fun. The paranormal ones are a particular favorite of mine since unexpected elements can be brought in to make things even more exciting. But I think Nora has added enough for all of us to contemplate! Grab your copy and see if she can keep all of her tasks in line as she grapples with the mystery!
Everyone knows that weddings can be stressful, but few rarely end in murder. Of course, if our heroine can't find the killer, this one just might.
This is book ten in the series, but it works just fine as a standalone. You will be missing some character background, but nothing essential to the plot.
This is cozy witch mystery series with a dose of romance thrown in. The story is very well written and easy to read, but there are several twists to the central mystery which keeps things interesting. The characters are also well developed and fun. This one had some truly unique twists that just added to the fun. Overall, I found the book to be highly enjoyable and look forward to reading more from this author.
Highly recommended.

With so many townspeople, family and friends involved in putting together the wedding and finishing Nora’s studies, will anyone remain unscathed?
Family, community and messed up vengeance mix with jealousy and justice for a stressful, yet hilarious and insightful adventure

Nora and Ryan decide to get help planning their wedding. Their wedding planner is a little over the top. When Nora and Ryan go to check out a wedding venue with the planner, the worst thing happens. There is a murder and their planner is the prime suspect for not just this one. Nora and Ryan decide to help solve the crime. Nora also has to deal with her final assessment of her magic before she can graduate. Nora realizes that everything seems to be more connected than she realizes.
This was a good story with the twist and turns. The surprise at the end will definitely get your attention. You will enjoy this story.
Nora and Ryan are planning their wedding! It’s so exciting, until there is a murder. It’s the wedding planner who is accused and they’ve been tasked to find out the truth. Plus Nora is getting her final test to see if she becomes a full witch! Exciting! I’m so happy for Nora and Ryan! Not about the murder, of course, but their lives are going to be so great! I loved the surprise at the end.

Nora is getting married, going to the next level of her witch studies, and now solving a few murders that have happened at weddings that her planner has worked on. Loved the banter and snark, the talking familiar feline, and the characters. The storyline is very well written, with lots of twists and unexpected situations. Loved how it all came together. Can not wait for the next story.

What a final book to wrap everything up! Lots of drama and guessing and a twist to take us to the end. I’m so disappointed to have finished the final book but have loved all the books and Nora’s journey. My fingers will stay crossed that the author decides to write more about what happens next as that would be amazing! I’m happy there’s lots more books to read by the author as this was the first of hers I’ve read and they kept me completely spellbound until I’d completed all ten!
Nora Wildes is planning her wedding to Ryan. Her wedding planner is implicated in murders that occurred in three of her recent weddings. So much fun to read, and I absolutely LOVED the ending! Great series, always an excellent read.

I enjoyed reading this book 📚, the interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. This book, has a good storyline, it is entertaining, and filled with action and adventure. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
The series itself was very good. The final book, however, was a big disappointment. The plot was lame and the relationship between Nora and her familiar should have improved after all they went through. The rest of the series had some editing issues, but overall was very good.
I absolutely loved the entire series. I don’t think I’ve ever read 10 books as fast as I have these. I enjoyed every single one. I recommend this series so highly. Enjoy.
I enjoyed reading the entire series all at once. Did feel like the first half was a little drawn out and almost quit because I didn’t care for one of the characters but in a very creative twist it all got straightened out and became quite enjoyable.
A good set of stories. The tenth and last one, I felt, ended a little abruptly. I thought another couple of chapters to draw out the ending would have been good. But that's just me.
This is an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters with an entertaining storyline. A young woman who inherited her magical powers from her aunt. After never being a witch before when her aunt passed away she inherited her aunt which powers. Including her house and her familiar. As time goes by she learns more for which skills we’re going to the school to learn about her powers. She gets a boyfriend gets engaged has a decent job as well as a couple of side jobs. She also has a knack for finding trouble and getting in and out of it as well as solving crimes. Radon and enjoy the story.
When Ryan's sister recommended that Nora and Ryan used a wedding planner, they both thought it was a good idea as things were beginning to get a bit too much for them. But what they didn't realise was that the wedding planner brought with her a new set of problems and yes, when they thought it was getting too much for them, things just started getting even worse... starting with the visions, dead bodies, sharp knives embedded in the backs of the victims...... sign, weddings sure can be murder!
Great fun read, even better if you have read the previous books as you share the journey with Nora, Quinn and Co. Love the kittens as usual and Quinn is Quinn, as usual - what more can one say. 5 stars, much enjoyed!
