Winter Fire by Lizzy Ford
I received this book in exchange for a honest unbiased review~~~

OMG this is such a awesome heart-throbbing read. I'm breathless as I finished it and wishing for the air of the next book in the series. The author totally knows how to enthrall the reader and keep them guessing and have them coming back for more. I'm so glad my friend Lisa Markson got me hooked on all things Lizzy related because I'm obsessed now. I love her fast paced writing with enigmatic characters that are so down to earth yet supernatural wrapped up in a awesome personality. I of course am in love with Decker and Beck .... Who ain't they are scrumptious. I felt like I was there with Morgan and Beck through their journey that stopped my heart at the end and broke yet left with hope. IS it bad that now I want to stalk everything this author writes??? This is a have to must read. I will not say anything that will spoil the journey about the story. This is all I will say: Morgan has to protect the ones she cares about from a ancient evil that has an evil plot that would destory everything. Can she stay alive and withstand the hardest journey of her life? If I could give this book 10 stars I would!!

Oh Lizzy I love you dearly, but I still want to kill you!! Let's talk about the happy times first off, Decker that boy is gonna be as protective of his niece as he is of Summer, "I'll teach her to take care of herself. No one will mess with her." Morgan she's a firecracker (literally and figuratively people) "yes, of course. No one should ever talk to anyone like she did you," Morgan said with firmness. "It's not right to belittle someone else or to hurt them, just because you're angry or upset." Beck he's carefree on the outside but on the inside he's like a damn old gramma that has really bad issues, but good effort putting up a front Beck points for that, "touching you is like putting my hand in a light socket." Way to make a girl feel special Beck. It was so good see the brothers happy and all up in their girls business, "Beck watched Morgan move away with Summer, eyes sweeping over the flame-haired girl's sexy frame. Decker's sharp gaze was on his Summer." That's what I'm talking about, and then it goes all to s***s but that's a story for another day or when you actually read the book, Dawn b**** just needs to die, I'm telling you Lizzy just kill her off and make me happy.

This is the third installation to the Witchling series. This book was good. No better and no worse than the former one. I enjoyed it very much and adored Lizzy Ford's writing style. I also still loved her characters very much. Her characters grew much more mature in this book and the drama had turned from the highschool annoying one to a more serious problem. While the first 2 books were mostly about Decker and Summer. This book and the probably the next would now be about Beck and Morgan.

Multiple POVs. Highly recommended to be read in series order.

Spoilers!!!

While The master of Dark, Decker had finally found his happiness in his counterbalance, Summer, the Master of light Beck was still facing with problems left and right. His most serious problem was not just to balance the light and the dark but his pregnant ex-girlfriend turned evil, Dawn. Dawn had turned dark and that would affect the unborn child. Beck was with guilt with Dawn and everything that she had done and would do. As much as Beck wanted to let Decker solve his problem by getting rid of Dawn, Beck still believed that she could still be saved. Most of all, his unborn daughter was innocent and she was the only thing that kept Dawn from being killed by Decker. However, Dawn just wouldn't stop her evil ways. She wanted Beck back and it seemed that it wasn't exactly love that made it so. She wanted his money. Beck finally realised it. If Dawn couldn't get him, she vowed to destroy any woman he fancied and also Beck himself... just like she did with Tanya. Despite so, Beck as the believer of goodness still held on the hope to save her.

Beck was in dilemma in everything. With Dawn. With his unborn daughter. With his duty. With his responsibility. He knew too little of what to do. After all, the former master of light died 20 years ago, Beck had no guidance like Decker did. He was tired of knowing too little, of not be able to do enough. Then in came another problem that he never thought again he wanted. Beck had sworn off women since Dawn. He hoped that when everything settled, he would finally let himself enjoy life again. However, a hot redhead walked into his life and he thought he never wanted anything as much as he wanted her. However, Morgan came with the secrets and problems of her own. Being stuck in between light and dark, having a dark past, abusive father and uncle and the dangerous family heirloom responsibility for fire witchling, Morgan was another cluster of problems on her own. Still, their attraction brought them together. Beck finally knew that he had a counterbalance of his own. But Morgan had to face her trail to be light or dark and if she did turn dark, then there was no hope for them to be together. Well not also when Morgan determined to be away from him too. Or if Dawn and her followers did not kill her first. While Decker had faced his dark and survived, Beck would now had to face even more problem... bigger problem... too much problem.

This book was literally all about Beck and Morgan and their countless problems. A lot of plot similarity between what happened to Decker and to Beck but overall very enjoyable. Beck grew up a lot in this book but it seemed that it was never enough. He also realized how his mistake had created such huge consequences.

Dawn was no longer just his problem but the threat to the world. She became quite a prefect villain. A woman with desire and greed. A person who would do anything, sacrifice anything to get what she wanted, even if she destroyed the world. Her tactics, of course remained similar... manipulation and using minions to kidnap, hurt or kill when necessary. The only problem I got with her was the fact that she could persuade her followers so well. HOW!? The plot was good. The people who helped or worked for her did evil things for her. but Why?! I got Alexa because she wanted her revenge on Summer but why others? I thought that the plot was questionable as to why so many dark witchlings followed Dawn or even did as she commanded. She was just another witchling. What made her so superior? All I could read about was that she was darn beautiful and she seduced others with sex. Unless her techniques were out of the world, I didn't see any reason that anyone to do as her followers did. They literally died for her. I didn't get it.

The plot similarity between the former book and this one might also upset some readers. Beck faced the same problem with Morgan as Decker did with Summer. 'I love you but I must leave you to save you' or 'I love you but I never deserve you so I must go away'. Perhaps Ms. Lizzy Ford was inspired by Karma theme for this series. Beck was similarly faced what he did to Decker. Well what comes around goes around. (The song by Justin Timberlake totally came into my mind. Awesome song btw)

Morgan was like Summer in her first book. She was full of self doubt. But while Summer just kept everything in, Morgan just destroyed things around with her flame. But the self-pity thing was perhaps even worse. It could be quite annoying to read her constantly telling herself how not good she was. Similar to Beck. The amount of times I read about how he was not capable enough was too much that sometimes I wished he could just go and kill himself... just kidding... Beck was good... like really good. Goodie good and annoyingly good as well. (Sometimes bad boys were just more appealing!)

I still enjoyed it overall. Still very enjoyable. Still lovable characters. Cliffhanger btw!

Oh my goodness my heart is still pounding from the cliffhanger we are left with. Lizzy Ford you are absolutely an amazing author. I cannot stress how fantastic this book was, I mean I love all of her books but there is just something about this series that is just terrific. I love how we get a little more of Summer, Decker, Biji, Amber, Sam and unfortunately Dawn and Alexa. We are also introduced to Connor (Morgan's brother) and Noah (Dawn's brother).

Morgan is a Witchling who is caught in the in between of light and dark, being a fire element makes this even harder for her because she reacts emotionally which of course her fire feeds off. Beck of course is the Master of Light and is dealing with a psychotic pregnant ex that had a part in killing the last girl Beck was dating. Beck though cannot get the beautiful Morgan out of his mind. Morgan is rebelling against all things at school and Amber their instructor is trying to get Morgan to adapt so that she can stay and learn the way of the Light. Amber ask Beck to help out and see if he can find out what Morgan's problem is.

As Beck tries to help Morgan their attraction continues to grow, but Beck has to protect the world from Darkness and of course keep Morgan safe from nut job Dawn. They try and stay apart but they can't seem to fight it and Sam explains to Beck that just like Decker has Summer to balance him he will have someone to balance him. Of track but I have to say I love Sam, I wish I had someone like him to guide me through life. Sam also speaks to Morgan and lets her know that she has to help protect Beck. Morgan steps up to the plate and stands up to Dawn and her lackey Alexa, which of course does not turn our well at all.

Morgan has a secret that no one knows about all we know is that it has caused her to hate the holiday season. We do find out parts of her secret from her brother Connor, but we are left wondering what in the world this other half is. My heart breaks for Morgan because she really does seem to have an amazing heart. She steps in when she sees people not being nice to another student. After the first fight she had with Alexa she actually apologized because she does not like being mean to people. I do not want to go more into the story for fear of spoiling it for you.

Please know you will have a cliffhanger unlike any Lizzy has written before at least that is the way I feel. I always can't wait for the next book by Lizzy but this one has me waiting beyond impatiently. I cannot wait to find out what is going to happen with Morgan and Beck or what Decker is going to do with Dawn and Alexa or how about what is going on with Noah and Biji (yes that is a little teaser). Just like the rest of this series it is YA and because of that I would recommend it to anyone who truly loves and good story.

“Winter Fire” was just as amazing as the first two books in the series. It begins a few weeks after the ending of “Autumn Storm” and everything fits together perfectly. Beck is still struggling with his duties as The Master of Light, the drama with Dawn, lawyers, and mentoring the newcomer to the school named Morgan. Things have been rough for Beck and things are getting rougher as Morgan is determined to put no effort into learning. Beck has to get her to cooperate before she gets kicked out of school. In the previous books Beck was the one trying to take care of Decker but in this book the roles have changed. Decker is trying his best to make things easier for Beck but Dawn is still determined that if she’s not with Beck no one will be. Morgan learns first hand that just being seen with Beck puts her in danger. Will Beck be able to save Morgan in time or will Dawn strike again?
I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a great paranormal romance. There will be moments where you love the characters one minute and want to shake them the next. There is never a dull moment in this book; it is full of suspense, surprises and events you won’t see coming. This series has become one of my favorites. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series. This series just gets better and better.

I love this series. Beck and Decker are back in the latest installment of The Witchlings series along with Summer and Sam, the ugly but all knowing Yeti. Twin brothers, one is the Master of Light, charged with protecting and guiding the witchling, One the Master of Darkness, charged with punishing the witchlings that go wrong. Now that Decker and Summer are ok, it's Beck's turn to be in crisis. His ex has gone dark, caused the death of the last girl that he liked and she's pregnant with his child and determined to get him back, at any cost. Morgan comes to the school with her brother,as a witchling that is in between the darkness and the light and her and Beck are immediately drawn to one another. Unfortunately Morgan has a secret, one that could destroy everything. With Amber, Beck's ex looking for ways to destroy anyone that gets close to him, things are about to get really really complicated, and now that she has a partner in crime, it's going to be much much worse. I can't get enough of this series, I love the characters, especially Decker, I want to punch Dawn until she goes to live under a bridge somewhere, and I want poor Beck to be happy finally. I adore Sam the Yeti, come on, magic and Yeti's, it doesn't get any better than that. Action, romance, family, etc. It's all in here. If you haven't read this series, you should go grab it right now, it is the bo

It's no surprise really that Winter Fire totally knocked my socks off. Lizzy Ford has skill. In the first 2 books Dark Summer and Autumn Storm (click on title to see my reviews) I was completely in lust and invested in Decker and his love life (ok and the dark and light witchlings I guess :) ), somehow, without me really realizing she took out a little Decker and added a lot of Beck. You know what? I didn't even (ok a little) miss him. Beck stood up and filled the pages.

winter Fire by Lizzy Ford

Our Master of Light has made more than a few mistakes in his short life, but he is determined not to make any more. He is putting his best foot forward. Steering clear of his crazy ass pregnant ex girlfriend, who gets more psycho as the pages are turned, and focusing on his duties. Growing the light and mentoring the light witchlings. Beck has grown dramatically over the course of these 3 books. I don't even want to stab him. I like that. Morgan brings out a side of him that makes me view him differently. He doesn't seem as blasé or that he's trying not to be indifferent, but he really is. He seems wholly in tune and ready to be the new Master of Light in its entirety.

The only thing wrong with you appears to be your choice of girls," she continued. " Only blondes? Knocking up crazy ones that you now need to be protected from?" She shook her head. "Not good."
"Rough lessons, but I learned them," he said. "I've made a lot of mistakes."
"Everyone does but you're not a bad person."
"Wow," he murmured. "Crunchy on the outside, sweet on the inside."

Morgan isn't exactly who he thought, but is she? She's experienced terrible things that has her believing she is bad to the bone. She just wants to reach her 18th birthday and get the hell away from everyone everywhere. What she didn't anticipate is falling head over heels in love and wanting to protect the one she feels needs it most.
"You're like an angry guardian angel," he said, amused. "A beautiful, sweet, angry little angel." The skin around his eyes softened with his long look.
"Too bad you only go for blondes," she said. ~ hahahahaha

We have more of Sam (Beck's Bigfoot), Decker, Summer, Biji & were introduced to some new characters take centre stage Morgan, Connor, and Noah. The story goes along and keeps me on the edge of my chair completely. It has me second guessing my predictions and wanting to inflict bodily harm upon Dawn myself. Geez louize. That girl is evil. Even without the extra Darkness!!

The moments with Summer and Morgan were among my most highlighted because they just steamed 'genuine' but it could have been because my circulation was low from clutching my kindle for dear life. Can I add that Biji and Noah were completely adorable & giggleworthy? I could read about them for days. I am hoping Ford will give Biji her happy ending, minus the arranged marriage.
"I spent my life dealing with bitchy women. You are way too nice and pretty to outbitch my mom and sister," he warned her.
"I'm adorable," Biji corrected him. "I hate being called pretty."
"For real?" He didn't seem to know how to take her response.
"Yes. Dead serious," she said. "Pretty is so insincere.
He rolled his eyes. "I was thinking beautiful but figured it'd freak you out."
"Beautiful, I can tolerate," she said.
~ Love my Biji!!!

I have to mention that I still adore the Turner family. They are a complete puzzle that fit together perfectly. They bristle and argue and disagree but at the end of the day the pieces fit together and make the perfect picture. Beck and Decker had me giggling at the most inappropriate times. Their banter and bickering was hilarious and reminded me so much of me and my own brother (without the magic of course). The weyeken right of passage night had me in stitches at some moments and pacing during others. The love they expressed through their words and actions had me swooning.
"We're twins. We have no secrets," Beck objected.
"No secrets?" Decker demanded, facing him. "Who hid my girlfriend from me for 3 months?"
"Here we go again," Beck said and rolled his eyes.

The ending caught me off-guard and not at all what I was expecting. I may have even cried a little. Ok, or alot. This series is up there with my favorites. Have you read it? If not, why the hell not? Run, skip, hop, whatever, just read these books. I punched myself in the face for waiting so long. Don't make me punch you too :)

A super fun paranormal YA series with characters you love and love to hate, twists and turns you can't get enough of, humor and sexual tension radiating from the pages. Go on, I dare ya....
"I think we belong together," he said then shifted. "I don't know if I can protect you from the problems I have, and that terrifies me. Maybe it makes me weak. I don't know, but the thought of not being with you scares me more."
"You're not weak," she said. "You're perfect."
"Perfectly flawed," he joked.
"No, Beck. Perfect. I wish I could show you what I see," she said. "I wish I was like you."

4 out of 5 stars

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have to admit, I had mixed feelings about moving the focus of the series (at least for this book) away from Summer and Decker. I should not have worried because Lizzy has proven once again that she has a talent for effortlessly weaving a complex narrative that combines her characters’ minds and voices while managing to preserve their distinct personalities. Well done Lizzy!

I was ecstatic to delve into Morgan’s mind. We were introduced to her briefly in a teaser exchange between her and Beck at the end of the previous book in the Witchling series, Autumn Storm. Let me just recap the how things stand at the end of Autumn Storm and at the beginning of Winter’s Fire. There is so much about the situation that I like because it gives you an idea about what kind of character Morgan will be. In the last book: (1) Beck puts his soul on the line and doesn't get the girl (I didn't want him to be with Summer or anything, but you have to admit, this usually results in a bit of fangirling) (2) Beck comes to the grim realization that he may not be able to keep the Darkness at bay forever and that he has no one to help him to carry that responsibility both physically and emotionally (3) Beck and Decker wonder if the Master of Light could also have a counterbalance (You have to ask yourself, what kind of girl would even be a counterbalance for Beck? I mean, she would probably have to be strong and sarcastic, but other than that...?).

AND...in walks Morgan and offers to set Dawn’s shoes on fire. Lizzy had me fully invested in a character in five pages. Sometimes it takes me a whole series to like a character...other times I never like protagonists. Five minutes...might be a record.

I was surprised to find Morgan to be the most believable and human of the characters in the series thus far. She seems like a teenager--but that may just be a result of the impulsiveness of her fire element. Even when she gets into trouble, I never felt like she needed saving. She was far from a damsel in distress. If anything, she is the princess who the white knight tries to save, but who knocks him off his horse and rides off into the sunset so that she can go save others. Throughout the book, she saves or protects others even if she is facing the possibility of pain or death. She was similar to Summer in this way, but while there are parallels between the two characters--they are both self-sacrificing, brave, and smart--but they are in no way replicas of one another.

Winter’s Fire has an interesting plot that builds off the story arc of Dark Summer and Autumn Storm. It is face-paced that makes it anything but dull and (surprise!) it ends with another trademark-Lizzy cliffhanger. When I read the last pages, the five-year-old in me was stomping her feet in protest. The novel excels at weaving the voices of new characters like Morgan and Noah (Dawn’s brother) while also, for the first time, letting us into the minds of those characters we already love. I was so relieved when I read Biji’s thoughts that she is as snarky as I thought she was! She may be my favorite character in the series.

Lizzy, if you’re reading this, more Biji please...all snarky all the time...

And, poor Sam...aren't there girl Sams in the world? He could use some yeti love.

I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
In this third installment of the Witchling Series, Lizzy Ford had done it again. The book hits the ground running without leaving you trying to remember what happened at the end of number two.
“I'll teach her to take care of herself. No one will mess with her.”
It is three weeks since Summer won her Light back and kept Decker from turning to complete dark. This story switches focus to Beck and his struggles to keep the light at the school as it’s shrinking. The story unravels from there. Things have been rough for Beck and things are getting rougher, as Morgan is determined to put no effort into learning. Beck has to get her to cooperate before she is kicked out of school. In the previous books, Beck was the one trying to take care of Decker, but in this one, the roles have changed. Decker is trying his best to make things easier for Beck, but Dawn is still determined that if she is not with Beck, no one will be. Morgan learns first hand that just being seen with Beck puts her in danger.
“It's not right to belittle someone else or to hurt them, just because you're angry or upset.”
Morgan is a fire witchling with a great spark, who has only been at the school for three weeks, and already things are not going well for her. She comes onto the bad side of Dawn, and doesn't really have anyone on her side, other than her brother Connor. She is spunky, witty, and unafraid of pain. She doesn't want to stay at school after her 18th birthday either. In desperation, Amber asks Beck to take her under his wing. She is just what Beck needs. Morgan has dark secrets that she is afraid to let out. What follows is a fast-paced read with more problems that you can imagine.
I will stop with the details here so I will let you read the book to find out more. The story is perfectly written and so easy to read, that before you know it you are done and you desperately want more. The author’s ability to give enough detail to imagine the scenes without slowing the pace, makes her book a page-turner, and makes you addictive. The only thing wrong with the book was that it ended. I need more!
As with all the Witchling Series books, these are teenagers trying to come to grips with themselves as well as their magic’s. They must also ultimately decide if they are going to become Light or Dark witchlings. You can pretty much say they have a lot on they’re plate. I am very glad that I had the chance to red this series. I recommend this book, which compliments the first two in it’s series. So get this book and lose yourself in this story, it will have you begging for more!

Definitely a 5 Star book.

I absolute loved everything about this book. It was perfect. Of course Beck and Decker are hot as can be. Summer and Biji are still as sweet as ever and Dawn is her usual bitch self. That will never change.

This book is about Beck and the struggles he goes threw. Not exactly like what Decker dealt with but close. Beck has to figure out what is happening to the light underneath the school. He is still learning his place as the Master of Light which is not easy because he didn’t have someone to show him the way. Poor guy still has Dawn stressing him out.

Morgan is a fire witchling caught in between lights. She is neither light nor dark. Her trial will decide which way she goes. It is unusual to have a fire witchling that is Light. Morgan tries her best not to get comfortable or become friends with anyone. She has a plan to leave as soon as she hits 18. The threat of calling her father makes her change her ways.

Beck and Morgan realize they have a connection and both decide to walk away. Morgan because she doesn’t trust people and because she plans on leaving and doesn’t want anyone hurt. Beck because he has other issues he has to deal, one of many being Dawn, and doesn’t want anything happening to Morgan. This does not last long and they finally both decide to stop fighting the pull. After that is when things start to go crazy.

“I will tell Summer to bring you more treats.”

“Chocolate.”

Sam Sam Sam. I love Sam. He is great and is definitely my favorite character in this series. I love his personality with the witchlings. If Sam was real I would make him live in my backyard and I would bring him Chocolate everyday.

“Beck’s Pet Bigfoot”

Sam will have you laughing in every book. The witchlings say he is ugly but I say Adorable. He only talks to the Master of Dark and Master of Light with the exception of Summer and Morgan for other reasons. I would love to see a book threw Sam’s eyes. He is great.

This book was amazing. If you are a Decker fan you still get plenty of him in this book and details about how things are going with him and Summer.

“Eight months, one week, and three days. I have a count down.”

Decker making me laugh as always.

This is a book that must be read but make sure to read the two before so you know what is happening. This one did end with a cliffhanger like no other. I felt so lost when I read the last word because I had so many questions but I would not change anything. Thank you Lizzy Ford for another great addition to this series.

Ommigod! Winter Fire is the third thrilling installment in Lizzy Ford's Witchling Series which certainly packs a punch, it bewitched me from the first few pages & I was totally hooked on finding out more about the hot headed Morgan & revisiting characters I adore so much  & the even the ones i loath with a passion.

I seriously didn't realize how much I missed these characters until I opened the pages, & god did I miss them!

Especially decker, with his bad boy charm & dark delicious nature I can never get enough of him & thankfully lizzy did give me a bit of my decker fix & an update on his & Summer's relationship.

But enough about Decker, this is Beck's Story & I can certainly see why so many have changed from team decker to team Beck...(even tho I'll always be a decker kinda girl!)
description
You know those Guys who just simply draw everyone to them...well that's exactly what beck's like he has this warm, friendly & comforting aura about him that makes everyone around feel at ease, his a delight to read & his a dream boat too boot!

"what make  thinks you think I want to go at all"
"I'm Beck" he said motioning to himself  "Have you met me? I'm Awesome"
She almost smiled. It was too easy to feel comfortable around him.

I loved reading The little tug a war between him & Morgan, there chemistry was electric! & had me frantically turning page after page..

Morgan is a fiery little fighter who is just as stubborn as decker & is probably the first too not totally fall for beck's charm.

I simply adored Morgan, she was passionate, strong, caring, & could kick some serious ass! She also has a deep dark secret that defiantly made things Interesting.

The ending was a nail biting cliff hanger which Lizzy is famous for..

Great young adult book series, this is the third book in the Witchling Series, and in this book we learn more about Beck, and the toll being the Master of light is having on his life, exspecially with his still very pregnant, and still very "Crazy" ex-girlfriend Dawn, who by the way has gone dark, and even more derranged now that she has aliegned with a dark spirit from Decker's past.
In this book Beck meets Morgan, clearly not one of the blond shallow bimbos that beck is usually drawn to like a moth to flame, instead Morgan is a redheaded beauty that is a rare Fire Witchling, and in being so , she is neither dark nor light and can not be traced by either the light or dark masters. But there is something about Morgan that calls to Becks soul and calms him, but what they are coming to realize is that he calms her fire just while igniting passion in her soul at the same time. Swearing to stay away from her and not complicate her life with his mess his ex-Dawn seems hell bent on causing has the reverse effect as he is bound to protect her more and more from Dawns brand of crazy.
Morgan is running, running from her past and her father and uncle, the witchling school, and the boy she wants like air but is drawn to at the same time, But Morgan has a secret, she has in her possession the soul stone, a stone with so much condensed evil it can suck away the light and even kill Beck.
This was a very good book with lots of action. This is a 4.5 star read for me and the only reason it was not a 5 is because I didnt feel that it gave enough of a explanation of how Becks twin Brother Deckers girlfriend Summer/Autumn became Summer again I felt it was left a little unexplained and you were just left to go with it, That and it was another cliffhanger. That being said its still a great read, you meet alot of the past characters from the previous two books, Biji, Summers best friend is right in the middle of things again, we even meet Dawn's little brother Noah the dark witchling, who defies his sister and comes to the aid of Summer and Morgan.
Overall a great series and a great read!
* I recieved a ARC of this book for a fair review*

This book was given to me for an honest review.

Lizzy Ford as always delivers a great story, totally consistent from where she leaves off. Beautifully written with more drama, excitement and subtle romance that compliments the story.

In book two, Decker the master of dark and twin brother of Beck, Master of light was being consumed by the dark because he thought he lost Summer (Autumn) the woman meant to be his love and counter balance, the woman who would keep him sane from the dark. He was saved from the dark with the help of his brother, Summer (Autumn) was given a second trail, were she passed and found her way back to Decker, and saved him from the dark.

Although Beck succeed in reuniting them and keeping the balance between Dark and Light, it left him doubting his ability and position as Master of light and protector of the Light Witchlings.
Sworn to stay away from women, which started all the chaos, hence (Dawn, psycho jealous ex light witchling, turned dark and Becks baby momma). In walks the beautiful Morgan a fire witchling caught between light and dark, with issues of her own, fiery attitude, strong personality, a dark secret, and a good heart.

Decker feels a strong connection to her and can't stay away (all bets are off). As hard as he tries he can't deny what he feels for her, the calm that she gives him when they touch (his counter-balance).

Dawn not pleased with this yet again comes with a vengeance to keep them apart, but this time she joins forces with a terrible and powerful dark force.

Decker and Beck along with Morgans brother Connor, set out to stop Dawn from succeeding in her plot to be rid of Summer and Morgan.

With great new characters and old.
I recommend this book which compliments the first two in its series, so get this book and lose yourself in this epic saga of the Witchling Series, it will have you begging for more.

Thank you Lizzy for feeding my imagination!

I always thought Beck had it pretty easy compared to Decker, but after reading this book, I realized that yes, he did BEFORE he became the Master of Light. I liked Beck well enough, but loved Decker from the start. I have now come to the realization that I just didn't give Beck enough credit, and by the end of this book, I've fallen just a little bit in love with him too.

Beck tries to do the right thing, but he makes mistakes...mistakes that get thrown in his face pretty darned often, but then, with the grief she causes him, it is hard to forget the biggest mistake of his life. Dawn! If anyone were to have told me I had it in me to strike a pregnant woman, I would have been totally offended. With Dawn, I would have smiled and said "and damned proud to do it!" In a word, the woman is a b*tch. Ok, add in manipulative, egotistical, selfish, and insane (read STUPID, but trying to be polite). What is worse? She manages to get others to do her dirty work...including so called "light" witchlings. What was Beck thinking?

Enter Morgan. She isn't blond, she isn't light or dark, and she has secrets. BUT, you had to love her. And of course, so did Beck. Morgan has a troubled past and has a hard time trusting people. I loved watching her and Beck try to fight the attraction they feel for each other. And like Decker's relationship issues with Summer, Beck and Morgan's story won't end well either. Although Beck won't have to suffer his girl falling for his twin, he will be on the receiving end of heartache and a secret that Decker will keep from him going into the next book. Being a Turner just isn't easy when it comes to finding and keeping their soul mates.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if you have not read Lizzy's books you really need to pick up this series. Yes, it is a YA series, but they are interesting and enjoyable for anyone over the age of 18 as well.

*SHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK*
What?! Holy mother of cliffhangers!

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN. How the hell is it possible for each book to get more and more intense in this series? I have absolutely fallen for this series and for Lizzy Ford's writing.

Stayed up last night doing the whole

blinky

thing while reading this series. I'm late on this review. I was gifted an ARC from the author and I'm so wickedly incredibly late. I've gone through Summer's first trial, which she passed, to her breaking the laws in grief, and dying. To Autumn's trial. To Decker's ruin and salvation. To Beck's trials with that evil bitch, Dawn. And now...there's Morgan & Beck and oh, how I cannot wait to see how it ends. I was in disbelief that my kindle wouldn't turn any more pages.

I've been glued to my kindle for a day just losing myself in the world of The Witchling series. The characters kinda leap off the page and grab you by the throat and you can't help but to pay attention.

Watching the relationship unfold, the hints about Morgan's torturous last four years, watching Beck discover what love is, watching Dawn just become more and more evil...what a ride!

And then the ending? I'm glad I was reading on a bed at the time as I dropped my kindle and looked remarkably like Ewan MacGregor below. Oh boy, Ms. Ford, when is the next one out? I got my one-click finger hovering and ready!

So I just finished Winter Fire, book 3 of The Witchling Series, omg, so lovin’ it!
I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy book 3 as much as books 1 and 2. I really got attached to Summer and Decker and didn’t know if I could really get into a book that mainly focused on Beck. Soooo glad I was wrong!
I actually enjoyed finding out more about Beck and seeing things from his point of view. It really changed how I saw him from the first two novels in the series. I really liked Morgan too. She has her own issues, just like Summer did, but she handles them in a completely different way. Summer and Decker were still there, of course, as well as some of the other characters that I’d gotten to meet in the previous books. I have to say that I really like how Ford reveals various details about some of the supporting characters. I think it really helps to keep them from feeling flat and gives the story itself more flavor.

I liked this story as well. There were lots more things that got revealed about the Witching world. For example Witchlings born to two Dark parents aren’t Light when they are born. They are stuck in a sort of magic limbo. Don’t think this is especially fair, but it still was interesting. I also liked finding out more about Decker and Becks family.

I think the ending was similar to the first book, it was definitely a cliffie. I think maybe the ending of the first book really prepared me for this one though, because I wasn’t as heartbroken for the characters as I had been for Summer and Decker. Of course there were some seriously different points between the two so that also affected it. (Trying not to spoil the ending too much)
I definitely can’t wait to read the fourth book in the series. If you are looking for a great series to start this summer I highly recommend picking up the Witchlings saga.

I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Lizzy Ford has done it again. Three for three! Winter Fire is boo others in her amazing Witchlings Series and like the two before it, I have given another five star review. Everything about this series is perfect! I still love how Lizzy Ford gave the characters powers based on the elements. Also each cover has been more beautiful than the last. These books are just so easy to get lost in. This story is packed with action and romance, but just enough to have me begging for more. I also love how new characters were introduced and that they meshed beautifully with the characters that we already know and love.
Morgan, Morgan, Morgan! What a mysterious character. I can't wait to find out more details of her life as her walls are slowly broke down. I want to know why she is so messed up, but in a lot of detail. I really enjoyed reading about her and her journey to try to decide which side to finally chose. With that being said, how dare Lizzy Ford cut the story short! I wanted to keep reading until I had every piece of the story and until the series was over! Alas, that wasn't the case and now I will have to eagerly wait for the next book. I really had fun catching up with old characters as well.
Another must read by Lizzy Ford. I would recommend this series to everyone! I can't wait for e next instalment.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow – this was a great read! I admit to being TEAM DECKER at the start of the book, but now I might be moving to TEAM BECK! I always thought of Beck as kind of an arrogant player, but this book really changed my view of him a lot. I’m glad that the series has given us a few different POVs because I love all the characters we meet along the way, too. Noah was a great addition to the story, and Biji is always a fave of mine. We get to check in with Summer and Decker as a little treat as well.

The story revolves around Morgan, a witchling caught in between light and dark. When we first met her at the end of the last book, I was already in love. I wanted somebody to mess up Beck’s already messed up world and she seemed like an ideal candidate. I hate his “only blondes” mantra and really thought he could use his world being turned upside down. Morgan does that in a big way. The story wasn’t as heart wrenching as the Summer/Decker drama, but we’re getting there.

I also didn’t read any information about this book before starting, and was both sad and happy to discover this wasn’t the end of the Beck/Morgan story. It’s not really a true cliffhanger at the end of this one, but it certainly is not a happily ever after. I’m dying to see what happens next, so I’ll be keeping my eye out for the next book in the series!

In exchange for an honest review, I was given the opportunity to read this before its release. Now, I have to say that I've been a Lizzy Ford fan since Damian first found his Sofi, but I think Morgan and Beck take the cake.

Where do I start? At this point in the storyline, Decker & Summer have started their relationship up again and everything seems to be going smoothly. Beck is trying to learn his role as the Master of Light, and new rules are in place to avoid another Dawn/Beck fiasco.

Enter Morgan, and their world starts spinning out of control. Morgan is a fire witchling with a spark! It's hard not to instantly love her. She's spunky, witty, and unafraid of pain. She's just what Beck needs!

Then enter Dawn. And that's when I lose it. That girl is just pure evilness!! She shouldn't have been saved. But here she is again, as delusional and insane as when we first met her. Perhaps even more so, now that she's Dark. And she will do everything in her power to get her revenge.

Finally, throw in some love scenes, some rather twisted ones, and some pretty heroic ones, and you'll be at the edge of your seat, flipping to the next page until you realize you've finished the book.

Just another awesome Lizzy read! Can't wait to see what happens next.
Lizzy, please hurry up and give us book 4!!!

I have never read a series of books that are technically classified as Young Adult that I loved so much. This series is the best Young adult books I have ever read. In this third installment of the Witchling series, we learn more about Beck (The Master of Light) and I enjoyed that, because the first two books were centered around Decker (The Master of Dark). That being said, I will forever be Team Decker.

I absolutely loved the new characters, Morgan and her brother Connor. It was nice to see someone affecting Beck as much as Summer affecting Decker, because Beck really deserves it with everything he is going through. She’s a kick-ass fire element with an attitude to match. From the very beginning, the author had the brothers ending up with counterbalances that are like each other and I like that fact. They are women that the brothers never would have expected to be with and that’s always a wonderful surprise.

I gave it an A- (or 4 stars) because I felt that the first two books in the series were better, so I didn’t want to rate this one the same as the others. That being said, I am still very glad that I was introduced to this series and Lizzy Ford as an author, because she is immensely talented.

LIZZY HITS IT OUT OF THE PARK AGAIN!!!

In this third installment of the Witchling series Lizzy had done it again. The book hits the ground running without leaving you trying to remember what happened at the end of number two. It is 3 weeks since Summer won her Light back and kept Decker from turning to complete dark. This story switches focus to Beck and his struggles to keep the light at the school as it is mysteriously shrinking. The story unravels from there. For all you Decker and Summer fans no fear they are very much in the plot line as well. I will stop with the details here so as not to spoil it. The story is wonderfully written and so easy to read that before you know it you are done wanting more. Lizzy's ability to give enough detail to picture the scenes without slowing the pace of the plot line makes her book a can't put down page turner. The only thing wrong with the book was that it came to an end. I have yet to read a book that Lizzy has written that I do not like. I see her going far in the world of writing and am looking forward to many years of enjoying her books.

I was given this book free by the author in exchange for an honest review. Morgan is a fire witchling. She has only been at the school for 3 weeks, and already things are not going well. She very quickly comes onto the bad side of Dawn, and doesn't really have anyone on her side other than her brother Connor. Of course she really doesn't have any plans of staying at the school past her 18th birthday either, so she doesn't care. In desperation, Amber asks Beck to take her under his wing. The problem? Morgan has dark secrets that she is afraid to let out. What follows is a fast paced read with sparks flying in more ways than one (pun intended).

As with all the Witchling Series books, these are teenagers trying to come to grips with themselves as well as their magics. They must also ultimately decide if they are going to become light or dark witchlings. I liked Morgan. In a lot of ways I related to her without the dark secrets. She is the perfect opposite for Beck, and if she can overcome her insecurities, the perfect match for him. The only thing I didn't like was the cliff hanger at the end. These books are perfect for 15+

Finally! Beck's story is here. This is my favorite book in the Witchling series so far.

We've met Summer/Autumn and our heart broke during her trial. Who didn't fall in love with Decker, the Master of Dark. All he needed was the love of a good, strong woman to save him. Now we have Beck, Master of Light.

Beck is struggling. Since there isn't anyone who can show him what to do, he is figuring it out alone. Unfortunately the Light under the school is shrinking and no one knows why. Morgan and her brother show up at the school shortly before Christmas. Morgan is a fire witchling, caught inbetween Light & Dark because she was born to 2 dark parents. Morgan is waiting to become of age so she can leave everything and everyone behind. Then she meets Dawn! Dawn is still trying to get in good with Beck and Morgan can't stand to see Beck hurt.

I really enjoyed seeing someone stand up to Dawn! I appreciated finding out more about some of the other people in the story, like Biji & Noah, Dawn's brother. I laughed a lot during this book and I think my favorite part of the book is when Morgan meets Sam & asks if he is Beck's pet Bigfoot.

This is the third in the Witchling series and it did not disappoint. Once again readers are left with a painful cliffhanger.

Morgan, a fire Witchling, just might be the counter balance to the Master of Light, Beck. However a past history of abuse and having two dark parents has left her teetering between light and dark. Her uncle leaving her with the dreaded soul stone, saying she must use it to end the light or he will kill her father has put her in a terrible position. Killing the light meant killing Beck and letting the Darkness take over. Her journey throughout this book is one of sacrifice.

Of course the evil Dawn is still in the series. I'd like to jump into the book and knock her out myself.

Summer and Decker and faithful Biji are also still in the series. Ever evolving and becoming more a part of my favorite series about witches!

I can't wait until the next, and final, edition.

I am completely consumed by this series, it's one of the best I've read next to the Fallen Star Series by Jessica Sorensen. I've become obsessed I adore all the characters and their romance relationships along with the specialness that goes along with them. The Switching points of views is one of my most favorite about the series being able to hear from different perspective and find the reason why they feel and do what they do. The first two books were about Decker and Summers relationships and trials they went through with the help of supporting characters, it's nice to hear from Beck's side while introducing new persons and still being connected to Decker and Summer even though they have become the supporting roles for this book. A continuance of the first two of conquering darkness and evil with great drama and suspense of mystery and secrets. Again with the cliffhanger excited and anxious for the next book to come out.

Winter Fire is excellent! The book ended way too quickly for me. I wanted and still want more Beck and Morgan.

Beck is still struggling with his Master of Light duties and Dawn, and now he has Morgan to figure out. Morgan thinks she knows what she wants to do once she turns eighteen but she knows she would be leaving people she cares about behind which won't make it easy, especially with Beck now in the mix. Beck and Morgan have great chemistry and I love their interactions. This book is all about Beck and Morgan but we still hear from Decker and Summer, although I do wish there was a bit more about them in it. We also hear from Biji and now we have a new character, Noah, in the mix.

The next Witchling book will be interesting with all these new developments and I'm excited to read it. I will be impatiently waiting. In the meantime, I do highly recommend this series and this book!

Lizzy Ford has done it again. Winter Fire is everything you expect. Lizzy can certainly weave a story. This book is mainly centered on Becker, the Master of Light. (His twin Decker is the Master of Dark.) Becker meets Morgan, a fire power, who brings with her an evil thing known as the soul stone. Her family has been its handler for centuries. Becker and Morgan are attracted to each other. Becker's ex-pregnant girlfriend is jealous and sends people to beat her up. They fail. Dawn is furious and turns to darker evil. Morgan is kidnapped along with Summer (Decker's girlfriend) and Biji. Noah, Dawn's brother, realizes Dawn needs help, not believing she is evil until she turns on him. Biji escapes the kidnappers and Noah saves her during a terrible snow storm. Together they seek help. Does help arrive in time? Can Becker and Morgan find happiness. What happens to the soul stone?

I received an ARC in exchange of honest review

The third book in the Witchling series is bound to make the readers glued to the book even after finishing with it. Its by far my personal favorite in the witchling series.
Emotions... Love, friendship, loyalty, hatred are all bottled-up together and when it hits you, it leaves you breathless. The story has every element to make you fall in love with it. Magic at its best. The budding love between Beck and Morgan will make you question yourself. Whether you love Decker-Summer more or this new couple. I also fell in love with Biji-Noah chemistry. Its a wonderful book which proves all over again that love and loyalty can always surpass hatred and evil.
Can not wait to read the next.
Lizzy Ford certainly knows how to please her readers and I am one happy raeder :)

This is Beck story!

After Summer and Decker are finally back together and all the guilt of lying to them gone, you would think Beck would catch a break.

Trying to deal with a pregnant recently turned dark Ex.~ he doesn't want anything to do with her but he will be there for is daughter.
With the school ground loosing light again and a new witchling that he shouldn't be attracted to.
Beck is struggling to try to find how he is suppose to protect everyone, how to be master of light. and how does Morgan fit in all of this.

Morgan just want to turn 18. She wants to be free from her uncle. She thinks she knows whats best for her. She just need to hand a little longer.

I absolutely LOVE this book but damn the cliff hanger is killing me!!
I think i might like Beck better then Decker now!
This is a one sitting kind of book can't put it down if my life depended on it!!

This book was sent to me in exchange for an honest review.

I completely love Lizzy Ford's books!! The worlds that she creates are well developed and intriguing. This series has been no exception. The characters are well developed and it's often easy to tell who's speaking without being told, which is no small accomplishment. I'm amazed at the growth the characters in this series have achieved. Ive grown especially fond of Beck; the carefree, party boy. He has matured so incredibly since book one.

This book also takes us on a whirlwind of emotion...everything from happiness and love, to fear and suspense, to wonder and amazement!! Book 4 can not be released soon enough. We seem to be left hanging...
