The Devils have returned with one torment me. They hate me.
Five years ago, I ruined their lives.
It was an accident.
Who knew one photo could cause so much damage? Now, I’ve been assigned as a photographer for The Devils’ Salvation tour.
Personally requested.
More like demanded. Just me and three vicious, sinful, rockstars bent on vengeance.
If I want to keep my demons at bay, I’ll have to endure their hell.
I’ll take whatever they throw at me.

They can try and break me.
But I’m already broken.
And the torment they put me through only makes me want it more. Jax, Maverick and Ansel.
The three devils on my shoulder.
Tempting, taunting and punishing. If we keep going down this path… None of us are making it out of this tour alive.

Rocked by Her Devils is a dark why choose standalone with a HEA. This book contains dark content, please read the trigger warning at the beginning of the book for details.

Got this for review on Netgally.
I love a why choose romance with darker themes and multiple POVs. The start of the story gets very intense due to the shared past and very sexy tension. But that's not the whole book as its also about her being stalked by her ex. I really enjoyed it as it had enough plot for it to feel engaging and a lot of spice as well.

When Clover Pierce finds out she got a photography deal for a Tour by The Devils, she has to consider whether going back to them is worth it. Clover previously released a private photo that led the band to being imprisoned for 5 years, but when she lands the deal for the comeback tour she knows the pressure is worth it for the money. Will the sexual tensions along the way sway her opinion on them?

This romance is dark, steamy and exotic. The characters had an intense chemistry from early on, and it hooked me the whole way through. The way the group of four seemed to feed off of their flaws and worked together to resolve any pressing problems was intriguing.

Through the use of multiple POV's we can see the characters feelings and thoughts without explicit dialogue which I always love.
I wish we had more plot build up, some things seemed a little rushed and unrealistic. I also wish we also had more character development, rather than being stuck with the original descriptions.

I was a big fan of the side plot revolving around finding Clover's ex-boyfriend stalker. This plot added more intensity to the group of four in their need to protect Clover, this guy was a sicko and I'm glad he got what he deserved.

Overall this was a great dark, heavy themed romance. I would recommend especially if you're in the mood for something steamy. Thank you to NetGalley, Relay Publishing and the author for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

2.5, but rounded up in the end.

So, it was pretty clear from the cover and blurb that this book was going to be smut-heavy, mostly romance centred, and that's fine, as it's what this book is clearly selling.

What I didn't expect, considering all the decent reviews, was something so contrived and ridiculous, with so many absurd situations it felt a little like reading a parody.

I'll list just a few for the hell of it:
- They hate her as her photo sent them to jail for 5 years, but that hate lasts about 10 pages and then it's all randomly forgotten, and never spoken about at all
- One of them is a super high functioning heroin addict, which seems to be a slight oxymoron, but I'll admit I'm not an expert. However, the way this was trivialised and used as an 'edgy' thing to make the character more 'rock and roll' just seemed daft.
- Two drug dealers manage to chase the guy across several borders and cut him deeply several times in the chest to try and remove his tattoo as payback, and they just slap a bandage on it and it's never mentioned again.
- They're all poor, tragic people from either dead or estranged families and they were in prison for 5 years, just as they were beginning to get famous, and they are currently unsigned. Where is their magic money coming from for the tour or any of it? This is vaguely explained in a sentence about investment or something. Again, it's just lazy.
- The ending with her ex... I can't give too many details, as it spoils the ending, but that whole situation was the icing on the absurd cake that was this book. I think I spent the last 20% just eye rolling.

I'm sure there's lots more, but I've run out of steam.

There's also almost zero character development of anything resembling any depth.

It's a shame, as the writing isn't bad, particularly, the whole story was just so silly, and it didn't need to be.

I also should have learnt my lesson and stopped when she was having aex with one of them at around 20%. Even if it's a smut heavy book, that's not usually a good sign, in my experience.

Ultimately, this partially entertained me on a rainy afternoon when I was unwell, but it just got to one eye roll too many for me to feel like I can recommend this to anyone, unless you like your romance as absurd as I've described, and if so, go for it - you might enjoy it!

It was good, it was hot, but it could've been better.

At the beginning you get these dark romance vibes, the boys want to use her body for their pleasure to get back at her for the photo she took years ago that helped destroy their career. I was all for that. You go boys.
We didn't get it.
Clover fell into bed with these guys waaaay too fast considering her abusive past. These guys are assholes, why wasn't she triggered?
The guys treated her so good and healthy. And yes, you go boys, so proud. But that's not what they planned on doing if you're going by the first few pages...

The abusive ex popping up again the first time was done okay-ish. Still felt a little sudden in the plot, but was overall okay. The second time though, boy oh boy, was that part of the book messy. Give us the part in Clover's POV where he takes her and then give us the part where the guys find out. But we didn't even get Clover's POV. And the guys POV all went too quick. I wasn't invested AT ALL.

They get her back. She doesn't respond. Okay, trauma we get that. Suddenly she finds herself and decides she's going to kill the ex. The guys hop on board, have a gun already, exclusive pass to a sex club... It was all too easy and abrupt and NOPE.

The writing was so good though. I kept reading it even when it started to crash and burn. It really kept my attention on the book even while I was finding so many things wrong with it. All these things listed above could've been solved with a little bit of editing / rewriting. The writing is good, the plot could use some work.

The smut was excellent. Top notch. Very hot. The scenes were a little on the short side which was a pity. So many things you can do with one woman and three guys, but it was a little surface level. GIVE ME MORE SMUT.

I did enjoy the book, and the smut, but I wasn't very invested in the story. I'm giving it three stars.

This book was provided to me by Netgalley.

Rocked by her Devils is different from the reverse harem I've read so far.
It's darker, with characters who all have complicated pasts that have a real impact on who they are today, but also on their relationships.
Clover, Jax, Maverick and Ansel have a past together, but not a relationship that ended badly like what we usually read. For once, what the FMC is accused of is real, and she makes no bones about her actions, which have had a terrible impact on the three boys.

It's dark, with heavy themes (drug addiction, abuse etc...) so be careful if you're sensitive to these themes.

I was really hooked by the first part of the book, which was dark and where we learned more about the psychology of the characters. And at one point, there's a change in the MMCs' attitude towards FMC and there's a new plot and I have to admit that the change threw me a bit.
The story revolves less around the relationship between our MCs and too much around finding the villain of the story.

In conclusion, Rocked by her Devils is a good, dark, steamy reverse harem that will appeal to fans of the genre :).

Rocked by Her Devils is a multiple perspective, why chose, rockstar romance. The story is about redemption, revenge/forgiveness, and the complexities of human relationships. This is a heavy read with each character having traumatic life experiences, so make sure you check the trigger warnings.

Clover is the new photographer for the band made up by Ansel, Jax, and Maverick. Problem is she took a photo years ago of Jax in a compromising position and sold the photo to media outlets which then landed the group in prison. What happens when Clover has to be in their personal space for the duration of the reunion tour.

Thank you to Netgalley and author for giving me a digital copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Rocked By Her Devils is a steamy why choose romance with banter and steam.

I really enjoyed this why choose romance! The three men where all separate and their own characters, and I really liked how they interacted together. This is a rock and roll romance and also deals with an abusive ex-boyfriend. I like how the men protected her from him, but ultimately let her get her revenge.

One issue I had is how one man has a serious drug addiction, and I just really wanted him to go to rehab at the end.

Overall, I read this in one sitting and had a great time!

Where do I begin… this book was trying to be a mixture of erotica, suspense and some sort of mafia/convict I don’t know what. It was fantastical and so far removed from every day life that it often resulted in raised eyebrows.

HOWEVER! I couldn’t put it down. The characters were interesting enough to me to keep reading and the sex scenes were steamy even if their setup read like a low production porn flick.

This book is definitely for those fans of this dark romance genre, for my part I enjoyed it for what it was.

Rock by her devils is an interesting and steamy reverse harem book about Clover, a photographer, who’s asked to get on tour with a famous rock band. The problem ? The picture she sold 5 years ago helped put the 3 members of the band in jail, and they want revenge. You can guess the beginning of the book is full of tension between them (some attraction too) as they want to make her pay, but it quickly turn into them wanting to protect her from her psycho stalking abusif ex boyfriend during the tour.
I think the characters were interesting but I wish the author would have talked more about how they overcame their trauma and struggles. Especially Ansel and his addiction (by the way huge TW for addiction and drug use for the first half of the book). I feel like the beginning of the book was more character oriented but the second half was more about their relationship and how to get rid of psycho ex. I wish the author would have continued to develop them individually.
I still think it’s a really enjoyable read.
(I also have to admit at first I was put back by the way the guys acted, and some things made me question the consent about what was happening. I’m glad it the dynamic changed rather quickly)

I got this book for free thanks to Hidden Gems. I’m willingly giving my honest opinion.

If you are looking for a bit of light entertainment this book isn’t it. It’s a heavy read with each main character having their own dark history and trauma be it child abuse, an abusive ex or a drug problem they all have issues and whilst they shouldn’t work together there is something about their darkness that draws them all together. Although the CA is mentioned it happens off page but the other things like the ex and the drugs are all explicitly captured on page by the author which makes for a tough and gritty read that may not be for everyone.

We are initially thrust into a story of Clover and the Devils - Jax, Maverick and Anser as we learn that years ago Clover sold a photo of Jax depicting an orgy and drug use that led to their record label dropping them. Due to other things happening in their life at the time such as an overdose backstage the combination of events meant they not only lost their record label but also ended up in prison and for that they all blame Clover. Now as they rebuild their careers and head out on tour she's hired as their photographer and forced to live on a tour bus with them baying for her blood. At first the thoughts and behaviours of the boys were frustrating as even though they admitted what happened to them turned out to be for the best they still held rage and blame for it towards Clover without acknowledging she simply captured their behaviours. It was those actions that cost them in the long run. Fortunately the author quickly shows a different side to the men and we see a real growth of character in them as they learn about Clover’s past and their hatred towards her turns to real care and we do see some tenderness although not always in the most traditional of senses.

The author used different POVs of the main characters to help show their feelings and thoughts but also explain their pasts without having to have the characters speak about them. This made them and their actions more relatable and whilst I personally wouldn’t do or act in the way they did I could understand the characters' reasons.

The combination of a rock band on tour plus the danger that Clover’s ex provided added to the illusion that not all fame and fortune is positive, add in their complicated relationship with some hot and possessive spicy times though and I could certainly see the appeal, all things considered.

Overall I thought this was a great read and I really enjoyed seeing the author’s portrayal of the dark world of celebrity.

Rocked and saved
Rocked By Her Devils by Rosa Holland is the first book by this author that I have ever read and I really enjoyed this steamy, dark & dirty reverse harem. It's an unlikely group, but in the end, they really work. There's chemistry sparking right, left and center.
The rock scene is interesting and makes for a great setting for Clover and the guys. Backstage, a closet, a park and of course the tour bus. Along with the rock and roll scene, these band members that are more like brothers, have a great deal of angst in common. Each bringing different experiences, yet similarities are shared. And Clover is just the newest addition. Jax, Maverick and Ansel's backgrounds give this reverse harem a raw, gritty, sexy, dark and dirty vibe. Clover has a lot of darkness, pain and abuse she is trying to escape, yet it is still coming after her.
I also found it interesting that despite how these characters are connected, they overcome that in defense of Clover over and over. Jax is quick to temper and snarl, even manhandle Clover and Maverick is a hair-trigger away from rage while Ansel medicates his past. Drugs are not a trigger for me (but it is a prevalent topic in this book), but I was really sad for Ansel and wished the author had focused a bit more on sobriety for the character. Ansel is a good guy through and through, just struggles with his demons.
Overall, I found the characters to be real, the rock concert tour scene exciting and the reverse harem beyond hot in a dark and dominating way. Clover may have begun the tour as enemy number one, but in the end, she's the only one for her Devils.
I read an ARC of this book via Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.

Thank you to Relay Publishing for making this arc available on NetGalley.

Anyone looking to read this should check the trigger warnings first, as there are some dark themes throughout.

Clover is a photographer who made an enemy of a band called the Devils by posting a photo of them which landed them in jail for five years. After they get out, they are going on tour and she is still working as a photographer. She is then thrown into the deep end.. as the photographer on the tour. Clover also has an ex-boyfriend who doesn’t want to leave her alone.

This seems like a story with potential, but which sadly wasn’t executed as well as it could have been, mainly due to rushing. The three band members hate Clover for all of 2.5 seconds before they seemingly forget about their jail time. She is happy enough to jump straight into bed with them despite the past trauma she’s been through. And there’s not really any character development or build up of their relationships, but then all of a sudden they’re in love.

One character also has drug addiction issues, but after he tries to clean up and then falls off the wagon, these are never mentioned again, which I found odd (because it was a big part of the storyline for a bit).

The band also mysteriously has the money to go on tour without a label immediately after being released from prison, and it’s never really clear where this money came from.

I did like the characters, but I think it would have been a better read if there was more time for them to get to know each other, and for issues to be explored rather than just apparently being swept under the rug.

Overall, the smut was pretty decent, but the storyline needs some work to make it more believable.

A fast paced smutty good time!

One photograph she took years ago had a hand in destroying the band she is now going on tour with. There’s no doubt the members will want their revenge, and now that she’s stuck on their tour bus she’s entirely at their mercy.

The need for revenge really seemed to fall away quickly for the MMCs, and they instead fell hard and fast for their FMC. This also progressed the spicy good times even more so as they had already had some steamy moments when they were at odds with each other. This was a true RH as all the MMCs were entirely focused on their girl.

We had a strong FMC who had been through a lot in her past, she survived it and pushed through to get the life she wanted. She wasn’t impervious to the current trials of the story she was facing, but she also made the smartest choices possible. The MMCs really didn’t hold onto their anger long, it very quickly turned from enemies to lovers as they antagonized their FMC.

There were quite a few heavy topics addressed in this book so please be aware before you start reading. Each character had their own demons that they were fighting throughout and in the end they had all grown at least a little. We got a nice epilogue, that showed even more of their growth and where they are finding themselves.

This book hit all the boxes for me, it was delightfully smutty with a lot of great spice, but only worked because of the great characters and the way they handled the challenges they were facing.

It was exactly the book I was looking for at this time!

The story 'Rocked by her Devils' by Rosa Holland is not like any story I have ever read but I liked it. It was an intricate story about a woman photographer hired to take photos of the three rock stars whose career she had ruined with a damaging photo she had taken years before. She did not mean to cause them trouble and felt guilty about it and of course was not met very favorably by the trio. But as they got acquainted, they learned she had sold the photos in order to escape an abusive ex-boyfriend and did not mean them harm. They also had a part in their own history because they were carrying drugs in the photos and a young man had died of an overdose at the backstage party which led to them serving a prison term. While traveling together on the tour bus they become a very close-knit group sharing their past experiences and cementing a bond between them. As they are out on tour and the lady is taking pictures she is accosted by the ex-boyfriend and her protective rock stars come to her rescue and become her champions. Together they devise a plan to end her stalker situation once and for all.

I love me a good reverse harem so was excited to get approved for this one on net galley. As a reader you go into these types of books more for the spice than the plot and that's what we got with this book. Which is what I based my rating on. I like that the book was told from multiple POV's to give the characters and the story a bit of depth. Which I wish there was a bit more of individually.

This one definitely falls on the dark romance spectrum with multiple TW including : drug use, sexual assault, assault, child SA ( off page), torture, kidnapping, borderline consent issues, murder, and violence to name a few.

I think my biggest complaint is that the ending felt rushed and unresolved. But I was still entertained as I expected I would be. Totally engaged in the story and read it in just over a day. A definite recommend for fans of the genre.

This story started off raw and gritty with a lot of anger directed at the woman who almost ruined their band and, at the time, I felt that it was just a little too much. Clover took a picture on the Devils last tour, inadvertently showing Jax in an orgy with hard drugs in the background. Jax, Ansel and Maverick all spent 5 years in prison and now they're out and they're going to make Clover pay. They devise a plan for revenge by appointing Clover as the photographer on their new tour and making her life miserable. They were hard to take from the very beginning, but as they begin to understand her motivation for the picture and the abuse she suffered, they tempered their behavior and began to fall in love. They fall and fall hard and, as I saw it, have hope for the future. The only thing I didn't quite believe was the violence toward the end. It definitely served its purpose and brought closure to Clover, but it was out of character. The main and secondary characters are so well-written and their rock star world is a reality.

The Devils, a rock band consisting of Jax (H), Maverick (H), and Ansel (H), hold a deep grudge against Clover (h) for a photo that ruined their careers and sent them to prison. Clover, assigned as their comeback tour photographer, becomes the target of their vengeance. However, as they get to know one another amidst a backdrop of concerts, backstage moments, and the tour bus, the complexities of these characters and their shared pasts start to intertwine and the bond between them intensifies, leading to unexpected connections and a sizzling chemistry. Clover, Jax, Maverick, and Ansel are all flawed, each carrying their own emotional baggage and past demons create a captivating intense atmosphere. While the characters' connection initially stems from a place of anger, it gradually transforms into a protective and passionate alliance. A dark RH romance with dash of revenge and lot of ultra-hot steamy action.

‘Rocked by Her Devils’ by Rosa Holland is a dark RH that chronicles a comeback tour. Clover is hired to immortalize the band with photos even though she has an unfortunate history with them. Jax, Amstel, and Maverick blame her for their legal problems that caused them to lose their freedom and their label. They are out for revenge.

Clover was abused by her father and then a psychopathic boyfriend. She got away from him by selling some pictures of the bands’ post show 5 years earlier. The guys hate her but make her travel on the bus which makes the attraction between them grow. Their banter, angst, and sexual tension gets the better of them all and some very explicitly dirty scenes become very common. Their relationship overcomes many obstacles and they become more loving. I love RH and this one has a great ending.

Rocked by her Devils is a SPICY, action-packed reverse harem story. Wow, this book was good. Enemies to lovers, reverse harem, taboo, and over-protective alphas are just some of the themes you will find here. All erotic lovers will not be able to put this book down.

I highly enjoyed reading this book. It was told from all 4 love interests views and even though this was a shorter novel, you really understood the different characters. This is because it is so well-written.

There are a lot of taboo and sensitive topics covered, so check the authors note. I do feel like it was handled very well in the book, acknowledging the abuse/rape etc. while not concentrating on it too closely.

Rosa Holland is now going to be a go-to author for me! This story was so much fun to read. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an ARC of this. I probably never would have found this book and author if not for the ARC, and now I can't wait to read more!

Rocked by Her Devils is a dark, why choose, suspense romance novel. It is fast paced and told from multiple POVs.

Clover is a photographer that is hired to follow a rock band for their rebranding tour, but the band she has to work with is The Devils, the three men she put in prison for a photograph she took five years earlier. Jax, Maverick, and Ansel hate her but take delight in knowing they have an opportunity to get some revenge and make her life miserable. Clover on the other hand has no choice but to keep this job in order to keep her psycho ex in the past. The story follows the four of them on tour and we see how each of their pasts bring them together in an unconventional way.

Tropes:

- Reverse Harem
- Strong Heroine
- 3 Hot, Badass Rockstars
- Dark Suspense
- Hot MF/MFM Scenes
- Enemies to Lovers
- Touch Her & Die
- Emotional Scars
- Forced Proximity
- Psycho Ex
- Revenge

I enjoyed this story, it was fast paced and kept me wanting more. I would recommend if you like dark, why choose themes. Thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for sending this book for review consideration.

JAX, MAVERICK, ANSEL, AND CLOVER

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review

Jax, Maverick and Ansel are members of THE DEVILS rock band. Because of a picture that Clover took of Jax, they spent five years in prison and lost their music careers. They are planning a comeback tour and need a photographer. Clover is sent to them and their ire at her deeds force them to make stringent rules to keep her from ruining them a second time. I like the way that the members fall in love with Clover and protect her from her abusive and psychotic ex. This story sated my desire for Clover to get revenge on her abusive ex and heal the broken band members from their deep-seated problems that made them undesirable when they were children. It also has the band members healing Clover. A must read for fans who abhor abusers.

I really enjoyed this book and I couldn’t put it down.
Clover is a photographer and five years ago she took a photo that almost ruined The Devils the rock band and she got on the wrong side of them. Now she has been assigned to be the photographer for The Devils while on tour. Jax, Maverick and Ansel are The Devils. The last time that Clover took photos of the band they were dropped by their label and lost a lot of revenue. Now Jax, Maverick and Ansel will have Clover on their tour where they think they can get back at her. What happens is that they get to know each other better and they become involved in a reverse harem. Will Clover’s past raise its ugly head? Will Jax, Maverick and Ansel be able to save Clover? Will Jax, Clover, Maverick and Ansel find love and happiness while on tour?

2.5 stars rounded up.

I have never read a band/ rock star romance, so I was really intrigued by this one. It is an enemy to lover, why choose, and suspense romance. It had a lot of great things going for it but ended up working for me. First the change from enemies to lover was way too fast. There was no build up, angst or any type of development between the love interest. It was pretty instant there was some history between them, and it was very brief. Second, some of the events in this book were very repetitive, the same type of scenario kept happening several times in this book. I got bored at times because of this. The plot was ok as well as the writing, but I would have enjoyed it more depth and development.
Trigger warnings: drug use, kidnapping, assault
I received an advance ebook, via Netgalley. This review is my own honest opinion.

I absolutely loved Rocked by her Devils. Clover doesn’t know what she’s going only that she needs the money but taking a job for your enemies isn’t smart. Being on a tour bus with Jax, Ansel and Maverick shouldn’t make her think the things she’s thinking. Things happened because of her, bad things. Can she make them understand why? The boys want recent but they want Clover more. When someone else comes after her they will stop at nothing to keep her safe. I loved this storyline and the characters. Each has their own struggles and life altering events but when you put them together there is so much love. I would definitely recommend this book. Be prepared with some tissues.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ansel, Jax, Maverick and Clover have a history and it wasn't what any of them wanted. However, now they are supposed to work together, and the guys make it plain how they feel about her. Clover needs the job so she will put up with whatever she needs to in order to finish her job. Its not long before things heat up between all four of them. Yet someone thing from the guys' past is back with some drama as well. Will this be a fresh start for them all?

This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy. This is my first book by this author by I'll definitely be looking for more by her.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book for Bad Boy Update.

ARC Rating 2.75/5 ⭐️

This is a dark RH romance story, with a dark, rock and roll style storyline.

The story follows Clover, a photographer, who has been assigned to Jax, Maverick and Ansel's band, The Devils’ Salvation, tour. This is an enemies-to-lover story, as the 3 of them blame her for ruining their public image 5 years ago.

I struggled to get into the story at first and just had to put it down and come back to it. This was an okay story, but I don't think it was for me. I didn't connect with any of the characters and I didn't feel like there was any character substance or development throughout.

The spice was well-written, and I did really enjoy the ending.

Thank you, NetGalley, Victory Editing, Rosa Holland, for sending this eARC for review. All opinions are my own.

Dark and steamy enemies to lovers story

The band has an understandable reason to be angry with Clover. They seize the chance of her job photographing their tour to explore revenge.

The difficulty of that is that there's as much attraction as anger between them, and Clover has more determination and confidence than they expected.

It's dark gray, maybe, but none of the sex between Clover and the band members is noncon; I don't even think I'd call it dubcon. There's some discussion of trauma from multiple characters' pasts, and one character struggles with addiction.

Despite all that, there's some real sweetness by the end. I know it's a book I'll reread.

★ “Buckle up, sweetheart.” ★

—>>> There was no choice really…Clover has to take this latest cushy photojournalist job, even though it will place her in the hands of the very same band members she helped put behind bars…after jeopardizing their record contract. Jax, Maverick, and Ansel set out initially to make her pay for what she did to them back when they were just starting to get noticed as a band, but as they learn more about the girl responsible, the more they understood her motivations. But is that and the time spent in her company enough for them to wish for more beyond their tour. Sexy, sweet, and enjoyed the characters in this story.
