While shelf reading in the Library I came across this book and immediately pulled it from the shelf because of the title. By Lizzie meant she wrote something. Then I saw the cover with Lizzie, a typewriter and her dog and knew I had to read it.
It was a great story. I loved that Lizzie wanted to write about a year in her life on her mom’s old typewriter. A typewriter her mom used, for a year, on a writing trip around the world. The nostalgia feeling of the connection between Lizzie and her mom warmed my spirit.
