I haven’t actually made anything out of this book yet (plan to update my review once I do), but I think I would/could make 90% of these recipes, and that’s a fabulous ratio for a cookbook! I already knew I needed to purchase a Vitamix and start making my own butters, etc., and this book convinced me it’s time.
If your missing that sweetness in your life since going raw or you want to add a bit more health to your desserts, this is a good book to have. The recipes are simple and easy yet some of them do require the use of a dehydrator. What I do like about her book and her other book is she gives you options to show you how to bake your goodies too if your pressed for time or would just like a little non-raw treat. I like the premise of adding as much raw into your life as you can but not beating yourself up about the parts that aren't.
Looking for naturally sweetened, allergy friendly recipes for anyone with a sweet tooth to enjoy? This is the perfect cookbook for you! Packed full with recipes that are dairy, soy, egg, and gluten free (and more), this is a great resource for families or anyone who shares my severe sweet tooth! As the recipes focus on using raw, healthier ingredients, there's no guilt about eating unhealthy food involved. These are recipes that nourish your mind as well as your cravings.
Really yummy ice cream recipe! Thank you! Mine turned out a little crunchy, but it's all good (just need a better food processor, methinks). Also, my go-to recipe book for holiday/gift treats. Bwa ha ha!
