Sara's tooth is wobbly and it hurts, but she's not ready for Papa to help it come out. To take her mind off the hurt, Sara creates an imaginary dragon-friend whose first loose tooth helps her know what to do about her own.
In this book, Sara's tooth was hurting. Her papa asked her if he could take it out. She knocked out a garbage can. She picked everything up and went to the garage. She found more things she needed. She made a dragon. His hurt was hurting, too. And Sara pulled the tooth out of the dragon. And she opened her mouth and her papa pulled her tooth out. I liked this book because Sara was making a craft. -by Felicity
The little girl has a sore loose tooth that she doesn't want pulled so she builds a dragon with a loose tooth. It's decent to choose to read when your child has a loose tooth but is scared to have it pulled. I like how Sara says things to her dragon that the adults say to her, like how it'll feel better when it's out.
A whiny little girl has a loose tooth that she won't let her Papa pull for her. After a snit, she grabs up some garbage and makes a pretend dragon that she pulls a loose tooth from. Only then will she condescend to having her Papa help her with her tooth.
Colorful presentation of the pain and fear of having a loose tooth and not wanting it pulled! It hurts like a dragon!! Great to use to help give youngsters ideas about how to be creative with "trash"!
