A fascinating and detailed handbook, it constitutes a veritable must-read for anyone who assumes the role of teacher apropos method acting and will also prove a valuable reference to discerning students of the subject. Couldn't finish because it was very long-winded and dull. The old-fashioned writing style made it hard to read. I'd still like to learn more about the Stanislavski method of acting, but maybe from another source that is more reader-friendly.
