Jerry Falwell was on the cusp of a movement in the 80's that led many in its wake to write and publish books on fasting. I am grateful for his bravery in writing on this subject in such an encouraging way.
One point of contention: Falwell states, "God does not use fasting to reveal special messages to us today [as He did with prophets of the past]." I disagree. Prayer and fasting are absolutely on-ramps to hearing the voice of God.
