The Collapse changed everything. Good men became killers. Strong women became property. And I’ve been captured by the most ruthless men of them all…
I’m a healer trying to survive in a violent, lawless land. Being captured by the infamous Steel Demons MC was never part of the plan. The MC president wants me to be the club’s new medic… and have me in his bed.
Reaper might be built for pleasure, but I mean nothing to him. He makes that clear when he suggests sharing me with his best friend. Jandro is the club's VP, and his flirting makes it clear it’s all a game to them. They claim me now but what happens when they get bored?
I’m caught between the fast, violent lifestyle of these men and growing feelings I can’t ignore. With a war on the horizon, being the chosen woman of a band of ruthless bikers doesn’t seem so bad. Especially not when they’ll do anything to protect me.
I need to find my place within this club that sees women as property, or escape and face the oncoming storm alone. It’s an impossible decision when I realize I’m falling in love with two men.
But when I start falling for a third? I’ll never be free again.
Sons of Anarchy meets The Handmaid's Tale in this spicy, fast-paced adventure! This omnibus volume contains the first three books in the Lawless, Powerless, and Fearless.
Literally devoured this in like two days?? I love it. Mariposa is a good female lead, she's definitely an amazing character on her own and doesn't have a personality change with magic dick. Each of the guys are very different and have totally different personalities which is important to me when reading RH books, otherwise it gets confusing and repetitive. I really like that although Shadow is obviously the "mysterious one" it didn't seem cliche or forced, and he has some trauma he's trying to get over but it doesn't seem rushed (also helps that the series is quite long). I did think it was kind of janky how she started sleeping with Reaper, like it just seemed sudden to me, although the way they introduced Jandro made sense, but whatever that's like my only gripe so who cares. I did like how the spin on it was that sharing a woman was considered (in some societies) as basically marriage or bringing your relationship to the next level, I'm not polyamorous in the least but I think the way the book goes about it is really lovely. I REALLY love the paranormal aspect of it, was not expecting that at all. Like the universe is already weird, let's just go with it, add a dog/man/ghost/whatever that telepathically communicates sort of and a falcon you can warg into, hell yes. I'm saving the next couple of books because I don't want to go through them too fast!
I’ve never been a huge fan of reverse harem novels but this has been one of my favorites. I enjoyed a slow build of relationships (though Mari fell quickly to Reaper).
The story takes place in the southern states of USA in a post apocalypse version of the world where women are objects and are not allowed to have an education. The US of A is no more than a rundown boca del infierno (hell mouth) where everyone is for themself.
Mari was just about to get her nursing license before the collapse and now she’s on the road helping people as she can… legally? She comes across a motorcycle gang that “steal” her away from a potentially bad situation. That’s where she meets Reaper, Jandro, Gunner, and Shadow. The book has different point of views between the 5 of them and is separated into 3 parts with some light flashbacks.
Everything about this book was done well. I’m eager to continue reading as this book did leave us with new information right at the end. I would be lying if my eyes didn’t water.
Read this book. It’s unexpected, it’s gritty. it’s unique.
Set after the collapse of America circa 2100, society has crumbled into chaos. Women are treated as commodities—used, traded, and often discarded. Various factions rule with their own ruthless laws, each more power-hungry than the last. Picture Mad Max meets The Handmaid’s Tale, where everything—even people—is bartered.
But don’t be fooled. This story isn’t just bleak survival—it’s gritty redemption. At its heart is a morally grey MC driven by their own code of honour. Surrounded by fierce, unapologetically hot men and a heroine who is as stunning as she is strong, this series oozes classic MC energy—with a heavy dose of spicy, gritty romance with more than one lover.
Amid betrayal, sex trafficking, violence, and impossible odds, there’s a unusual thread of supernatural spirituality/telepathy that binds it all together. It’s raw. It’s surprisingly believable, if you can imagine a different future. Can’t wait to read books four and beyond.
The concept of a biker gang in a post apocalypse world protecting a FMC who has been sheltered until now is literally my dream premise but I couldn’t get past chapter 1 because of the writing. Tried to read this more than once, but can’t stay immersed.
It feels very immature right from the prologue. Like a high school students writing. The world building is stilted and not as interesting or creative as the author thinks it is. All over the place but thinks it’s grand and unique. Show don’t tell could have gone a long way here to keep me engaged. No need to rattle off a bunch of facts of how the world has changed that weren’t very creative. Showing how the world changed as the story unfolds would have been much more relevant as well as intriguing. I couldn’t get past the first 10%. I reaaallly wanted to!
I fell in love with this series back when the first book came out, but I wanted to re read to see if my thoughts changed (which it did).
The audiobook was done beautifully, and this series is so detailed that the romance is spot on and the Spice is 🔥! This is a great combination of action, adventure, romance, war, and more. I couldn't put it down and was worth every moment.
Just a heads up, this is a longggggg series, and it's hard to stay on track when so much it is going on, but if you can take a weekend to listen or read it is worth it.
The world as we know it ended and what was left in its place is not for the faint of heart. The US was divided up into individual territories, each ruled by whoever was the strongest at that moment. Women were no longer allowed an education or jobs, no rights at all. Mariposa, freshly graduated from nursing college when the collapse occurred has been traveling the southwest looking for a place to make a difference, a place to use her knowledge to help others. As you well know, this is book involves a motorcycle club, the Steel Demons. I’m not going into any detail as to how they meet up. You need to see how their story begins and where it goes for yourself. You won’t regret the time you put into reading this omnibus.
Lawless :The day after Mariposa quailfies as a nurse. Women are forbidden from having jobs. THis story sets the back ground for the series. Mariposa now travels from place to pace working as a medic. When she meets the Steel Demons she thinks they are just like all the other thugs and bullies out there. When they abduct her, she is sure of it. Powerless: Book 2 focuses on Mari and Reaper's relationship they fight and they make up, we also get to know Gunner and Jandro better. Fearless:This series just gets better and better. The adventure continues I am loving this series so much. The narration is brilliant.
Ehh. Honestly I wanted to DNF several times but out it off.
I didn't particularly care for the FMC, she was kinda annoying. Almost acted entitled or bratty - this is a dystopian future where the odds are heavily stacked against females. So ber attitude rubbed me the wrong way ..
The men - the ones in the eventual harem with their condescending inner monologue on the women they f*ck on a regular basis. Was just gross.
Is this just a dystopian? What was with all the "weird feelings" or "vibes" everyone was getting about someone or felt something was wrong? And a dog that runs side by side along his owner & motorcycle? For hours?
I adore this series and love that it's not only out in omnibus form, but audio. Post apocalyptic US isn't a great place to live, especially for women, who've had their rights stripped back to the beginning of last century. Mariposa is a strong woman, who doesn't give up, just because she's being told women can't work, especially in medicine. So when the Steel Demons find themselves in need of a medic, and run into an intriguingly beautiful nurse-turned-medic, it's as if faith has had a say in it. Love Mariposa's, Reaper's, Gunner's, Jandro's and Shadow's story.
This series is refreshing. I read ALOT of RH books and series but this one is in my top 10 so far! The post apocalyptic feel and how what happened in this series could actually happen in real life has a way of really pulling you into this story.
The MFC is amazing, she is so strong and has found a way to survive in a world where woman are nothing more than cattle.
The MMCs have such great character depth and you can’t help but to love each of them in their own way!
I hate that it’s taken me so long to get to this series. But once I saw it was on audiobook, it was time to jump in. Crystal Ash has created an amazing world. With the way the dystopian future is played out it’s kind of scary to think of some of the similar scenarios we face in real life today. But this story is more than a MC Poly-romance, there are hidden secrets throughout. Can’t wait to continue.
This story is one of discovery, love, challenges and self-preservation. each character brings so much to the story, and they leave you aching for more before the book is even done. Their story is so unique and powerful in more ways than I could count, and it is worth every minute spent reading!!
This was an interesting story. I just found some of the writing awkward and clunky. Fir instance, throughout the book, Reaper is referred to as "President" instead of "Prez". It just seems too formal for an MC. Other than that, it was a decent book. I'll probably read the other books to hopefully complete the story.
you won’t want to put them down. or be sorry you read them
These are so different most mc books, but also the same. From the moment I started to read I was hooked. I didn’t want or could put theses down. I almost didn’t buy them. I’m so so glad I did. You love an mc with a different these are a must.
Wow I love this series so far . So much going on.. it grab my attention from the start.. can't wait to see gunner and shadow get there girl.. if ur looking for a reverse harem, motorcycle club, apocalypse, outlaws, sexy men, then this the book for you.
Dystopian but with elements of mysticism. I enjoyed books 1-3 they are well written and interesting. Great character development from them. I'm loving the supernatural aspects even though I have no clue what is going off.
Another amazing MC romance series. I am totally devouring it! The audiobook narrators did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. This is the first book and series I have read by this author and I cannot wait to read even more!
This was awesome. Lots of action, s*x, relationships between FMC and her MMCs, set in an MC - Steel Demons MC Club. Has some element of mystery involving telepathy between…you’ll see lol, no spoilers here!
This omnibus was so good I couldn't put it down. I love the entire thing. Hades is obviously my favourite and I can't wait to see how their relationships develop
