There has always been magic here. Wyches, werewolves, fairies, dragons, and more—the world has always been suffused with power. In safety and secrecy, they remained, until the twentieth century when the elders allowed the first solitum, those with no magical ability, and wych union. Of the four children borne, only half of them were wych. So began the Age of the Intertwined, when the knowledge of the child’s ability would be left to the fates, and only time would tell whether or not the child had the gifts of his forebears. And with orphaned children…everything, as it always is, becomes much more complicated.
