Starting with what I liked:
I loved that he was all in from the start, and never wavered. She jumped his bones real quick as well, and the rest was boring talk. I liked that when the hero pulls a girl on stage like usual, he dances and sings and then gives her to the other band member that cuffs her and dirty dances, so at least he doesn't do it. Also when he pulled Candy onstage he cuffed her and danced, so he did that to her and not to the other girls he pulled onstage. The other good thing was that the BDSM show was not his idea, but he was ok with it since it made the band famous, but he did nothing but pull a girl onstage, sing and dance, then the dirty stuff was done by another band member, so I liked that he separated himself from the sex play onstage.
What I didn't like, the fact that he knows she is all his, but he never talked about being all hers. What about his rock star life before they met. I would have loved if he said that groupies are not his thing, and never indulged. Did he fuck his groupies or not? He said, "He didn't want a groupie to fuck for the night, He wanted Candy for life". Ok, that's sweet, but I suppose no history at all is best. One thing is for sure, the way he fucks her, he knows what he is doing and the way he licked her neck when they just met (pulling her onstage and licking her neck), that man is experienced, and not all hers.
I also hated that we saw Roman again, it was good to see Raven, but she could have left her man at home. Loni Ree tried to show us that he is a good character, but in his book, he still had a fuck bed in his sex club, where he fucked women and then brought Raven to fuck her on that same nasty bed, so no I just got irritated by him.
It was meh, just them 'needing to talk", and all it was, was how to balance life, love and work. They do travel together on his tours, so that's good. It was short and just blah.

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Riley and Candy met at one of his concerts. Candy goes to a Sp*nked concert with her best friend Raven Tied to Roman. Candy gets pulled onstage by Riley, but when one of the other band members comes to take over he motions them away. Riley leaves Candy standing offstage with his manager. When Riley is finished he takes Candy back to his dressing room, Raven whats to know what his intentions are with her best friend. Riley tells Raven that he plans to make Candy fall in love with him. When Riley finishes his shower he takes Candy and they head to the afterparty. Riley introduces Candy to all his band members. Candy is asked by Raven if she wants to come back to the hotel with her and Roman but Riley tells her he'll take care of her. When the party starts to wind down Riley and Candy head to his hotel room. Riley tries to take things slow but Candy tells him she ready. Riley then pleasures Candy then they make love. The following morning Riley's phone is ringing he answered to find it's Raven wanting to know where Candy is. Riley tells Raven that Candy spend the night with him and he's in love with her. Candy tells Riley he told her best friend he's in love with her before he told her. Riley tells Candy it's true he's in love with her. Candy tells Riley she thinks she's in love with him also, but hey need to talk. Riley tells Candy they need a shower then breakfast and they can talk. After a shower, Candy tells Riley that she does love him but they need to slow things down. Candy tells Riley about her parents wanting a career over a kid and she doesn't want that. Riley agrees to anything because he wants Candy. Riley decides to get an apartment in SSF to be close to Candy. After Winter Break, Candy asks Riley why he bothered renting an apartment the suggests he move in with her and he agrees. Candy is dreading in three months that Riley will be off on his international tour. Candy's job at SSF school isn't going so well when everyone finds out who she's dating. Candy comes home and Riley tells her they need to talk. Candy he tells her he can't leave her for months at a time. Candy tells Riley she's been thinking the same, she wants to go on tour with him. Riley asks Candy about her job and she tells him she has a trust fund and they wouldn't have to work a day in their life. Riley tells Candy he has enough money to support them the wants her trust fund to go to their kids. Riley makes sure Candy's not going to miss her teaching job but she has an online teaching position lined up. Riley and Candy are in this together forever. Two years later, Candy is pregnant with their first child and thinks this will be her one and only time. When the tour ended Riley retired and started writing music part time. Tonight the band is kicking off in Houston and Riley is making a surprise appearance. Candy knows how lucky she is, life is good.

Fast paced rock star romance.
Candy, a high school teacher goes with her friend, Raven to see the band Sp*nked and catches the eye of the lead singer Riley. During one of their most popular songs they always pull a woman from the front row to dance with on stage then another band member handcuffs the woman and pretends to do light BDSM acts to her.
When Riley pulls Candy onto the stage he doesn’t let his bandmate touch her, he cuffs her and gets kinky with her. Then has his manager hold on to her until after the concert. He asks her to the after party and Candy agrees to go with him. Her friend Raven warns Riley to treat Candy right, Raven is an executive for his record label. He tells her he will take good care of her.
The two head to his hotel room after and have their first time together, she’s a virgin no mention of his past. I would have liked them to talk about protection. He’s a rock star and has brought her to his room for all she knows he does this after every concert. They have unprotected sex and during he tells her he wants to breed her. I love yous and after two rounds of unprotected sex Candy tells him she wants to wait to have kids. Maybe she knows her cycle and knows it’s not a good time to become pregnant but shouldn’t that talk have happened before unprotected sex?
They pretty much move in together and Candy decides she will quit teaching in person and do online teaching and Riley asks her to join him on tour.
Epilogue two years later with him quitting the band and becoming a full time song writer, her pregnant.

She is a high school English teacher and he is the lead singer in a successful rock band. She attends one of his concerts with her best friend and her husband. When Riley sees her in the audience, he is smitten. He knows she is his soulmate and works to make her his. Can he? To find out, you must read this book.
Ms. Ree demonstrates her mastery of literary devices—characterization, dialog, dual POV, and descriptive language. The lead characters are strong, independent, and multi-dimensional. The dialog, both conversational and internal monologues reveal the inner essence of Candy and Riley. The descriptive scenes allows readers to feel they are there as first-hand witnesses.

Loved Riley and Candy. This was fast paced but led to a wonderful hea with no drama or angst.
