Good addition to the series, continues on from the first book, which should definitely be read first. Austin and Puck are sweet together and I enjoyed watching their ups and downs caused by miscommunications. The babies, of course, are still adorable and I liked seeing the new familiar. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Jules, he is the only unmated one left. I bet it’s going to be a doozy!

Each book in this series just gets better and better!

I generally like any book with dragons in it, but Minerva How's books are some of the very best! Can't wait to start on book three of this series!

It was really sweet. Even though I wish the angst between Puck and Austin at the beginning had been more explored, there was enough tension with the prophecy to push the plot forward. The different dragon stories from the veil universe meet here, and it feels like an "end of an era" is approaching. I'm beyond excited over what will come in the next book!

Things Get Even More Mysterious

Things go from crazy to even crazier in this book. It does seem like we may find out about the "good" place soon though. I can't wait to get to book three.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Amazing!!!

Minerva Howe you slay me. Talk about a book hooking your emotions. So much love in here. There were a couple of times I got so anxious about what was going on I had to put the book down for a few minutes so I could settle myself before reading more. Though I have to admit I have a love/hate feeling for the ending. I loved how it ended but hate waiting for the next one lol. Please keep them coming.

**4.5**
We're back in the Dragon Veil universe and the plot follows on from book one so it's recommended to read the series in order. I love how Minerva Howe writes these dragon series, full of love, family and fated mates. The way the family works together to be there for each other throughout and deal with any emergencies that crop up is both heartwarming and entertaining to read, except when someone is actually in trouble of course.
This book has Puck and Austin, who came to the compound when his brother, Dustin, met his mate, Andy, who is Puck's brother. They definitely have a false start or two but once they get their thoughts and actions in the right order, there is no stopping them being together. Both men's happiness shines from them and they help everyone as they move forward in growing the family home but there is also danger ahead as they continue to look into what is coming for their people in the dragon prophecies.
Another enjoyable story from Minerva Howe and I'm excited to see how things turn out for Jules, the final unmated brother, and what happens with the dragon prophecies.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

3.5 stars. It was a nice story about a group of dragons and the mysterious happenings in magic and mountains around them, but it felt more like a journal of day to day events rather than focused adventure/romance, it was quite slow at times to get through.

The romance between Puck and Austin had been set up in the first book of the series, and this continued in the start of this book with some misunderstanding which soon got cleared up. We are introduced to new characters and a potential mate for the remaining brother by the end of the book, and more questions to answer in the magical world of change which will be continued in the next book (I hope!).

One thing I do love in this series are the familiars that appear for the babies, a new familiar appears in this one, thanks to the coyote familiar.

Just one comment on the ARC copy - the text messages look like they need more formatting, as they start with a highlight then are just a series of sentences without highlight, which makes it tricky to work out who's texting, so hopefully that'll be addressed for the main release.

I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.

A gripping and also sweet addition to the series

I adore this series and the amazingly sweet, gentle and protective dragons in it. These guys have such wonderful spirit. Omegas are just as capable, just as fierce in their protection as alphas which is a joy to see. The whole family is always so supportive; they lift each other up and support each other even when they’re scared or unsure of what’s coming. Austin and Puck were super cute. Yes there was miscommunication sometimes but it was worked through. They talked. They listened and even though mistakes might have been made or misunderstandings arose they worked to get through it and build an even stronger foundation. I’ll admit, this one is a little more intense as things start to really happen that the dragons don’t really understand. It’s a little scary but mostly in that way that new things and change is. The unknown is frightening but can also bring amazing things. I’m psyched about what comes next (and convinced it will be good and beautiful and wondrous). I’m also super excited for Gavin and Jules!

CLOUD DRAGON is the second book in the Dragon Prophecy series and, although it says you can read it as a standalone, I would definitely recommend you read it as part of the series. I haven't read book one and felt the loss of it.

Although I enjoyed the story, with the gnomes, the babies, and the mountain, I did struggle to fully comprehend it sometimes when it wasn't always clear who was speaking telepathically to whom. The timeline is also fast-paced and leaps ahead in places.

This is so much more than a paranormal romance. I would put it in the family saga category too. There is a lot going on with different dragons and wolves mentioned in different locations. I enjoyed this story but felt a little disconnected from it.

When I met Puck in the first book in this series, I thought he was absolutely adorable and I was looking forward to finding out more about him and spending more time with him. Cloud Dragon did not disappoint! I stand firm in my opinion that Puck is perfectly adorable. He is shy and soft-spoken, but has an underlying strength that is amazing and evident.

I enjoyed getting to know Austin better, too. I already liked his character, and he and Puck pair up perfectly. It was a treat to see their journey, while discovering more about the mountains and strange occurrences.

I love when I can dive into a series and spend more time with characters that I’ve come to know and love, especially when some of those characters are kids and more kids, and pets and more pets (or familiars). Kids and pets delight me and make me smile when I witness their innocent shenanigans.

Cloud Dragon is a great addition to the series. I’m excited to see Jules get his story and to continue learning more about the strange things happening and coming in their world.

As much as Puck likes Austin, he is convinced that Austin is not for him. Austin, though, knows that Puck is the one and he is not going to let Puck hide from him any longer. He starts by buying him presents, which Puck decides to return the gesture. With a little help and after several false starts, the two come together and realize how beautiful life is as mates. Unfortunately, they have to deal with more than confidence issues. There are a growing number of babies and they have found some ancient dragon texts which reveal a prophesy.

It is so much fun to watch the family grow. They all pitch in help and make sure they all thrive. When trouble comes, they know they can count on each other. The romance between Puck and Austin was so sweet and loving, sure to bring a smile to your face. The books and the prophesy are quite intriguing and affect some of our friends from other books. The ending will leave you looking for the next book which is not too far in the future. This series is incredibly enjoyable.

This is the second book in the Dragon Prophecy series and while you can read this book as a standalone, I highly recommend reading them in order, as there are some great past characters in this book. Not only that, but you really need to read the first book to understand what is going on with the family dynamics and why they are building where they are building. In the first book you meet both of the MC’s and get an inkling that they are fated mates. In this book, we get the fated mates and all the feel good emotions that this author develops so well in her works. It was not as steamy as I prefer my MM romance, but it was still a really good book to read. I enjoyed the dynamics between them and watching their romance blossom over time. And even though they were complete opposites, they fit perfectly and were truly meant to be. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

I loved this book!

This series is awesome! It’s Puck’s turn to find his mate and it’s Austin. At first, Puck can’t believe Austin is actually the Alpha for him but after a few bumps, they finally come together. All is well in their home as they begin to expand the caves to give the growing family more room. They will meet a wonderful family of gnomes and it adds some wonderful times to the tale. But there is something strange happening and they can’t seem to find the answers in their books. As Austin and Puck get ready to start their own family, the answer will come from one of the little ones and it will bring them all hope. Filled with love, family and some adorable little ones, this book is an absolute must read!

I read an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

4,5 stars. These information dragons love their books, and that's a good thing, because they need all the knowledge they can get their hands on when their world goes haywire. Meanwhile, Puck and Austin continue to seek and avoid each other. Luckily, they share a love of ice cream, apple pie and bacon :). The characters are likable and have some emotional baggage and insecurities. I loved the family time, sweet romance and fun mixed with the suspense of the Dragon Prophecy and some action. Overall, this is a sweet, lighthearted story with an increasing amount of mystery toward the end, and a strong series cliffhanger. This story can be read on its own, but I personally recommend reading at least the first story first because most of the world-building takes place in that story. I started with this story and it took me a while to fully understand the world and characters.

Poor Puck is so sure that Austin is not looking at him and wanting him. In his mind he has given Austin away to his brother. But Austin sees Puck, wants Puck and gets some help from their family members to help Puck realize that he is the one that Austin wants. Then things get interesting in addition to sweet as their love bears fruit that communicates with them before he gets here. This is such a sweet collective where the care of one another and their offspring is everyone's concern. They are still trying to work out the mystery that overarches this set of stories but I can't wait also for Jules, brother number 3, to find his guy. I really enjoyed this story and it read too fast since I now have to wait for the next one for a bit.

This is a typical Minerva Howe book in that it is almost written in a 'stream of thought' style - tons of dialog and thought with little description No major plot issues - just a steady climb on the overarching plot line with little dips and dives inserted. The blurb says can be read as a stand-alone, but if you have not read all of the preceding series and #1 in this one, you will be missing 3/4 of the context and all of the world-building.

I enjoy reading these books when I am in the mood for a light, fluffy, exploding with-love, and topped off with male-pregnancy and babies story. It also helps if I do not want anything that will provoke thought.

Definitely, missing any character development and world development? Well, it is there - just not well-balanced as the majority is, as previously mentioned, in other books.

I am loving this series. There is an overarching prophecy/mystery we explore in book one, so you definitely should read these from the beginning for context. Puck is sweet, loving and loveably adorable in his insecurity about relationships. Watching him pine for Alpha Austin, yet struggle internally about his worth sort of broke my heart a bit.
There is a little bit of angst between these characters as they struggle, as many of us do in finding themselves as they begin a relationship. Couple that initial struggle in the face of a mystery that comes to a dramatic head, and you have a very compelling and entertaining story.
I am waiting with baited breath for the next installment of this series.

I'm so glad Puck finally works things out with his mate. He is the sweetest dragon, and Austin is his perfect match! And the babies are adorable and funny, as usual in Ms. Howe's books!
This book is a bit different from the others in the Dragon Veil Universe, some strange things happen, and there are many questions about what is happening to dragons (and their friends) all over the world. My only complaint would be that the ending seems a bit rushed, but at the same time, it really makes me want to read the next book (Jules!).

If you like stories with low angst, fated mates, lots of snuggles, and sweet babies, then you will want to read Cloud Dragon!

I'm enjoying this delightful series with wonderful dragons. This book 2 with the shy but cutie cloud dragon Puck and his alpha dragon Austin is getting us closer and closer to the magical veil. There are references to other clutches from different series so it's good to know some of their stories to get the overall feel of this dragon world. Puck and Austin mating and love is throughout along with the love and support of the brothers...Plus there is more introduction to new magical creatures that make this all around entertaining and intriguing. The cute brothers are finding their dragon mates and there are more surprises I bet in the next book...I can't wait!

3.5☆ to be honest.

I found some parts of the story to be a little predictable, Puck feels like hes not good enough for alpha he wants. Austin isnt sure how to go about making Puck feel wanted.
The adoration of the uber smart kiddos.

Some parts follow similar veins in previous dragon books. The introduction of the next pairing, the familiars and babies telling the parents their name and gender.

I loved that we still have references to the Estes and Utah cluches. Even the wolves get a mention

HOWEVER, this book holds a twist, what has happened to the moms, the mountain and the other clutches......

I love all of these dragons! With each series we meet some new friends and the overall family is expanding. Puck and Austin couldn’t be more perfect for each other. They just have to work out the kings first. Loved it! The babies are also amazing. I think I have a soft spot for the bears. I admit to being worried about my favorite clutch of dragons though up in Utah. I have been enjoying the fact that all of these guys have finally been connected together. I can’t wait to see how this unfolds. I can’t say much without getting too spoilery but I am an pins and needles waiting for Jules’s book.

Aww - I love this dragon universe that Minerva Howe has created! Puck and Austin’s story has a bit more turmoil in it than usual, but I love where this overarching story is going!

Austin has known Puck was his mate since his twin brother Dustin brought them to the dragons’ home in the mountains. But Puck was resistant, not knowing how Austin could like plain old him. I loved watching them woo each other and fall in love, even when things were uncertain with the family. They were such a sweet match, though unexpected, and were so supportive of each other through it all.

Can’t wait to see where the next book takes us and to see where all of these dragons are disappearing to!

Stop running! Your mate is right there... and he wants you.

This book is amazing! True, I it answers some questions, but leaves a lot up on the air. Dragons and bears and gnomes, oh my. This world is so vivid and alive. I was welcomed back with open arms. This is a fantastic place where babies talk from in the womb, familiars turn up, and a mountain is alive. Puck and Austin will find each other. I couldn't put this book down. I wanted to stay here forever. But this is not the end. The next book should answer the prophesy. And Jules should get his mate. I cannot wait! You are gonna love this book as much as I do. Get. It. Now!

I have not read any of this author's previous series, but have been able to keep track of everything easily. It is necessary to read this series in order though. This book picks up directly after Mist Dragon, and the overall plot is not resolved here. There is actually quite a bit going on, and I desperately need the next book to get the answers to the questions. Puck is adorable, and Austin is tough and sweet. Chaos ensues with all the babies, and the addition of some new characters. An easy read, with enough spice to keep you happy, and more plot than you expect. Looking forward to Jules' story.

Puck and Austin consistently got their signals crossed. According to Puck, how could an alpha like Austin be interested in him. Austin kept trying to find ways to be near Puck so he could see that Austin was really into him.

After so many reboots, can they really manage to come together? Their mating was a well deserved work in progress. The support of family, friends, mutual wooing and of course the need to remain close as there were really big changes already happening to dragonkind and there were more to come.

Magical world is going wild!

Austin and Puck story was interesting with a side of heartache when the communication was faulty and feelings were hurt.
The have a long way to happiness and had to seriously work on the communication and sharing thoughts and feelings as well as getting over the fears of harm and start believing in their bond.
We also have a couple of mysteries, new friends to join the field and lots of books, shenanigans of the little ones, and love.
I enjoyed the read and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

This 2nd book in the Dragon Prophecy series was sweet, heart-wrenching and hilarious with a total family of supportive members and adorable children. Austin and Puck stumbling through their relationship trials, with mysterious angst toward this story's ending that I only hope will be addressed in the next book. There are also strong hints of what relationship potential there could be between Jules and head honcho Gavin to arouse this reader's curiosity. This is my voluntary and honest review for the GRR ARC I received.

Puck is am omega dragon shifter. His family has been doing their best to to collect information and about dragon magic and prophecy. When his brother mates another dragon that found them, he is excited. Then he meets his brother's mates brother, Austin. Austin is interested in Puck but Puck feels like he is unworthy of such a fantastic dragon as Austin. Austin isn't giving up though. He will do whatever it takes to make Puck his. When Puck gives him a chance, the two get closer but troubled times are on their way.

I'm so-so with this one ... Now, it's Puck & Austin, and after a bit of mis-assumputions, it's on track and it's sweet, loving and adorable. Then, there's a threat which seems to affect all dragons...... this book does end on HFN but there is an ongoing thread/threat (and with that, I'd say you need to read the books in order. Other series - just for reference of where they are and the characters....). I did enjoy the book but it just felt like it was filling-in. Will still finish off the series.

If you love big crazy family gatherings, young children and babies, babies on the way, lots and lots and lots of food (dragons have big appetites!), and a mystery behind it all, then this book may be the one for you. Austin and Puck have some gorgeous moments in the pool, and they’re building their family while having to protect it from a mystery they don’t understand yet. There’s an HEA for them, but the mystery is still unsolved…to be continued, presumably.
