Dr. Jack Williams, my secret college fling and old-time nemesis, and my brother's Best Man. Damn, he looks good, just as I remember him, but even better, hotter and he's looking at me like he wants to get in my pants ten minutes ago.
For my brother and his soon-to-be new bride's sake, we need to keep to ourselves and work together to pull this wedding off for the happy couple.
Jack's impossible. He argues, then apologizes, and looks at me like I'm his next dinner; yet refuses to touch me until he does and boy does he…
OK, I tell myself just this one time.
Whatever, twice, and I can't stop thinking about him.
Could Jack be it, my forever love? Or...is he doomed to live as one glorious, beautiful memory in my convoluted mind.
A Do A Brother's Best Friend, Enemies-to-Lovers Romance is a frisky good time of a hometown wedding in Oregon with a grumpy aloof Widowed Single Dad as the Best Man and the former college fling Maid of Honor who’s the sassy girl next door sister of the groom. This book has no cheating, stands alone, oozes playfulness with desire, and ends with a happy ending.
I loved this enemies to lovers, brother’s best friend romance. I was hooked right from the beginning. It’s definitely something I would recommend for those who like short enemies to lovers books.
They were together back in college, but during this book is the first time they’ve seen each other. They don’t expect to see each other either. This is at Sophie’s brother’s wedding and they are the Maid of Honour and Best Man. They’re put into a guesthouse together for the duration until the wedding is over, which is about 2 weeks. During this time they are also helping the bride and groom with the preparations for the wedding.

When Sophie accepts to be maid of honor at her brother - Andrew's wedding but it puts her back in the sights of her brothers best man and friend - Jack. Unearthing long held hurt, unresolved feelings and lots of lust on both sides. With them being forced into close proximity by having to live together for two weeks and all of the responsibility of wedding duties it makes them confront all of their problems.
It was a bittersweet read with steam, banter and a sad backstory but at the heart of this book was a story about 2nd chances as well as opening yourself up to find love again. A great read with characters I genuinely liked.

This was a fun, engaging book. I liked both of the main characters. I would have liked more depth to the story though. The writing could also be better sometimes, but it was a good read overall.

I really enjoyed how everything played out in this story. The characters were so awesome. There was some drama, great laughs, and good chemistry. Very enjoyable read.
This is a brother’s best friend, enemies to lovers romance that I enjoyed. It was easy reading and the characters were likeable.
Sophie hasn’t been back home for years but returns for her brother’s wedding as she is maid of honour. The best man is Jack, her brother’s best friend. They have to work together to help with the finishing touches of the wedding. I liked reading about their chemistry and the hurdles that get in the way of their own HEA.
I look forward to read more from this author.

The Do Over is a short and steamy second chance, brother's best friend romance. Sophie returns home to Oregon after 5 years for her brother Andrew's wedding. She is to be the maid of honor. Jack is the hot doctor and single dad who is Andrew's best friend and the best man. He also happens to be Sophie's ex. Jack is struggling after his wife's death, and Sophie clearly resents how things ended between them years ago. But when they are thrown together for two weeks to help with the wedding, both old and new feelings resurface. They share some steamy passion, but neither one is great at communication. After some ups and downs, we do get a great HEA. Loved this short and spicy story. The couple had great chemistry. Definitely recommend!.

I think the idea of this book was a good one but I think it left too much out of the story, it would probably have been better as a longer story.
We have Jack who has come to be best man at his best friends Andrews wedding, and Sophie who is Andrews sister, and maid of honour. These two have a history and now they're being put together, not only for wedding tasks, but in the same house.
Possibly slight spoilers below:
I would have liked to know what happened at college between them a bit more, why Jack left. Would also have liked to hear the conversation between sophie and Jerry the night everyone thought they slept together because it sounds like it was a little heartfelt. We also lose a few days here and there where we don't know what they were up to.

I think that Jack and Sophie were likeable characters, but unfortunately I feel like the storyline was a bit jumpy and wasn't very smooth. Some parts seem to come out of nowhere and either have no resolution or have a rushed one. The ending was also rushed and I thought that Jack could have and should have growled more as Sophie was very hurt and upset by him. I was a bit disappointed with Jack as a single dad only because we don’t get to see many instances where he’s around or interacting with his son. It's almost as if he wasn't a single parent because him having a son didn't have a very big impact on the story like I thought it would based on the description and tags.

Jack was Sophie's brother's best friend and her short 'secret' college fling that didn't end well. Fate brings them together again at her brother's wedding in Oregon, where she's the maid of honor and he's the best man. They agreed to help with the planning and are assigned to the same guest house. The chemistry's still there and things get a little steamy. Some conflict from an uninvited guest adds to the drama, and communication problems increase the angst. He is still mourning his wife's death and trying to raise his son alone. There wasn't much backstory or interaction with his son. But over all this was a good romance that I enjoyed with an HEA you'll like. Dr Jack Williams is a rich single dad who is her brother's best friend she loves to hate and has a history with. Sophie is a burnt-out ex-lawyer turned nanny who hasn't been home in years and has returned home for her brother's wedding. She's the Maid of Honour, he's the Best Man, and they have to share a guesthouse for two weeks while they help the happy couple make their wedding perfect.
These two have great chemistry and have great banter.
I thought the book started a bit rushed, while I hate a story that drags on, I also want some character development and depth.

This book was a quick read. These short novellas always leave me wanting a little more. While I understand that the author needed to find a reason to pair these enemies together, it seems pretty unrealistic that a bride and groom would wait until 2 weeks before their wedding for many of the tasks, let alone make their best man and maid of honor make those choices.
Regardless of the strange circumstances, this book is well written. The story did keep me engaged and I did want to know why they disliked each other and if they would eventually end up together in the end.

I loved this short enemies to lovers book about Sophie and her brothers best friend Jack. They were a think back in college but she hasn’t seen him in 8 years and when her brothers gets married back home she doesn’t expect to see him there. Jack is a widowed single father and when he shows up he doesn’t expect to see Sophie Davis. How could he forget her? So when they are paired to stay together and help plan the wedding for the next two weeks what will happen?? Such a great book!!

Jack and Sophie's banter had me glued to the pages. He is her brother's best friend and is the best man at his upcoming wedding that they have come together to plan for her brother. Stuck in the guesthouse together for two weeks planning a wedding led to a lot of arguing and apologies. In the end will it also lead them along the path of matrimony. This is a well written story that had me connecting with Sophie and Jack.

2.5⭐️wow isn’t Sophie easy… he dumped her in the past (still don’t know the true reason behind it) and she’s ready to go back so easily after been treated like shit a few more times. He never once stood up for her, ditched her every damn time and treated her like NOTHING and for someone like Bethany?? Are you for real??? whyy is it so hard to put that Bethany in her place!! Ughhh she’s rude and unworthy and yet he prioritized her over Sophie like wtfff!! You’re only in it when it’s convenient for you buddyyy. He’s so not worthy of sophie im so done
This book was such a cute romance story. Jack and Sophie have an unsteady relationship and you find out why throughout the book. Jack is a billionaire single dad whole Sophie is a lawyer turned nanny. They are brought together by Sophie's brother's wedding. The banter and absolute sass between these characters is awesome. The spice was also a nice touch. I wish this book was longer.

This is a sweet romantic story. A feelgood romans with an enemies to lovers plot that will make you want to read on until you are done. Could easily have been longer, it was an easy and enjoyable book so I wouldn't have minded it to go on in more details. It's perfect for a sommer read on the beach or in front of the fire in the winter.

This is a fun brother’s best friend, enemies to lovers romance. An enjoyable easy read. She returns home after years of absence to her brother’s wedding as the maid of honor. She has a problem with the best man, her brother’s best friend as they were together back in college and it didn’t end well. They have to work together to help with the wedding, so there is drama, great laughs, and good chemistry. Very enjoyable read.
Jack used to date Sophia in college then broke up with her. Years later Jack and Sophia are to the the best man and maid of honor at Sophia’s brother Andrews wedding. They have been asked to help the bride and groom with whatever is needed. They work great together until a woman from the past shows up. This was an okay read for me, it didn't really grab me and I didn't really care for Jack, the male character in the book.

The Do Over is a brother's best friend, enemies to lovers romance. The story line was realistic. Jack Williams has matured in the last few years. Sophie Davis has tried to move on after their encounter in college.

Sophie's brother, Andrew, is getting married. In two weeks. Sophie is maid of honour and she is going to be spending the next two weeks in Oregon with Andrew, bride-to-be Emily and some of the wedding party helping with final arrangements.
Jack is Andrew's best friend. He is best man. He is also spending two weeks helping with the final wedding arrangements because Andrew offered to find him a nanny for his little boy Aidan.
Jack and Emily have an unresolved past. They had a short relationship at College which did not end well, neither knew the other would be spending these two weeks helping out and they certainly didn't know they would be given a small house together for the duration. They have no idea that Andrew is trying to help them talk, patch things up.
There are complications. Of course there are. The primary one comes in the form of Bethany, an uninvited guest and unwanted ex of Jack's who will do everything she can to push Jack and Emily further apart as they try to reconcile. Jack is also trying to come to terms with being able to have a relationship, love, after loosing his wife and becoming a single dad. Emily is trying to forget and move on from the past.
The result is two weeks of turmoil, fun but turmoil, passionate love and passionate arguments, the resolution comes in a simply beautiful turn of events.
A lovely, fun, angsty romance with a beautiful HEA.
