I had a different expectation for this when I bought it. I have limited knowledge of the Dutch occupation days other than knowing that their presence was in what is modern day Tainan and following their retreat a brief presence in modern day Tamshui so I was hoping for more insight. While there is historical background, for me it falls short of what I was hoping for
