This was a great overview of the style. I especially enjoyed the history of the style to see the overlap between Master Wing Lam's lineage and my own (Shaolin Wahnam). The book provides a brief overview of many sets, but doesn't go into great depth on any of them, which is actually a good thing since they cannot be learned from a book. There was also an excellent history of the lion dance and many interesting historic anecdotes. I particularly liked this book because my specialization in my school is actually a Hoong Ka set. I will not add any criticism of this book as that would be disrespectful to a master of a style that I respect very much.
