The summer of 1994 was when it all changed for humanity, when civilization came crashing down and mankind was left floundering in the darkness.
It started with power stations being enveloped in dark fogs and then destroyed by what became known as ‘the Shadow.’
The Shadow started to grow, and then move. Rolling into towns and villages, it began taking life and altering the land where it passed. Trees, plants, and animals were twisted and broken, creating a hellish landscape.
But there was still hope.
Humanity adapted and fought back and did not go gently into the darkness.
When Shadows Fall is a roleplaying game set in a UK very different from our own.
There is no power, save for what people can generate at great risk to themselves.
A menacing presence strikes at night and lurks in the shadows.
This is a dark game with mature themes and a very grim outlook on life.
You will play those struggling to survive in this post-apocalyptic world.
Will you do what it takes to survive, or fall to the Shadows?
