Writing is my passion. I love romance, but each book I write has a subgenre that is just as strong as the romance. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I love writing them.

I was recommended by a friend to read this book, and I’m glad they did. I found the story gripping and loved the characters. The way the author wrote the story was very unique, and I thought it was fantastic. Highly recommended.
The Countdown by Jupiter Rose starts with some musings in idyllic surroundings in Durango, Colorado by its protagonist, Justice. Her father is disabled and she has lost her mother to a violent crime. She manages her father's farm all by herself. That's when a paroled convict, Raymond Storm comes storming into her life. Given what happened to her mother Justice is initially opposed to Storm and she resents him at each turn but then soon their attraction turns into love.
Then Justice's world starts crumbling around her when she realizes the life she has been living is a lie. Her life is not what she assumed it to be and there is no one she can trust, except Storm. From the placid environment on the farm the next thing you know, she and Storm with help of some friends are on the run.
But that's not all . Justice will still find out that there are secrets in the past that have been kept from her, big secrets that could make or break her heart and then finally at one point she is ready to sacrifice herself to protect Storm. What could be a greater love?
The Final Countdown is action packed, filled with family drama and romance and will keep you engaged and at the edge of your seat throughout.
Justice leads a quiet life, tending to horses on her family ranch. She cares about her father, bound to a wheelchair after a vicious attack, as a result of which, Justice lost her mother. It seems that a young woman has already had her share of grief. Alas, she cannot imagine that everything she thought she knew is about to turn into a horrible lie.
Justice feels confused when her father announces that he has offered to take on a released convict so that he can complete his community service on their ranch. She is a God-fearing woman, and she struggles with distrust towards someone who, she thinks, might be the same as the people who killed her mother and injured her father. Justice wants to show sympathy and tries to believe that redemption is possible for those who have made mistakes in their lives. Yet, it doesn’t come easily. But, from the moment that Justice lays eyes on Raymond Storm when he climbs down his bike, all her preconceived prejudice turns upside down. The convict, whom she had imagined as a violent, rude, and indifferent criminal, might turn out to be a man of her dreams.
A second-chance romance? Love leading a sinner to redemption? Yes, it might seem familiar. But prepare for your jaw to hit the floor. Almost immediately after Storm arrives at the ranch, the events make a head-spinning turn. And keep speeding up, swirling along the way, until the very last page.
“The Countdown” by Jupiter Rose is fast-paced and suspenseful, offering a sinister outlook at the criminal circles that operate under perfect covers, often in plain sight of unsuspecting folk.
Oh wow, I really loved this romantic suspense! Justice Gray has grown up on her parents’ ranch in Durango, Colorado, taking care of the horses, and recently, grieving the death of her mother and caring for her disabled father. When a paroled convict is assigned to work on the ranch for community service, she is against it, but she and Storm quickly form a connection. I did not see where this was going at ALL! This starts off with home cooked meals, apple pie, mucking out stalls and horses… and then things get CRAZY in the best way! It turns out Justice may not be able to trust the people she thought she could trust, and she and everyone close to her, are in grave danger, and by the people she would have least expected. I loved seeing how far the rabbit hole this one went, and loved the family drama and the twists towards the end especially. 5/5 stars.

Life is hard for Justice. Her work with the horses she loved was her only comfort for a long time. Her mother dead, or so her father said, and he was wheelchair bound, or so he wanted Justice to think he was. That gives a tiny speck of this novel away. In rides a newly freed from prison man to help out at the ranch. Was he going to kill or rape her? Would he be trouble? Why was mud on her father's boots? What is Justice blocking out? Could the unimaginable happen more than once? This novel has all the feels and more.
“The Countdown” starts off with a look at Justice, a young woman who lives a quiet existence on a horse ranch with her crippled father, but the story quickly becomes a tense thriller with high stakes and a twisty plot. (Trigger warnings for rape, child/women trafficking, and violence) Before long, Justice is on the run and struggling with the notion that everything she had believed was a lie. There is also a romance with several spicy scenes. This book will keep you captivated until its thrilling end!
Justice and Storm stoke my heart! In a whirlwind of a dark and dangerous situation they find one another. They fall in love amidst all the chaos. They along with some good friends take on unspeakably dangerous men, running for their lives. Its a gripping tale of good and evil. A world of grey that is a tough one to navigate. Loved it so much I read it in one sitting!
Who doesn't like a dramatic romance? Storm is a strong guy with a past. Justice is a gal raised on a farm and a daddy with many secrets. My heart was racing with the couple's dark path, and they got closer to the truth with every page. Justice's father sent his men to find his daughter and Storm, even if it came with a cost—the action-romance with twists and plots to keep you engaged. I highly recommend the book.
