Rate this book
Horsemen - Captive Stallion By Kate Hill For years Susana and Moor have buried their attraction to one another. Susana, a human healer, is much younger than the shapeshifting Horseman who is also her best friend's foster father. In their minds, anything more than friendship is unacceptable—until they experience the legendary dream sharing that binds a Horseman to his destined mate. With Moor's help, Susana overcomes her fear of flying to ride her lover in the most famous endurance race in the world. Their happiness seems as fated as their love. Then Moor's life is endangered, and Susana must risk everything to save him.

book 2 in the series (read 2 , 3 , 4 and 5) and i loved this one .. i loved that it was not just 1st person view (like they had it from the perspective of both Moor and Susana ... and esp liked when Moor was captured and we had his view of what life was like (albiet short there)in the mines as a slave and we got to see how him and Zach (book 3 hero) met as fellow captives/ slaves .. it was only briefly touches on on book 3 about life in the mines as a slave as Zach was younger and he wanted to forget what it was like there

was a good love story too and the romance/ lovemaking scenes were sexy but not too overly graphic ....
would recommend to anyone whos been reading this series (but even if ya read it out of sequence you dont feel like ya miss the series .. each book introduces characters so ya get to meet old friends in the new ones)

Part of a series, and the story of a couple from an earlier book. Susana and Moor do declare their love earlier in the book than a lot of romances, but I love the way they grow in their own ways, overcoming fears and dangers with the help of each other.

Saw this on a fellow Goodreaders list and could not belive my eyes! lol Thought I was maybe lookin at the cover wrong but once I got a closer look... Nope! I was right! lol I thought about all the Werewolf and other shape shifting dudes in books nowadays and Xena Warrior Princess also hooked up with a centaur so what the heck why not give it a go?! lol
Well... cover aside the word "pu$$y" can be found on the second page in so that should give you some insite as to how the rest of the book follows but beyond that it wasnt to shabby. I kinda worried thats all it would be but I liked the story behind this Horseman's world and it got alot better tword the end.

I liked it. Not typically what I usually read, but still good.
A few twists and turns. An easy - all night read.
The plot was good, the story flowed well.
This was a good book, wasn't a keeper for me (but that's just me) but that didn't stop me from lloking up the other books in the HORSEMEN SERIES.
